The following are results from the NWA: Show Time & Femme Fatales joint venture known as "Summer Sizzle." The pay-per-view event took place on Saturday, August 22 in an outdoor amphitheater in Kill Devil Hills, NC, in front of an estimated 10,000-plus fans.
Pre-show Match: Tessa Blanchard defeated Jordynne Grace in a "No Disqualification, No Countout" match after nailing her with a loaded glove
Pay-Per-View Match One: "Killer Elite Squad" defeated "The Mighty Don't Kneel" in a "Texas Tornado" match after a "Killer Bomb" on Mikey Nicholls (Shane Haste had been dumped into the crowd)
Match Two: "Bada** Besties" (Toni Storm & Piper Niven) and "British Invasion" (Xia Brookside & CandyFloss) defeated "Donna del Mondo" (Giulia, Utami, Maika, & Himeka) in a "War Games" match after Storm pinned Giulia following "Storm Zero"
Match Three: "Doomsday" (Killer Kross, Kevin Steen, & Scarlett) defeated "The Fiend" Bray Wyatt, Aleister Black, & Maria Kanellis in a "Six-Person Tag Team" match after Scarlett pinned Maria following an eye gouge and a "Spike DDT"
Match Four: "Towers of Power" defeated "The Four Horsewomen" and "Submission Magicians" in a two-ring, "Double Elimination" match. "ToP" was the first team to be eliminated in the first ring. "Submission Magicians" were next, making "The Four Horsewomen" the undefeated winners of ring one. "ToP" defeated "SM" in ring two, then came back to win the match after Rhea Ripley pinned Bayley Rose
Match Five: "The Revival" defeated "Glorious Outlaws" to retain the NWA World Tag Team Championship, but were brutally attacked by all "Four Horsemen" after the match and left injured
Match Six: "NWA: Femme Fatales Women's Champion Io Shirai successfully defended her title against reigning NWA World Women's Champion Nixon Newell with a surprising clean pinfall after averting "The Shiniest Wizard" and catching Newell in a "Schoolgirl Roll" with a "Bridge" over Nixon's legs
Match Seven: NWA World Heavyweight Champion Chris Jericho defeated Edge in a controversial "Last Man Standing" match to retain the title. Both men were down and the referee was counting. Edge stood up behind him at seven, but was then tasered in the leg by Ric Flair, causing him to drop again. Jericho got up at nine within the referee's view. Edge was then counted out
