The League is a unique fantasy wrestling pick em' game where players draft a roster of Wrestlers and compete against other players in the hopes of conquering all and becoming champion!. Your wrestlers will earn points by winning matches, if you collect more points then your opponent for the week then you will earn a win and some sweet sweet eCash! The points you earn during your match-week will be added to your overall score in the standings and if you are in the top 4 at the end of the regular season then you'll qualify for the playoffs and the chance at being crowned the champion!
@theindyjunkie , TheShowJordanRichards and I have been working on the details of this league for a while now and with input from Chairshot we feel confident that we are ready to launch this beast. The League will be a long term game with seasons running for 16 weeks in total, including playoffs. We've designed this game so that it's fun and interesting. There is strategy to the game but you can also play casually. The seasons will consist of a 12 week regular season followed by the playoffs. Following the season there will be a month break before a new season begins. Drafts will only be held once per year.
The inaugural draft will take place this Monday, June 8th @ 7 pm eastern standard time.
We will be releasing the full set of rules and the league structure later this week in a sticky thread but if you have any questions you can post in this thread and you'll get an answer. This game will be great we think and there will be a way to utilize eCash which we will reveal later!
Eventually we will be using wrestlers from many different companies however because of the ongoing pandemic we are only able to make eligible wrestlers from WWE, AEW and Impact for Season 1 only. IF companies such as the NWA and ROH start running weekly shows again (empty arena of course) very soon then we might be able to sneak them into the game but judging by the looks of things we will not be expanding the wrestler eligibility list until Season 2. The goal eventually is to have WWE, AEW, New Japan, Impact, NWA, ROH, MLW, and maybe more so things will pick up. The reason is because only matches on a weekly television or PPV will be counted as it's the best way to keep track.
