William Regal: "Ladies and gentlemen, welcome to the finest sixty minutes of pro wrestling in the world, the Show Time Power Hour! I'm your host, William Regal. With me are Mauro Ranallo and Jim Cornette! Men, tonight's the night! We will find out which team will represent NWA: Show Time in the NWA World Television Championship match!"
Mauro Ranallo: "It's the age old 'David versus Goliath' story, as Adrian Neville will take on WALTER in the tournament final!"
Cornette: "That should be fantastic! Also, we'll see what promises to be a wild brawl as 'The Four Horsemen' take on 'OI4K' in a 'Falls Count Anywhere' match!"
Regal: "But first, Kurt Angle has arranged for his new blue-chip group, which he has dubbed the second version of 'The Varsity Club,' to have a six-man tag team match at the top of the hour! Let's go to the ring!"
Match One ~ "The Varsity Club" ("The Beast" Brock Lesnar, "Gold Standard" Shelton Benjamin, & Jake Hager) with "Olympic Hero" Kurt Angle and Eve Torres vs. "The One & Only" Ricochet, "King of Bros" Matt Riddle, & Austin Theory
Newcomer Austin Theory, a prodigious twenty-one-year-old from the Atlanta, Georgia area who was making his debut with the company, looked impressive for the periods in this match when he in the ring. But, things changed midway through. "Doomsday" came to ringside and Seth Rollins began to focus on young Theory. Austin dropped down to the floor and Rollins whispered into his ear. Theory then left with "Doomsday," effectively making this a "Handicap" match. Ricochet and Riddle fought valiantly, but could not overcome the odds. Ricochet eventually fell victim to an "F-5/Springboard Shooting Star Press" combo from Lesnar and Benjamin.
Winners = "The Varsity Club" by pinfall in 12:36
Regal: "That was a statement win for the newly christened 'Varsity Club,' but what do we make of newcomer Austin Theory leaving his teammates and following 'Doomsday?!'"
Ranallo: "I think we've seen Seth Rollins create another disciple!"
Cornette: "Austin Theory is as fine a young talent as there is in the business right now! I guess Seth Rollins must see something in him!"
Regal: "Either that, or he's young and impressionable. We need to take a commercial break. When we return, it's our Television Championship Tournament final!"
Regal: "Fans, we're back! Cathy Kelley is backstage with an irate Johnny Gargano and wife Candice LeRae after the events of this past week during the 'Queen of the Ring' event. Let's hear what they have to say."
Cathy Kelley: "Candice, you had a chance at the NWA Women's World Championship during the 'Queen of the Ring' event. Alexa Bliss made an appearance during the match and caused a distraction, which led to Nixon Newell pinning you."
Candice LeRae: "Alexa Bliss outright cost me the World Title! She did more than cause a distraction! She sealed her fate!"
Johnny Gargano: "Cathy, get it straight! Candice was about to defeat Nixon Newell and take the World Championship! Alexa Bliss ruined it! Well now, we have even more reason to relieve she and Braun Strowman of those Mixed Tag Team Titles! It's the Gargano way or no way at all!"
Regal: "Wow. We assumed the Gargano family would be upset, but they have once again vowed to win the Mixed Tag Team Championship from 'Team Little Big.' I, for one, can't wait to see that clash! Fans, it's time to determine who will represent NWA: Show Time in the NWA World Television Championship match at Great American Bash! Will it be the top seed WALTER, or the upset minded Adrian Neville?! They have thirty minutes to fight, so let's find out!"
Match Two ~ NWA World Television Championship Qualifier Tournament ~ 1 "Ring General" WALTER vs. 7 "The Man Gravity Forgot" Adrian Neville
The fans did not know who to cheer, as both competitors are hated. They gravitated toward Neville due to his being the underdog. He actually seemed to feed off of it. The start was exciting, as Neville proved he was capable of wearing down the bigger man with his speedy aerial attacks. Adrian's "450 Splash" attempt became a "450 Double Knee Drop" instead. Unfortunately, he ended up dislocating his finger on the landing. Neville popped his own finger back into place and continued on, earning him some respect from the crowd. This injury weakened and hindered him throughout, but it led to him becoming more aggressive, taking out his anger on WALTER as if it was his fault. Adrian would then continue dominating WALTER before WALTER re-established himself with some big strikes and power moves. Neville struggled with his injury remainder of the match and WALTER used it to his advantage. Neville was bounced around for all of WALTER's obliterating arsenal, all while still managing to sneer in his typical arrogant 'bast***' fashion. WALTER looked good whenever he was in control, carrying himself like the true destroyer he is. Neville was able to show off his slick offense. Adrian continued to make the match exciting as he started mustering up a comeback. He hit WALTER with multiple power moves, but then he was derailed derailed when WALTER wrenched Neville's injured finger back, which then allowed him to hit a massive "Powerbomb" for the finish.
Winner = WALTER by pinfall in 23:14
Regal: "WALTER has done it! He's outlasted the field and staved off the upset bid!"
Ranallo: "WALTER is going to the Bash!"
Cornette: "He's been a dominant TV Champion for us! He's going to be hard to beat in July!"
Regal: "We'll take another break. Our big main event is up next! Stay with us!"
Regal: "We're back! The main event is set! It's 'Horsemen' versus 'OI4K' where 'Falls Count Anywhere!' Let's go to the ring!"
Match Three ~ "Falls Count Anywhere" ~ "The Four Horsemen" (Chris Jericho, CM Punk, "Glorious" Bobby Roode, & "Outlaw" James Storm) with "Nature Boy" Ric Flair, AJ Lee, and Maryse Ouellet vs. "OI4K" (Solomon Crowe, Madman Fulton, Jon Moxley, & Matt Cross with "Death Machine" Jessicka Havok, "Killer Queen" Neveah, Crimson, Jake Crist, Dave Crist, and Max the Impaler)
This was like a war zone. There were bodies strewn from one end of the arena to another by the time it was over. All eight men had bled buckets. This was a gruesome sight. The worst for wear probably was the World Champion Chris Jericho, whose face was barely recognizable through his crimson mask. He and Crowe both were exhausted as they landed blow after blow against one another while the rest of their respective teammates battled throughout the arena. Crowe went for his "Slingshot Splash," but Jericho dodged it. Chris then landed "The Judas Effect" as Crowe stood to his feet and slumped over his fallen opponent for the pinfall.
Winners = "The Four Horsemen" by pinfall in 20:11
Regal: "Jericho got the win in a bloody affair!"
Ranallo: "Momma Mia, that was a battle!"
Cornette: "I've seen 'The Horsemen' in some outright wars over the years, but that was one of their toughest!"
Regal: "Fans, that's going to do it for this week. Please join us next Tuesday on TBS for more of the Show Time Power Hour! For Mauro Ranallo and Jim Cornette, I'm William Regal, saying ta ta for now!"
