William Regal: "Ladies and gentlemen, welcome to the finest sixty minutes of pro wrestling in the world, the Show Time Power Hour! I'm your host, William Regal. With me are Mauro Ranallo and Jim Cornette! Men, CM Punk's plan to end 'The Richards Collective' once and for all backfired last week!"
Mauro Ranallo: "Yes William, he came up one victory shy of vanquishing his nemeses for good! Brock Lesnar spoiled the party, as he has done so many times in the past!"
Jim Cornette: "Well, he had help from some unlikely allies in 'Samoan Dynasty' and Killer Kross! But, 'TRC' lives to fight another day!"
Regal: "Speaking of those unlikely allies, CM Punk cannot be happy that 'Samoan Dynasty' and Killer Kross got involved in what he considers his business. However, you hardly can blame them, as both entities had their careers interfered with by his hand. Kross lost the Television Championship and the Usos and Fatus have been the target of attacks by 'OI4K,' which may or may not be operating as paid mercenaries for Mr. Punk. Watch this video caught earlier today by our backstage cameraman."
A pre-taped video aired of 'OI4K' leader coming out of CM Punk's office with an envelope that he stuffed into his jacket. CM Punk walked out behind Crowe smiling.
Regal: "So, do we have collusion in our midst? It certainly appears so. Well fans, tonight we have a great episode lined up! We have a 'Mixed Six-Person Tag Team' match, as Joanna Rose is teaming with 'Moustache Mountain' to take on Deonna Purrazzo, Marty Scurll, and Aleister Black! You can bet that Zack Sabre, Jr. and Pete Dunne will be lurking about as well! Alexa Bliss will defend the Mid-Atlantic Championship against the monstrous Mikael Judas, but Commissioner Flair has named Braun Strowman as the Special Referee, if you can imagine! And, in our main event, 'The Revival' takes on 'War Machine' for the Mid-Atlantic Tag Team Championship! It's going to be fantastic! Let's go to the ring!"
Match One ~ "Euro Trash" ("The Villain" Marty Scurll & Aleister Black) and "Virtuosa" Deonna Purrazzo vs. "Moustache Mountain" (Trent Seven & Tyler Bate) and Joanna Rose
This match came down to the interactions of the women involved. Both have wrestling experience, although Purrazzo is much more seasoned and skilled in multiple disciplines than rose. Joanna had her grit and heart going for her. She also had revenge on her mind for the betrayal of her former stable. Rose held her own against the 'Virtuosa," even showing off some signature maneuvers she must have learned from "British Strong Style." Dunne and Sabre argued at ringside the entire match before coming to blows near the end. This distracted the referee, who was calling for some Security help to break up the men warring outside the ring. Deonna took the opportunity to grab Scurll's umbrella and crack Rose across the back with it. This allowed her to escape with the pin before anyone else knew what happened.
Regal: "Deonna Purrazzo learned villainy well from her beau Marty Scurll!"
Ranallo: "In fact, she used his own weapon of choice to get the job done!"
Cornette: "Considering I've used a tennis racket to my advantage for nearly four decades, I can't really judge Deonna for finding a handy object lying around."
Regal: "Indeed. Fans, let's take a break. We'll return with more action in just a moment!"
Regal: "We're back! Vanessa Craft is standing by with the Mid-Atlantic Tag Team Champions, 'War Machine!' They'll be taking on Jim Cornette's 'Revival' in the main event!"
Vanessa Craft: "Ladies and gentlemen, 'War Machine.' Gentlemen, you will be facing a familiar foe tonight as you defend the Mid-Atlantic Tag Team Championship against 'The Revival.' You've beaten them before, and they've beaten you. How have you prepared for tonight?"
"WarBeard" Hanson: "Yes, 'The Revival' have been formidable opponents on the field of battle. They are one of the best teams in the world, but we are better. We've pinned them before. Tonight will be no different."
Craft: "Now, there were some question about how you won the Mid-Atlantic Tag Team Championship back from Ricochet and Nick Aldis. CEO CM Punk clearly interfered in that match. How do you silence critics who say you may not have earned that win?"
Raymond Rowe: "Listen Vanessa, it doesn't matter what people say about us. What matters is the results in the ring. As far as CM Punk goes, we didn't ask for his help and we certainly didn't need it. The titles were stolen from us in the first place. The way we see it, they got what they deserved. But, make no mistake about it, we earned the right to be called champions, and we'll prove it again tonight!"
A backstage aid then approached the champions and informed them that CM Punk wanted them at his office right then and there. They left confused. Craft looked taken aback as well.
Regal: "I wonder what CM Punk would want with 'War Machine.""
Cornette: "Do you really have to ask?! He in cahoots with them to try and screw us tonight! Well, it's not going to happen on my watch!"
Cornette threw down his headset and left the commentary booth.
Regal: "Well then, Jim Cornette is a man on a mission. I guess he won't be joining us for this next match, which pits Mikael Judas against similar odds to what we saw last week. Let's go to the ring!"
Match Two ~ NWA: Show Time Mid-Atlantic Championship ~ Special Referee "The Monster Among Men" Braun Strowman ~ "The Goddess" Alexa Bliss vs. "Priest of Punishment" Mikael Judas with Priestess Skyler Moon & The Sinister Minister
Once Strowman rang the bell, he brutally attacked Judas, throwing him outside the ring pounding on him. Braun rammed Judas into the steel corner post chest first three consecutive times. He then threw him through one side of the ringside barricade. Judas was spitting up blood by this time. Strowman then threw him back into the ring and delivered two bone-crushing "Running Powerslams." He then beckoned Alexa to climb the ropes, where she performed "Twisted Bliss" onto a prone Judas for the win.
Winner and STILL NWA: Show Time Mid-Atlantic Champion = Alexa Bliss by pinfall in 5:04
Regal: "What a farce of a match. Mikael Judas never stood a chance!"
Ranallo: "Momma Mia! Braun Strowman hijacked that match from the start and made sure his lady friend secured the victory without even breaking a sweat!"
Regal: "We'll take another break to get Mikael Judas some medical attention. Stay with us for more action in just a moment!"
As the episode came back to air, "War Machine" was heard arguing with CM Punk in his office.
Hanson: "We're not hired hitmen!"
Rowe: "Take your money and shove it!"
Punk: "You're making a career-changing decision! You'll regret it!"
"War Machine" stormed out of Punk's office and headed down the hall.
Regal: "We're back and ready for main event action! Let's see if we get a legitimate match or not!"
Match Three ~ NWA: Mid-Atlantic Tag Team Championship ~ "War Machine" ("WarBeard" Hanson & Raymond "Death" Rowe) vs. "The Revival" (Dash Wilder & Scott Dawson) with Jim Cornette
This was a classic tag team match through ninety percent of it. Both teams went full bore, throwing everything but the kitchen sink at each other. Though they utilize two different styles, these two teams take tandem offense to other levels of expertise. Dash and Dawson are masters of cutting the ring in half, like the old school cloth they were cut from. Hanson and Rowe are smash mouth, but with some insanely athletic moves, especially given their large size. Near the end of the match, CM Punk walked out in a lurking fashion toward the ring. Jim Cornette began to raise a ruckus, motioning toward the entrance. Suddenly, CEO Jordan Richards came out with a steel chair in hand. He chased Punk around the ring. During this, the referee got knocked down. Dash and Dawson hit Rowe with "Shatter Machine" and had the cover, but no referee to make the count. Dawson went over to the referee to rouse him. Meanwhile, Richards had Punk cornered on the ring apron. He took a giant swing with the chair, but Punk ducked. The chair clocked Dawson in the back and dropped him like a rifle shot. The referee was regaining his composure and missed it all. Rowe covered a dazed Scott Dawson while Hanson took Wilder out.
Winners and STILL NWA: Show Time Mid-Atlantic Tag Team Champions = "War Machine" by pinfall in 25:43
Regal: "Oh no! Jordan Richards tried to keep the match from becoming controversial, and he created controversy by mistake!"
Ranallo: "Jim Cornette is dejected in the corner, as he just saw his team's shot at the titles go up in smoke!"
Regal: "Jordan Richards is seething at CM Punk!"
Punk was shown laughing at Richards from the stage.
Regal: "What an unfortunate turn of events! Not only did CM Punk not get his comeuppance, he actually got what he wanted anyway! Eventually, something has to give! CM Punk and Ric Flair are running amuck! Fans, we're all out of time for this week. Please join us again next Tuesday on TBS for more of the Show Time Power Hour! For Maura Ranallo and Jim Cornette, I'm William Regal, saying ta ta for now!"
