This was the go-home episode of the Show Time Power Hour before Great American Bash on Sunday, July 11. It was an all tag team hour. Because I've had a very busy week, I am going to limit this to highlights only.
Will Regal, Mauro Ranallo, and Jim Cornette welcomed the fans. Cornette was especially happy, because both of his teams were in action this night. He was dismissed as the commentary threw it over to Cathy Kelley.
Kelley a tag team match for the Legends Division, which would pit "The Heavenly Bodies" against "The New Age Outlaws." The Legends commentary team of Jim Ross, Jerry Lawler, and Tony Schiavone called the action.
Match One ~ "The Heavenly Bodies" ("Sweet" Stan Lane & Dr. Tom Prichard) with Jim Cornette vs. "The New Age Outlaws" ("Road Dogg" Brian James & Billy Gunn) with "Heartbreak Kid" Shawn Michaels, "Big Sexy" Kevin Nash, and "Bad Guy" Scott Hall
During the match, "The Kliq" was banished from ringside for getting caught interfering. "NAO" continued to cheat throughout, targeting Prichard. At the climactic conclusion, former members of Cornette's "Midnight Express," Dennis Condrey and Bobby Eaton, came to ringside. Eaton argued with the referee while Condrey took Jim's tennis racket and cold-cocked James with it. Lane made the cover while Eaton tripped Gunn on the apron. The referee counted the three, none the wiser.
Winners = "Heavenly Bodies" by pinfall in 10:12
Match Two ~ NWA: Show Time Mixed Tag Team Championship ~ "The Fiend" & Alexa Bliss vs. Jimmy & Trinity Uso
The Usos captured the titles after a distraction from "Doomsday" for the second week in a row. This time, the distraction was against Alexa and was perpetrated by Scarlett, as Alexa was perched on the top rope for "Twisted Bliss." The delay allowed Trinity to move, then subsequently nail "Rear View" on Alexa to get the win.
Winners and NEW NWA: Show Time Mixed Tag Team Champions = Jimmy & Trinity Uso by pinfall in 14:45
Commissioner Sting came out and announced that, at Great American Bash, Seth Rollins' Heavyweight Championship defense against Kota Ibushi would be "No Disqualification" and that "Doomsday" would be banned from rignside.
Match Three ~ "The Revival" (Dash Wilder & Scott Dawson) with Jim Cornette vs. "Minnesota Stretching Crew" ("The Beast" Brock Lesnar & "Gold Standard" Shelton Benjamin) with "Olympic Hero" Kurt Angle
After a phenomenal twenty-minute encounter, Borck Lesnar took out Dawson with a tackle through the ringside barricade. Meanwhile, Benjamin went airborne with his "Springboard Shooting Star Press." In one of the most impeccable feats of timing ever in a ring, Dash went from back down on the mat to leap up and catch Shelton with the double knees portion of the "Shatter Machine" finisher to a huge roar from the crowd and the following pinfall.
Winners = "The Revival" by pinfall in 20:33
Regal and Ranallo raved about the finish and replayed it a couple of times before going off the air.
