Suddenly, the lights went dim and Kevin Steen made his entrance.

Then, he looked back at the entrance ramp and awaited his newfound allies.
Scarlett Bordeaux had a microphone in hand.
Scarlett Bordeaux: "Tick, tock. The time is now. The higher power is here. 'Doomsday' is upon us."
Scarlett Bordeaux: "Tick, tock. The time is now. The higher power is here. 'Doomsday' is upon us."
Regal: "It's Seth Rollins! He doesn't work here, does he?!"
Scarlett gave Seth the microphone.
Seth Rollins: "Ladies and gentlemen, allow me to make a proper introduction. I am Seth Rollins. I am indeed the higher power that has been promised for weeks. In fact, my true title is 'Modern Day Messiah.' You see, over two thousand years ago, One came Who would be the Anointed. He was sent to save the lost souls of this corrupt world. Flash forward to today. I have been sent to save the sport of professional wrestling. I have come that it might have life, and that more abundantly. However, it must be burned down before it can be built back up. I and my disciples will tear down the establishment and recreate it in my image. Therefore, 'Doomsday' is upon us. Once we've destroyed any semblance of the old, it will become something greater than ever imagined. My children, watch as this beautiful chaos unfolds before your eyes."
Rollins dropped the microphone and the entire group then showed praying hands as they glared into the camera.
Regal: "Wow. That was as surreal a moment as I've ever witnessed on this program."
Mauro Ranallo: "Seth Rollins is revealed as the higher power and says that this will be destroyed and rebuilt in his image! Momma Mia!"
Jim Cornette: "I don't know what Seth Rollins has in mind exactly, but he has a pretty strong team behind him!"
Regal: "I should say so, Jim. Fans, welcome to the Show Time Power Hour! We never got our full introduction before the program was halted by what is being called 'Doomsday.' We have a great episode lined up. Johnny Gargano has requested a 'Mixed Tag Team' match for he and his wife Candice LeRae. Adam Cole will defend the NWA World Jr. Heavyweight Championship in the main event! But first, Commissioner Sting will announce the brackets for the NWA World Television Championship qualifier tournament, which will see its first match in minutes! Let's go to the Commissioner now!"
JoJo Offerman: "Ladies and gentlemen, Commissioner Sting."
Sting: "Thank you, JoJo. As everyone knows, the NWA has resurrected the World Television Championship. I have a long history with that title. It was my first singles championship way back in nineteen eighty-nine. It has a rich and prestigious heritage and NWA: Show Time hopes to keep it going. We will have an eight-man tournament to decide who will represent this company at Great American Bash. Its starts here tonight. Our number one seed will be the current NWA: Show Time Television Champion WALTER. The rest of the field will be comprised of former Television Champions. Braun Strowman, Bobby Roode, Matt Riddle, Ricochet, Aleister Black, Adrian Neville, and Jason Justice will be the other seven participants and will be seeded in that order, two through eight. The tournament will be single elimination style with each match carrying a twenty-minute time limit and will culminate here on the Show Time Power Hour. In fact, over the coming weeks, every tournament match will air on the program. The first match will be between seeds four and five, Matt Riddle and Ricochet, respectively. Let's get a referee out here and start this tournament!"

Regal: "We're back! It's time for 'Mixed Tag Team' action! Cathy Kelley is backstage with Johnny Gargano and wife Candice LeRae, who've made this challenge!"
Cathy Kelley: "Johnny, Candice, what do you hope to accomplish by making a challenge for a 'Mixed Tag Team' match here tonight?"
Johnny Gargano: "We're out to prove that we are the best combination in this company! I ended a yearlong title reign against one of the best in the sport! My wife is the best women's wrestler on the planet. We are 'Johnny and Candice Wrestling!' Braun Strowman and Alexa Bliss walk around her with two title belts that we want! This will be our proving ground to getting a shot at the Mixed Tag Team Titles! So, we don't care who it is! We'll take on any male-female combo out there!"
Candice LeRae: "It's our time now, and no one can get in our way!"
Regal: "Strong words from Johnny Gargano and Candice LeRae. We'll see if they can back them up."
Match Two ~ "Mixed Tag Team" match ~ Johnny Gargano & "Poison Pixie" Candice LeRae vs. ??
Gargano and LeRae walked out talking trash and awaited their opponents. Kota Ibushi's music hit to bring out the former Cruiserweight Champion.
Gargano: "That's really cute, Kota. But, aside from the fact that you don't understand plain English, you also don't understand the point of a 'Mixed Tag Team' match. You're supposed to have a female partner!" Ibushi smiled and looked up at the tron.
Regal: "Big win for Matt Riddle! He moves on!"
Mauro Ranallo: "What action and excitement! That one could have gone either way!"
Cornette: "Ricochet had his chances, but it was Matt Riddle's night!"

Gargano and LeRae began to back off, but the referee rang the bell. It was a great match from a technical standpoint. The women stole the show, but the men were stellar as well. In the end, Candice caught Mayu in a "Crucifix" pin, but had her free leg pressed against the bottom rope (outside the referee's view) to gain the win while the men were outside the ring.

Ranallo: "The 'Poison Pixie' showed her true colors with her feet on the ropes!"
