The episode began with a video retrospective on the career of "The Bad Guy" Scott Hall, who recently passed away. The video ended with Hall's infamous quote from his hall of fame induction: "Hard work pays off. Dreams come true. Bad times don't last, but bad guys do." When the arena feed began, the entire roster (sans "The Fiend") surrounded the ring. Ring Announcer JoJo Offerman led a ten-bell salute and moment of silence. The crowd then gave a standing ovation and broke out into a "Thank you, Scott!" chant. Several members of the roster were visibly upset, especially "The KliQ."
William Regal, Mauro Ranallo, and Jim Cornette then introduced the episode, which was set to honor Hall's memory, and went to Cathy Kelley for the Legends Division match.
Match One ~ "The KliQ" ("Heartbreak Kid" Shawn Michaels & "Big Sexy" Kevin Nash) vs. "The KliQ" ("Road Dogg" Brian James & Billy Gunn)
This was more of an exhibition match then a competitive one, as these men are best friends and shared the ring with Scott Hall for much of their careers. In the end, no pinfall were attempted, no submissions locked in, but there were plenty of references to Hall's signature moves (i.e. the "surfer" walk, flipping the hair behind the shoulders, etc.). The match ended as a draw.
Winners = time limit draw in 10:00
After the bell, all four members of the match met in center ring and did a "KliQ" salute and "curtain call," reminiscent of the one done in Madison Square Garden back in 1996. Once again, the fans gave a standing ovation.
Match Two ~ "Blair Pair" (Amira & Amaris Blair) and Ava White vs. Rok-C, Nikkita Lyons, & Maya Yukihi
This was a highly competitive match. All six ladies were intent on showing what they had to offer. Yukihi, in particular, was aggressive and more vicious than usual. As a result, she got herself and the team disqualified for refusing to break at the referee's five-count.
Winners = "Blair Pair" & Ava White by disqualification in 15:38
After the match, Maya was confronted by her teammates. Yukihi shoved Rok-C to the mat, then hit a "Roundhouse Kick" on Lyons. Maya then left the ring defiantly, with a disgusted look on her face.
The main event was on deck next. Marty Scurll made his open challenge to anyone from the Chuck Taylor "camp" in defense of his Cruiserweight Championship. Marty gave an impassioned speech about having been a "villain" his entire career, but taking on the role of hero and fighting for the honor of the Show Time Cruiserweight Division. Scurll once again called Johnny Gargano a traitor, and promised to teach his entire "crew" a lesson in respect. Fans really rallied behind Scurll and company.
Match Three ~ NWA: Show Time Cruiserweight Championship ~ "The Villain" Marty Scurll vs. ??
As "Villain Incorporated" was coming to the ring, they were ambushed by Gargano, Taylor, and several men wearing black masks and dressed in all black. One of them took off his garb and revealed himself to be Daunte Martin, who jumped up into the ring. Gargano and friends threw Scurll into the ring and the match began. This ended up being competitive, although Marty was forced to come from behind. He eventually locked in the "Crossface Chickenwing," which forced Martin to tap out.
Winner and STILL NWA: Show Time Cruiserweight Champion = Marty Scurll by submission in 22:22
As soon as the bell rang, Gargano's crew of henchmen hit the ring once again and laid waste to Scurll and his stable mates. Suddenly, the lights went out. When they came back on, Will Ospreay was standing in the ring with several black umbrellas in both hands. The crowd went ballistic. He began to smack all of Gargano's collective until Scurll and company made it back to their feet. Will then tossed each of them an umbrella and they began to light up the masked marauders. Gargano and his band of heels fled the ring, and Scurll's group gave chase.
Regal ended the program with the sentiment, "It looks like the war is just getting started!"
