Mandy Rose Released Over R to X Rated Pictures/Videos

As seen during the December 13th 2022 edition of WWE NXT, Roxanne Perez defeated Mandy Rose to become the new NXT women’s champion. The match was originally supposed to take place at the New Year’s Evil special in January.
On Wednesday afternoon, Sean Ross Sapp of Fightful.com tweeted the following…
“Fightful Select has learned that Mandy Rose has been released by WWE. WWE officials felt they were put in a tough position based on the content she was posting on her FanTime page: Rose’s FanTime page has a monthly cost of $40. According to claims from the New York Post, images of her and her fiancé, Tino Sabbatelli, in the shower that is somewhere between R- and X-rated started circulating online recently. They felt like it was outside of the parameters of her WWE deal.”

Both Dave Meltzer and Mike Johnson confirmed the report as being accurate. Meltzer tweeted, ”There’s a lot to the Mandy Rose firing today and the title change last night was a last minute decision based on the fact she was getting fired and not the original plan.”
Bryan Alvarez owent into more detail about the situation…
“This did have something to do with a site that she set up where she charges fans to see videos of her. Now, it is not an OnlyFans, okay? Apparently everybody thought that it was like an OnlyFans. Apparently she does not have an OnlyFans in WWE. I don’t know what they restrict, don’t restrict, take money from or whatever, but she basically set up her own subscription service. WWE was aware of this service. So for a while, this was not an issue. This was not something that they were unaware of. And then she ended up dropping the title yesterday, and she is no longer or with the company. So those are all of the facts. Okay?”
“From what I’ve been told her subscription site through FanTime, where she posted bikini shots, and this and that, and then recently it became more than that. We saw a lot more of Mandy Rose (as in everything & I mean everything from the top her head to the bottom of her feet & nothing was covered if you get my drift) and apparently it got to the degree where WWE was like, ‘this isn’t gonna fly.’”
Alvarez noted that Mandy was allegedly making more money from her website’s content than she was making under her WWE contract. Alvarez also noted the following…
“I was given the impression that it’s not like she can never come back, and there is a possibility down the road she will come back, but for now she is gone.”

And told Shawn what was there, and Shawn’s immediate thing was, ‘We’ve got to get the title off of her immediately’. Switched around the whole show, got the title off of her.”
“She’s had the subscription service, and it got popular and lucrative, and she went further and further, and the feeling was that she way, way, way crossed the line. And they believe that they had absolutely no choice but to get rid of her.”
It’s believed that the plan was for Roxanne to beat Mandy in early 2023 but Michaels felt they had to rush the title change.
