A promo package for NWA Summer Sizzle "Beach Bash" airs and shows highlights from the event before launching into the traditional opening sequence.
William Regal: "Ladies and gentlemen, welcome to the finest sixty minutes of pro wrestling in the world, the Show Time Power Hour! I'm your host William Regal. Alongside me, as always, is my lovely co-host Renee Young. We have a fabulous episode lined up this week, Renee!"
Renee Young: "Indeed we do, William. I am so excited about the main event. But, we have a couple of other great matches booked as well."
Regal: "Yes! We have what will surely be an explosive tag team grudge match up first, followed by a Women's Championship match, and our huge six-man main event."
Young: "It's going to be one jam-packed night. We'd better get it started!"
Regal: "Let's take it to the ring!"
Match One ~ "Meiyu Tag"--Hirooki Goto & Katsuyori Shibata vs. Tetsuya Naito & Ryusuke Taguchi
"Meiyu Tag" defiantly strutted to the ring, pushing fans aside on their way. Naito & Taguchi sprinted to ringside and the fight was on before the bell could even be rung. The action raged uncontrolled for at least three minutes before the referee could gain some semblance of control, with Taguchi and Shibata in the ring.
"Meiyu Tag" masterfully took over the bout, working Ryusuke over with stiff kicks, knee strikes, and chops to his head, neck, and shoulders. He was much the worse for wear after several minutes and was in desperate need of a tag. Naito chomped at the bit on the outside while Goto and Shibata isolated his weakened partner. Taguchi finally escaped after a lunging "Lariat" took Goto down. Taguchi made the tag to Naito and the crowd erupted.
Naito hit the ring like a house of fire, unloaded of both of his hated rivals with fearsome fury. He hit one impressive sequence where he landed a "Step-up Shining Wizard" on Goto off of Shibata. The crowd leapt to its feet at that maneuver. Naito set Shibata up for his vaunted "Phoenix Splash," but was shoved off the top rope and to the floor by Goto. "Meiyu Tag" took advantage of the two-on-one situation to destroy Taguchi with a double "Penalty Kick" for the pinfall.

After the bell, "Meiyu Tag" continued to lay the boots to Taguchi until Naito made the save with a steel chair, running off the nefarious duo.
Regal: "Naito cleaned house! You can see the rage in his eyes!"
Young: "This feud is far from over!"
Regal: "Let's go to Mandy Leon, who's standing by with Ladies Division Commissioner Yuzuki Aikawa.
Mandy Leon: "Ms. Aikawa, you wanted to make an official announcement concerning NWA: Show Time Women's Chamnpion Manami Toyota. Go ahead, ma'am."
Yuzuki Aikawa: "Yes. Manami Toyota has pledged to defend the NWA: Show Time Women's Championship against every member of the ladies division. She has made many defenses to this point, but I will publish a list of the challengers she has already defeated and will also produce a list of those she has yet to face, this Thursday on the debut episode of Show Time Femme Fatales. Manami wishes to make the NWA: Show Time Women's Championship the most prestigious title outside of the World Women's Championship. If she defeats every member of the largest ladies roster in the NWA, she will surely accomplish that."
Leon: "That is certainly a daunting task, given our impressive roster and the fact that Manami is the oldest active member of it."
Aikawa: "Ms. Toyota has assured me that her age will not be a factor in whether or not she is successful. I, for one, refuse to put anything past her."
Leon: "Agreed. Good luck, Manami. The world is rooting for you! William, Renee. Back to you."
Regal: "We are all cheering the inspirational Manami Toyota on indeed."
Young: "In fact, it's time to cheer her on once again, as she is set to defend her championship right now."
Match Two ~ NWA: Show Time Women's Championship ~ Manami Toyota vs. Cherry
Cherry came skipping out to a good reception, but nothing like what greeted the champion as she gracefully walked to the ring. Show Time fans have shown Toyota tremendous respect since she began with the company. This night was no different.
The match itself was one for the ages. Cherry is a formidable opponent, regardless of her "cutsy" exterior. She regularly wrestled men in Japan and held several men's championships. Her athletic prowess was on display against the equally talented Toyota, long considered the greatest in-ring competitor in women's wrestling history. The opening seven-to-nine minutes of the match were a chess game, with each woman feeling the other out. Toyota worked to ground the smaller and faster Cherry. Cherry, meanwhile, attempted to chop the bigger, stronger, Toyota down to size.
Mid-match became a veritable slugfest, which each lady trading move-for-move, hold-for-hold. Cherry hit the "Blizzard Suplex,"
"Cherryton Bomb," "Confusion Bomb," and "Spring Night Love." None of her signatures gained the victory.
Cherry was unleashing her best offense on Toyota, but Manami was intent on surviving and coming back strong. Toyota landed the "Japanese Ocean Cyclone Suplex," the "Japanese Ocean Bomb," the "Japanese Ocean Suplex," and the "Manami Roll." No pinfalls were scored.
The fans were gasping harder than the ladies by the end. Ultimately, Cherry attempted to land the knockout blow. She brought Toyota and herself to the top rope. As they jockeyed for position, Toyota got the upper hand and maneuvered into the "Victory Star Drop." Finally, a pin was achieved! The crowd erupted with a standing ovation, followed by a "That was awesome!" chant.

Neither lady to get to her feet for quite a few minutes. The show went to commercial as attendants assisted each competitor. As both ladies were finally helped to their feet, the crowd let out another thunderous ovation.
Young: "William, I am absolutely breathless! That is, without a doubt, one of the greatest matches I have ever had the privilege to witness live. There was nothing more either one could have done to win the match! Bravo, ladies!"
Regal: "Renee, I am stunned, almost to speechlessness. As a former wrestler myself, I am actually humbled by having watched it. Congratulations to both competitors on the best match in Power Hour history...BY FAR! I cannot say enough about the match we just witnessed. We're going to have to go straight to the main event for the sake of time, but I could dissect the ladies' match for the rest of the hour and not come close to doing it justice."
Match Three ~ "The Kingdom"--Adam Cole, Michael Bennett, and Matt Taven, with Maria Kanellis vs. Claudio Castagnoli, Shelton Benjamin, and Dean Ambrose
The heroes entered first to a huge pop. Renee Young seemed particularly giddy when Dean Ambrose wandered by the announce booth.
"The Kingdom" stopped by Mandy Leon's interview position to say a quick word before the match.
Adam Cole: "We are being challenged tonight by three individuals who have never teamed together before. That was their first mistake. Never try to use spare parts to go against a well-oiled machine. You see, Mandy, we did get together on a whim, nor are three guys who barely know each other. We run the roads together. We war together. We rule and reign together. Tonight will be no different."
Leon: "And, what was their second mistake?"
Cole: "Excuse me?"
Leon: "You said the first mistake that Castagnoli, Ambrose, and Benjamin made was being individuals and challenging your group. What was their second mistake?"
Cole (smirking): "Thinking they have a chance to win."
"The Kingdom" entered the ringside area to a symphony of boos. Just before the bell rang, "Ladies and Gentlemen" by Saliva blared to bring out NWA: Show Time CEO "The Show" Jordan Richards with a microphone in hand.
Jordan Richards: "Well, well, well. I have given my two Commissioners the night off and I decided that I would have some fun tonight. I've been looking forward to this match since last week. Adam Cole, it's high time you and your little 'Kingdom' get what's coming to you. To make sure these three guys across the ring get a chance to make you squeal, I'm making this a 'No Disqualification' match!"
The PNC Music Pavilion audience went bananas. "The Kingdom" was livid, but did not have time to protest, as Shelton, Claudio, and Dean went to clubbering, as Dusty Rhodes would have said. It basically became a six-man "Texas Tornado" match from the get-go. The action was almost impossible to call. Even the announce team had difficulty keeping up. Castagnoli ripped off some huge "European Uppercuts" around the horn. Benjamin hit a triple set of "Superkicks." Ambrose reeled off a three-way jabfest, finally laying each man out with successive "Bionic Elbows."
Ambrose dragged Taven into the stands and held him while a few fans got some open-handed chops in. Shelton took Cole for a ride on the "Bulldog Express." Castagnoli gave Bennett the "Giant Swing" for thirty revolutions. Fans got louder with each rotation. The match took a climactic turn about ten minutes in. Jordan Richards was seen shuffling around at ringside. He made a call on his cell phone and was heard saying, "It's time." Thirty seconds later, new draftee Brock Lesnar appeared at ringside and "F-5'ed" Castagnoli, Ambrose, and Benjamin into oblivion. "The Kingdom" looked awestruck at the carnage. Bennett, at Maria's behest, quickly regained his composure and rolled Ambrose into the ring for the cover. Cole forced the referee to make the three-count.
Winners = "The Kingdom" by pinfall in 11:23
Jordan Richards jumped into the ring and approached Lesnar. They stood toe-to-toe, glaring at one another. Then, both began laughing maniacally. They shook hands, then embraced to the shock of everyone in sight.
Regal: "What, exactly, are we witnessing here?!"
Young: "I knew something was up with Jordan Richards!"
Just then, "The Kingdom" composed itself and squared off with Richards and Lesnar. When it looked as if there would be a war, Richards shook Cole's hand and smiled. Kanellis planted a kiss on Richards' cheek and the swerve was complete. Richards took a microphone.
Richards: "I can hear the fans screaming right now, 'Oh, the agony! Why, oh why? Jordan, why did you do it to us? Why would you turn on your own roster? Why? Why? Why?' I'm going to tell you the entire grand scheme. But, you'll have to tune in to MY Show Time Power Hour next week to find out (insert evil laugh)! Oh, and another thing. I would suggest you watch Emperor Ihsahn's Wild West Wrestling TV this week. I think you'll be pretty interested to see what my newest hired hitman, Mr. Lesnar here, is up to. It's a new day, and I can promise everyone in the NWA will know very shortly, that it is 'Show' time!!!"
Debris showered the ring as Jordan Richards, Brock Lesnar, and "The Kingdom" basked.
Regal: "I am completely disgusted right now, Renee! I was in WCW when the "nWo," and our now beloved Commissioner Scott Hall, succeeded in running that once great company into the ground. I can only hope the same thing does not happen here. I hope Hall and Jake Roberts are not in on this as well. In fact, I can no longer sit out here tonight."
Regal leaves the announce booth.
Young: "Well fans, we're all at a loss right now over what just happened out here. I'm struggling to make heads or tails of it myself. But, you heard our CEO. I guess we'll all have to wait until next Tuesday to get some sort of explanation. NWA fans may want to tune in to Wild West's weekly programming to see what Jordan Richards is talking about with Brock Lesnar. We saw how he aided CM Punk in becoming the new NWA World Heavyweight Champion. What's next? And, how does it all fit together? Fans, we'll see you this Thursday for the debut episode of Show Time Femme Fatales and back here next Tuesday for what will be an eagerly-awaited Power Hour. I'm Renee Young, for William Regal, signing off."
