"Show Time Power Hour" TV Taping Number 111 (Week 221)

William Regal: "Ladies and gentlemen, welcome to the finest sixty minutes of pro wrestling in the world, the Show Time Power Hour! I'm your host, William Regal. With me are Mauro Ranallo and a very happy Jim Cornette! Jim, your boys did it last week! They dethroned CM Punk and Matt Riddle for the Tag Team Championship!"

Jim Cornette: "You're dang right they did! And, in the process, 'The Revival' proved once again that they are the best tag team on the planet!"

Mauro Ranallo: "Is that a smile I see on your face Jim?! A very rare occurrence indeed!"

Cornette: "I break it out for special occasions!"

Regal: "Well, it is a special occasion, as this represents the first championship taken away from 'The Magnificent Seven!' Fans, we have a great hour lined up this week! We'll see Adam Cole take on Killer Kross in a marquee match set up by Ric Flair. In a bout signed by Sting, the Usos and Trinity will battle the Crist brothers and Neveah! But, we start the night with 'Sons of Steel' taking on 'The Insurgence' for a shot at 'War Machine's' Mid-Atlantic Tag Team Championship next week!"

CM Punk, followed by Matt Riddle, then by Ric Flair, all came intently walking to the ring.

CM Punk: "I am not out here as your CEO. I am here as a wrestler who was wronged one week ago."

Matt Riddle: "That's right, bro! We got robbed of the Tag Team Championship last Tuesday!"

Ric Flair: "I am out here as the Commissioner to rectify this situation. Let me draw your attention to the tron."

A video aired of last week's finishing sequence in the main event.

Flair: "CM Punk's shoulders were counted to the mat. But, CM Punk was not the legal man in the match. As you can see, Matt Riddle was the last man to receive a legal tag for his team. Therefore, the legal man was not pinned, making that result incorrect. The non-legal man cannot have his shoulders counted to the mat. So, CM Punk and Matt Riddle never technically lost the match or the titles."

Cornette: "What?!"

Dash and Dawson came stalking to the ring. Cornette left commentary and joined them.

Cornette: "What's the meaning of this Ric?! Don't tell me you're trying to screw us out of our title victory!"

Flair: "It wasn't me who screwed you, Jimmy. If you want to blame someone, blame Sting. He made the count on the wrong man."

Cornette: "That was only because your so-called champions kept powdering refs to keep from getting beaten!"

Flair: "Regardless of circumstances, the result remains the same. Therefore, I am stripping 'The Revival' of the Tag Team Championship and returning them to the rightful champions, CM Punk and Matt Riddle."

Cornette: "That's horse crap and you know it!"

Sting: "Ric, Ric, Ric. I had a feeling something like this would happen. It's okay, Jim. Let him give the titles back. I've got it covered. In two weeks, 'The Revival' will get their rematch. But, it will be 'Texas Tornado' rules, so everyone's legal at the same time! Also, to make sure there's no outside interference, it'll be inside a steel cage! And, there will be one referee inside the ring and one outside the ring!"

Punk: "What?! You can't do that!"

Sting: "Actually, I can and I just did!"

Dash and Dawson tossed the titles at the feet of Punk and Riddle and left. Cornette rejoined commentary.

Regal: "Well Jim, that was not what we expected."

Cornette: "I expected as much from Flair. But, Sting is trying to make it right! I respect that."

Regal: "Indeed. Let's go to the ring for some action!"

Match One ~ "Sons of Steel" (Boomer Payne & Brice Anthony) vs. "The Insurgence" (Kevin Steen & Claudio Castagnoli)

We've seen Steen and Claudio have trouble as a team recently on the NWA: Show Time live event tour. They just haven't been on the same page recently. It showed in this match against the veteran tandem and original NWA: Show Time Tag Team Champions. Steen and Claudio had their moments and worked over Brice for several minutes before Boomer got the tag and cleaned house. Ultimately, a mistimed "Diving European Uppercut" from Castagnoli caught Steen instead of Boomer. This left Steen easy fodder for "Steel Curtain."

Winners = "Sons of Steel" by pinfall in 15:13

Regal: "What a big win for Brice and Boomer! They move on to face 'War Machine' next week!"

Ranallo: "Those 'Forgotten Sons' will be forgotten no more, and they may be champions again after next week!"

Cornette: "Whether we were friend or foe, I always respected 'Sons of Steel.' They're a true tag team. They're a close second to Dash and Dawson."

Regal: "Okay fans, let's take a break. We'll be back with more action in just a moment!"

Regal: "We're back! This issue that has been brewing between 'OI4K' and 'Samoan Dynasty' is boiling over once again this week, as the Usos and Jimmy's wife Trinity will square off against Jake and Dave Crist and Jake's wife Neveah! This should be fierce!"

Match Two ~ Jimmy Uso, Jey Uso, & Trinity Uso vs. Jake Crist, Dave Crist, & "Killer Queen" Neveah with Solomon Crowe, Madman Fulton, Jon Moxley, Crimson, Matt Cross, and "Death Machine" Jessicka Havok

The presence of "OI4K" at ringside made the difference early on. The Crist family kept the advantage on Jimmy for some time. He finally tagged his wife in. Trinity dropped Neveah with three straight "Dropkicks." Then, she hit Dave Crist with "Rear View." A six-way brawl commenced. "OI4K" rushed the ring and caused the immediate DQ.

Winners = The Usos & Trinity by disqualification in 17:49

Jacob and Sefa Fatu hit the ring, but the numbers were too great to overcome. But, Bobby Roode, James Storm, and Ricochet evened the odds and helped run off Crowe and company.

Regal: "That was a nice show of solidarity against CM Punk's hired guns!"

Ranallo: "'The Richards Collective' and 'Samoan Dynasty' could be a very formidable pairing against 'The Magnificent Seven!'"

Cornette: "You can throw 'The Revival' into that mix too!"

Regal: "Good show, Jim! Fans, we need to take another break! When we return, Adam Cole and Killer Kross will battle in the main event!"

Regal: "We're back! Before we go to the ring for the main event, Vanessa Craft is backstage with Adam Cole and Britt Baker!"

Vanessa Craft: "I am here with Adam Cole and his valet Britt Baker. Adam, you're about to take on the dangerous Killer Kross in a match set up by Co-Commissioner Ric Flair. What are your thoughts?"

Adam Cole: "Yeah, and we see what Ric Flair is trying to do. Killer Kross shares a common enemy with 'The Richards Collective.' So, Ric is pitting us against each other hoping we'll become enemies. I have nothing personal against Killer Kross. But, he's my opponent. So, I'm going to do what I always do, and that's win. At the end of the night, the hand raised by the referee will be Adam Cole, bay bay."

Britt Baker: "And, if Scarlett Bordeaux does anything besides be a valet, I'll rearrange her smile."

Regal: "Okay. Britt Baker will not abide any tricks by Scarlett Bordeaux. Let's see if the 'Smoke Show' takes any umbrage with that!"

Match Three ~ Adam Cole with Britt Baker vs. Killer Kross with "Smoke Show" Scarlett Bordeaux

Cole and Kross put on a wrestling clinic. Kross was the bigger and stronger of the two. He used his MMA background to land stiff strikes and kicks. Cole's athleticism and pure wrestling ability shined as well. The two traded the upper hand several times. No one dominated. Their counter wrestling was on full display. The ladies almost came to blows and the fans were chanting for them to fight. The crowd stood to its feet and applauded in unison when a particularly scintillating exchange ended with both men landing "Super Kicks" and knocking each other silly. As both men lie motionless and the referee administered his count, "The Magnificent Seven" came running to the ring and attacked both men.

Winner = no contest in 22:08

The beat down commenced until Ricochet, Bobby Roode, and James Storm joined the fray. They were soon followed by "The Revival" for an all-out war.

Suddenly, the lights went out and this video aired on the tron.

Then, this image appeared on the tron:

Mystery Man: "Let me in."

Regal: "What the bloody heck are we looking at right now?! Who is this?!"

Ranallo: "What manner of sorcery is this?!"

Cornette: "I'm getting the heck out of dodge!"

The tron went dark. When the house lights came back on, everyone was down at ringside.

Then, a mysterious and ghoulish laugh blared throughout the arena.

Regal: "Fans, I don't know what to do with what we've witnessed here. Hopefully, we'll find out who this mystery entity is soon. Right now, we're all out of time.
