William Regal: "Ladies and gentlemen, welcome to the finest sixty minutes of pro wrestling in the world, the Show Time Power Hour! I'm your host, William Regal. With me are Mauro Ranallo and Jim Cornette! It's Starrcade season and we're ramping up for the big event tonight!"
Mauro Ranallo: "This is the best time of the year to be a pro wrestling fan! Tonight, our owner Jordan Richards will be holding a public exhibition with some of our 'Show Time Dojo' trainees! This will be our first look at him in the ring in years, and on his birthday no less!"
Jim Cornette: "Will we see a renewed and invigorated Jordan Richards, who turned forty-seven today, or will we see the proverbial aging boxer looking for one last great bout?!"
Regal: "We'll know for sure later on. Jordan told us he's lost fifty-three pounds over the last year and he's in the best shape he's been in for the last two decades, including his wrestling days! That may bode well for him against CM Punk, who stays in great shape. Fans, we'll also have two more first round matches in the Mixed Tag Team Championship tournament! 'OI4K's' Solomon Crowe and Jessicka Havok will take on Colton and Ariel Piper! And, CM Punk and AJ Lee will team together against Pete Dunne and Joanna Rose! That should be fantastic and will represent the main event! Let's go to the ring!"
Match One ~ NWA: Show Time Mixed Tag Team Championship Tournament ~ "OI4K" (Solomon Crowe & "Death Machine" Jessicka Havok) vs. Colton & Ariel Piper
This was a glorified squash match. Colton got his licks in with Crowe, but Ariel was out of sorts since becoming one of Rosemary's minions in 'The Hive' a few months back. She and her brother had no real chemistry. That handicapped them against the real-life couple in Crowe and Havok. Havok woman-handled Piper, who obviously doesn't function well outside the confines of "the shadow." Ultimately, the "Harlot Slayer" did Ariel in.
Winners = "OI4K" by pinfall in 10:41
Regal: "That was a dominant performance by Solomon Crowe and Jessicka Havok!"
Ranallo: "They really took it to the brother sister combo! Colton and Ariel were not on the same page at all!"
Cornette: "I don't like 'OI4K,' but they earned a pretty impressive victory tonight!"
Regal: "Yes they did! Fans, we have to take a quick break. When we return, Jordan Richards will be in the ring with several of our trainees for a sparring session! Stay with us!"
Regal: "We're back! Let's go to the ring and JoJo Offerman with the call!"
Match Two ~ Public Exhibition/Sparring Session ~ "The Show" Jordan Richards vs. David Benoit, Terence Hughes, Terell Hughes, & Kerry Morton
Jordan Started methodically with each man he faced. There were no pin attempts or submissions rendered. This simply was a sparring session to allow Richards to show the world what kind of shape he was in ahead of his big match against CM Punk at Starrcade. The match was scheduled for four five-minute rounds with Richards taking on each trainee. Jordan made it through three full rounds and was into the fourth when the entirety of "The Magnificent Seven" hit the ring and attacked.
Winner = no contest in 18:23
CM Punk and company dumped the trainees who went to Jordan's aid and concentrated on the company owner and enemy number one. Suddenly, Adam Cole, Ricochet, Bobby Roode, James Storm, and Nick Aldis (members of the former "Richards Collective") ran down the aisle. The fight was on. "TM7" was winning the battle until:
Brock Lesnar came sprinting down to the ring. He was akin to Oprah Winfrey passing out gifts to the audience (except his "gifts" were in the form of "German Suplexes"). "You get a 'German!' You get a 'German!' Everyone gets a 'German!'" Lesnar was magnanimous in his dispensary of "German Suplexes." He threw every male member of the group head over heels. After he had leveled the field, Brock and friends stood triumphantly in the ring as they helped Jordan recover.
Regal: "That situation escalated quickly!"
Ranallo: "'The Richards Collective' may be disbanded, but they're still loyal to Jordan Richards!"
Cornette: "You got it!"
Regal: "We'll take another break. We'll be back with our main event next!"
Regal: "We're back! It's time for our main event, a first round match in the Mixed Tag Team Title tournament!"
Match Three ~ NWA: Show Time Mixed Tag Team Championship Tournament ~ "British Strong Style" ("Bruiserweight" Pete Dunne & Joanna Rose) vs. "The Magnificent Seven" (CM Punk & AJ Lee)
As we suspected, this was the match of the night. However, it did not end without controversy. The action went back and forth brilliantly between the men and the women. Joanna Rose has been in the sport for years, but has wrestled sparingly. But, she showed great prowess. The time she has spent with Dunne and company has paid off. Her submission game is on point. AJ Lee is known for her submission ability as well. Dunne and Punk were at their counter wrestling best. Pete used his joint manipulation tactics to perfection, while Punk used his kicks and strikes to gain the upper hand. In the end, the referee got knocked down with an inadvertent elbow from Dunne. Pete hit "Bitter End" and had Punk pinned, but AJ broke things up. This prompted Rose into the ring and the ladies scuffled to the outside. Meanwhile, Punk hit "GTS" and had Dunne pinned in center ring. The referee was still groggy and could not make the count. Then, Jordan Richards ran in with a steel chair and clocked Punk in the back of the head. He rolled Dunne on top of Punk and shook the referee as he backpedaled up the ramp. The dazed official made the three-count and rang the bell.
Winners = "British Strong Style" by pinfall in 22:14
Regal: "Jordan Richards got some revenge for that earlier attack!"
Ranallo: "Revenge is sweet, especially when you cost your archenemy the match!"
Cornette: "Turnabout's fair play in my book! Punk had it coming to him!"
Regal: "What a night! Fans, we're less than two weeks away from the biggest event of the wrestling world, and things are heating up! We're out of time for tonight. Please join us again next Tuesday on TBS for more of the Show Time Power Hour! For Mauro Ranallo and Jim Cornette, I'm William Regal, saying ta ta for now!"
The episode ended with Jordan Richards laughing and patting the dented steel chair as CM Punk recovered in the ring. AJ was screaming at Richards as the screen faded to black.
