William Regal: "Ladies and gentlemen, welcome to the finest sixty minutes of pro wrestling in the world, the Show Time Power Hour! I'm your host, William Regal. with me are Mauro Ranallo and Jim Cornette! Gents, we are three days removed from SuperBrawl and 'The Four Horsemen' are a little lighter around the waists!"
Mauro Ranallo: "Are they ever?! Chris Jericho was defeated by WALTER for the World Heavyweight Championship and CM Punk lost the United States Title to Shinsuke Nakamura!"
Jim Cornette: "It was a monumental night indeed! It's always a big deal when the World Championship changes hands, because it doesn't happen much!"
Regal: "No, it does not! Fans, what a program we have scheduled! Nick Aldis will defend the Mid-Atlantic Championship tonight in a 'Triple Threat' and the Mixed Tag Team Championship will be on the line in our main event! But first, we have a special match, where the winners will get a future opportunity at the Cruiserweight Tag team Championship! Let's go to the ring!"
Match One ~ "Moustache Mountain" (Trent Seven & Tyler Bate) with Joanna Rose vs. Aleister Black & "The One & Only" Ricochet
This was a relatively quick match by normal standards for these two. Seven sustained a knee injury midway through and was easy pickings from there on out. Bate tried to get in, but Black and Ricochet did a masterful job keeping the youngster out of the ring. Bate never got the tag after Seven got hurt. Bate eventually threw in the towel and submitted the match when Black had caught Seven in a "Single Leg Boston Crab."
Winners = Aleister Black & Ricochet by referee stoppage in 11:22
Regal: "Tyler Bate had taken all he could stand!"
Ranallo: "The friendship was more important than the title shot!"
Cornette: "That was loyalty and devotion. I'll give him that!"
Regal: "Fans, we need to take a commercial break. When we return, Nick Aldis will defend the Mid-Atlantic Championship against Kota Ibushi and Matt Riddle!"
Regal: "We're back! To ensure we have time for all three of our matches, we're going straight back to the ring!"
Match Two ~ NWA: Show Time Mid-Atlantic Championship ~ "Triple Threat" match ~ "National Treasure" Nick Aldis with Kamille vs. Kota Ibushi vs. "King of Bros" Matt Riddle with "Olympic Hero" Kurt Angle
Nick Aldis worked cautiously throughout the match, and it looked like he would retain because Riddle and Ibushi were more concerned with each other at various stages. Aldis even managed to beat the proficient submission artist Riddle at his own game by locking him in the "King’s Lynn Cloverleaf." Matt struggled in the "Cloverleaf" until Kota broke the hold with a "V-Trigger" on Aldis, then covered Riddle for a two-count. Ibushi took over for a bit, dishing out "Golden Star Powerbombs" on both opponents and then going for a "Golden Star Press" on Matt. Riddle got the knees up to thwart it. Riddle looks like he might end the match with the "Heel Hook," combined with an arm trap. Matt had Kota twisted like a pretzel and on the verge of submission, until Nick came off the top rope with a "Diving Headbutt" on Ibushi’s midsection. Aldis had enough, as he dropped an elbow across Riddle, then hoisted Kota up and drove him into the canvas with the "Tormentum." Aldis went for the cover, but Matt grabbed him from behind and laid him out with a "Backstabber." Riddle planted Ibushi with the "Final Flash" and the "Bro Derek." He then applied the "Bromission," which got a tapout by Ibushi.
Winner and NEW NWA: Show Time Mid-Atlantic Champion = Matt Riddle by submission in 23:14
Riddle and Angle celebrated with the title up the entrance ramp as a dejected former champion Aldis sat in the corner with his head in his hands. Ibushi pounded the mat and got more and more angry. He finally rolled out of the ring and stomped up the ramp.
Regal: "'The Varsity Club' has taken the Mid-Atlantic Championship back! One man left elated, while the other two go away despondent and empty handed! Fans, we need to go to break. Our main event is one the other side!"
Regal: "We're back! Once again, we'll throw it right back up to JoJo Offerman for the call on the Mixed Tag Team Championship!"
Match Three ~ NWA: Show Time Mixed Tag Team Championship ~ "Gargano Way" (Johnny "Wrestling" Gargano & "Poison Pixie" Candice LeRae vs. "The Fiend" Bray Wyatt & Alexa Bliss
Johnny and Candice were nearly shaking in their boots. "Fiend" and Bliss present the macabre duo. They won the fight of the minds through bizarre intimidation. The women spent a lot of time in the ring, as Johnny was terrified to get into the mix with Wyatt. He finally had to, and it was the beginning of the end. "Fiend" overwhelmed Gargano with "Clotheslines" and his infamous "Running Crossbody Press." Gargano was running scared, but he couldn't get out of the ring and he and his better half ate stereo "Sister Abigails" for the win.
Winners and NEW NWA: Show Time Mixed Tag Team Champions = "The Fiend" & Alexa Bliss by pinfall in 19:53
Regal: "We have new champions, and their fearsome! Fans, we're all out of time for this week. Please join us again next Tuesday on TBS for more of the Show Time Power Hour! For Mauro Ranallo and Jim Cornette, I'm William Regal, saying ta ta for now!"
