William Regal: "Ladies and gentlemen, welcome to the finest sixty minutes of pro wrestling on television, the Show Time Power Hour. I'm your host William Regal. With me, as always, is my lovely co-host Renee Young."
Renee Young: "William, I never get tired of hearing that. Fans, we have a super exciting episode of Power Hour planned for you today, with a main event that will feature the long awaited clash between Mikael Judas and Jason Justice."
Regal: "Without further adieu, let's take it to the ring!"
Match One ~ Becky Lynch vs. Mandy Leon
NWA: Show Time newcomer Becky Lynch stormed the ring and went straight to work. She isolated Leon's left arm and performed her "Fujiwara Armbar" for the quick tapout.
Winner = Becky Lynch by submission in 1:31
Young: "Apparently, Becky Lynch does not get paid by the hour! She took care of Mandy Leon in short order."
Regal: "Indeed she did, Sunshine! She looks like a force to be reckoned with in the ladies division! Back on July 4th, NWA: Show Time had a huge event in the historic Greensboro Coliseum. A one night tournament was held for the title of "Lord of the Ring" and a $50,000 winner-takes-all prize. 16 men entered this random draw event with one mission: take that cash home! By the end of the tournament, Testuya Naito had claimed the night by defeating NWA: Show Time Heavyweight Champion Adam Cole. Our own Scarlett Bordeaux is standing by at ringside to interview Tetsuya. Scarlett..."
Scarlett Bordeaux: "I'm here with "Lord of the Ring" Tetsuya Naito. Can you tell me how it feels to be $50,000 richer?"
Before he could answer, Naito was jumped by two men in ninja costumes. They beat him senseless and one of them grabbed a microphone.
"Meiyu is here!"
With that, they exposed their faces to reveal the tag team of Hirooki Goto and Katsuyori Shibata, aka "Meiyu Tag."
Shibata: "Show Time is ours and Naito dies first!"
They left the ring to a chorus of boos as several referees attended to Naito.
Regal: "Wow! I guess you never know who will show up at NWA: Show Time! 'Meiyu Tag' is an impressive team and it looks as if they have bad intentions for the entire locker room, beginning with Naito."
Young: "Why did 'Meiyu Tag' single out Tetsuya Naito? What do they have in store for NWA: Show Time?"
Regal: "What indeed? I suppose it all remains to be seen. Wow. Back to the ring after this quick snippet."
(Pre-taped sound byte from the NWA: Show Time Tag Team Champions "Sons of Steel"--Boomer Payne & Brice Anthony)
Boomer Payne: "We were born on the streets of Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania. Our families were working class stiffs their entire lives. We came from nothing to become the NWA: Show Time Tag Team Champions. Our moment of glory in front of thousands of fans...and it was ruined by a couple of dime store thugs!"
Brice Anthony: "'The Addiction' thought they would sneak in the back door and make a name for themselves at our expense. Well, we've been jumped before, boys. We've gotten back up every time. You want our attention? You've got it!"
Payne: "Christopher Daniels. Frankie Kazarian. We're gonna be at the next Power Hour and we're heading straight to the ring when we get there. If you guys have the guts, you'll meet us between the ropes and we'll show you what a back-alley mugging is supposed to look like!"
Match Two ~ (Non-title) "Sons of Steel"--Boomer Payne & Brice Anthony vs. "The Addiction"--Christopher Daniels & Frankie Kazarian
The champions made their way to ringside without the title belts. Boomer grabbed the microphone. "Hey, 'Addiction!' If you boys have the cojones, get your tails out here now!"
"The Addiction" slowly approached ringside. They conferred with one another before walking away.
Boomer took the mic again. "Hey Brice, I guess you win the bet. Their balls haven't dropped yet!"
With that, Daniels and Kazarian hit the ring and a four-way brawl ensued. The referee rang the bell to start an official match, but there was no real match to contest. This was a fight. All four men went at it with ferocity. They battled into the crowd, back into the ring, into the announce area, back into the ring, into the locker room area, and back into the ring. With no hope of gaining control of this one, the referee finally signaled for the bell, signifying a no contest.
Winners = No contest in 5:50
The guys were still fighting after the bell. Both locker rooms eventually cleared in an effort to stop the melee. After nearly five more minutes, both teams were separated and dragged back to the dressing rooms.
Young: "William, this feud is just getting started. I think the summer is really heating up!"
Regal: "Yes. The war is far from over. Speaking of feuds just getting started, our main event is still to come, with the gargantuan Mikael Judas and Jason Justice set to do battle. Before we get this contest going, we want to show you an interesting interview that Renee conducted earlier today with the owner and CEO of NWA: Show Time, "The Show" Jordan Richards."
Young: "Mr. Richards, thank you so much for granting me this opportunity to sit down with you."
Jordan Richards: "The pleasure is mine, Renee. I've always been a fan of your work. That's why I hired you."
Young: "Thank you, sir. My first question is this: what is your vision for NWA: Show Time?"
Richards: "Well, I want us to move to the forefront of the territory system. I want us to be like our predecessor in this region, Jim Crockett Promotions. I want Show Time to be considered the number one promotion in the world. I know I got started late to the territory party, and I don't have any "marquee" names, whatever that means, but we make up for lack of perceived "star power" with the best wrestling around, period."
Young: "I believe we're well on the way to becoming the number one promotion in the NWA. I want to ask you about last week's episode of Power Hour. We crowned our first heavyweight champion, Adam Cole. What I am particularly interested in is the finishing sequence of the match. You walked over to Cole and whispered something into his ear. What did you say?"
Richards: "I told him, 'The time is now. Make it happen.'"
Young: "What did you mean by that?"
Richards: "I see a lot of myself in Adam Cole. I simply got caught up in the moment and went over to motivate him. Simple as that..."
Young: "You also 'shook' his hand. However, that handshake seemed awkward. It almost appeared that you placed something into Cole's hand."
Richards: "Renee, are you accusing me of something? Are you saying that I slipped a foreign object to Adam Cole? Are you actually insinuating that I would have anything to do with affecting the outcome of a match? What kind of unethical businessman do you take me for?"
Young: "I'm sorry to have offended you, Mr. Richards. But, it looked like you slipped something to Adam Cole. Two punches later, he was the winner of the match. Are you saying that you did not give him anything?"
Richards: "I have no idea what you're talking about. Quite frankly, I'm not especially enamored by this line of questioning. (Jordan Richards then received a message of some sort on his cell phone) Now, if you will excuse me, Renee, I have some pressing issues to attend to."
Young: "Thank you for your time, sir."
Richards: "Indeed, Ms. Young."
Regal: "A revealing, yet un-revealing interview, Renee."
Young: "I was thinking the same thing myself."
Regal: "Well fans, it's now the moment you have all waited for. Mikael Judas vs. Jason Justice in a clash of the titans."
Match Three ~ "Priest of Punishment" Mikael Judas vs. "Ticking Time Bomb" Jason Justice
These two had an epic staredown in mid-ring. The crowd was already chanting, "This is awesome!" When they went at it, they tore into each other with a demonic rage. This was not a catch-as-catch-can exhibition. It was not a scientific masterpiece. It was a war of mythical proportions. Jim Ross would have called it a "slobberknocker." It was that times one hundred. It was almost inhuman. The end came with an earth-shattering "Chokeslam" from Judas for the pin.
Winner ~ Mikael Judas by pinfall in 10:32
After the match, Justice attacked Judas and beat him unconscious with the ringside steps.
Regal: "This feud rages on. No end in sight!"
Young: "I can't wait to see those two lock horns again. That is, if Judas can make it back."
Regal: "I have a feeling he won't stay down for long. That's it for this week fans. Until next time, ta ta for now!"
Renee Young: "William, I never get tired of hearing that. Fans, we have a super exciting episode of Power Hour planned for you today, with a main event that will feature the long awaited clash between Mikael Judas and Jason Justice."
