William Regal: "Ladies and gentlemen, welcome to the finest sixty minutes of pro wrestling in the world, the Show Time Power Hour! I'm your host, William Regal. With me are Mauro Ranallo and Jim Cornette! Men, we have a huge episode this week!"
Just then, this entrance video aired on the tron:
Solomon Crowe marched to the ring with the full compliment of "OI4K." He grabbed a microphone.
Solomon Crowe: "Who's ready for havoc time?! We came to rip this place apart! Who's gonna step and face us?!"
Jimmy Uso: "How about you fools step up to us?!"
Jey Uso: "And get dealt with!"
Jacob Fatu: "You ain't ripping nothing apart here, homie!"
Sefa Fatu: "Not without going through the 'Samoan Dynasty!'"
Crowe: "Oh, okay! So, you four wanna get beat down?! We got you! I'll put four of my guys up against you four right now!"
Jimmy Uso: "Let's do it, bruh!"
Jessicka Havok: "Crowe, me and Neveah want a piece of this action!"
Crowe: "All right, ladies. It's going to be Havok and Neveah teaming with Madman and Crimson! See how you like those odds, uce!"
Regal: "Wow! It looks like we have an impromptu eight-person tag team match!"
Match One ~ "OI4K (Ohio is 4 Killers)" ("Death Machine" Jessicka Havok, "Killer Queen" Neveah, Madman Fulton, & Crimson with Solomon Crowe, Jake Crist, Dave Crist, Jon Moxley, & Matt Cross) vs. "Samoan Dynasty" (Jimmy Uso, Jey Uso, Jacob Fatu, & Sefa Fatu)
This was a frenetic match from the opening bell. The Samoans were cooking for much of the battle, but the rogue group are as tough as nails. Havok and Neveah held their own against the men in this one as well. Ultimately, the numbers game caught up to the Pacific islanders. Jon Moxley snuck a punch in on Sefa Fatu, who then staggered into a "Choke Bomb" by Madman Fultan.
Winners = "OI4K" by pinfall in 8:39
Regal: "That was a blatant cheapshot by Jon Moxley on Sefa Fatu!"
Ranallo: "A great match was marred by controversy!"
Cornette: "They say all's fair in love and war, but that was some pretty obvious outside interference!"
Regal: "Fans, let's take a break. We'll be back with more action in just a moment!"
Regal: "We're back! We never got to finish the opening of our program, as the previous match emanated before our eyes. Britt Baker and Alexa Bliss will go at it tonight, as well as WALTER defending the Heavyweight Championship against Pete Dunne in our main event! Plus, Jordan Richards has demanded a summit with CM Punk concerning the never-ending war between 'The Richards Collective' and 'Allied Powers!' Let's go back to the ring!"
Match Two ~ Dr. Britt Baker, DMD vs. "The Goddess" Alexa Bliss
Right before the bell rang, this video played:
Mid-Atlantic Champion Shotzi Blakkhartt came to ringside with a microphone.
Shotzi Blakkhartt: "Hey, wait just a minute! You mean to tell me you two chicks are going to have all the fun by yourself?! I don't think so! The ballsy bada** wants in one this!"
Bliss pointed at the Mid-Atlantic Championship belt and then did the universal "title belt" motion around her waist.
Blakkhartt: "Oh, you want me to put my title on the line in a 'Triple Threat?!' Fine! Let's do it, bi****s!"
Match Two ~ NWA: Show Time Mid-Atlantic Championship ~ "Triple Threat" match ~ Shotzi Blakkhartt vs. "The Goddess" Alexa Bliss vs. Dr. Britt Baker, DMD
Bliss focused most of her attention on Baker after she and Britt eliminated Shotzi from the ring for a time. Alexa wanted revenge for the "Super Kick" that cost her the Mid-Atlantic Title last week. Bliss took the fight to Britt. Shotzi rejoined the fray after a while and they all three took turns spoiling pinfall attempts. Shotzi hit a "Super Kick" on Bliss, but was hit with a "Super Kick" by Baker that knocked her out of the ring. Baker readied for another "Super Kick" on Bliss, who ducked. She kicked Baker in the gut and nailed a "DDT." She went to the top rope and hit "Twisted Bliss" for the pin before Shotzi could make the save.
Winner and NEW NWA: Show Time Mid-Atlantic Champion = Alexa Bliss by pinfall in 7:46
Regal: "Alexa Bliss has done it! She's the first woman to win two championships in this company!"
Ranallo: "'The Goddess' has done it again! She's a two-time singles champion!"
Cornette: "Alexa Bliss has proven her worth once again! She took out two strong competitors in Britt Baker and Shotzi Blakkhartt!"
Regal: "Fans, let's take another commercial break. When we return, Jordan Richards and CM Punk will have a face-to-face confrontation moderated by Commissioner Ric Flair!"
Regal: "We're back and it's summit time! Let's go to JoJo Offerman with the call inside the ring!"
JoJo Offerman: "Ladies and gentlemen, Commissioner Ric Flair."
Flair came out to a mixed reaction.
Ric Flair: "Woooo! It's good to be back in the house tonight! The Commissioner has been busy at the corporate offices, but I am live and in living color on the Show Time Power Hour! I am the official moderator for a summit between the founder, owner, and CEO of this company, Jordan Richards, and the de facto leader of 'Allied Powers,' CM Punk. Without further adieu, let's get our principles out to the ring!"
"Ladies and Gentlemen" by Saliva played to bring out CEO Jordan Richards to a chorus of boos.
"Cult of Personality" brought out Punk to a roar.
Flair: "All right. The purpose of this summit is to try and reach a cease fire in this ongoing war between 'The Richards Collective' and 'Allied Powers.' All right, gentlemen. Please state your main points of contingency. I'll start with CM Punk."
CM Punk: "The problem is that Jordan Richards makes it his life's mission to hold down and harass anyone who opposes him or his little collection of henchmen!"
Flair: "Jordan, your rebuttal."
Jordan Richards: "First of all, I own this company. Why on earth would I feel the need to 'hold down' and 'harass' anyone who works for me? I'm already the boss. I make all the decisions and the talent plays by my rules. Furthermore, the problem I have with you specifically is that you betrayed me years ago. I don't take kindly to being stabbed in the back."
Punk: "I betrayed you?! How about you skimming my contract and taking extras when I was doing all the work?!"
Richards: "Erroneous and slanderous."
Punk: "Yeah, right!"
Flair: "All right, gentlemen. It's clear you two do not see eye to eye. What is it that each of you want? Let's see if we can compromise?"
Richards: "I want 'Allied Powers' to disband."
Punk: "Of course he does. I want Jordan Richards to leave 'Allied Powers' alone and let us compete on a level playing field. Stop stacking the deck in your group's favor!"
Richards: "Your opinion of how I run my company is irrelevant to me. Whatever perks I may or may not give to 'The Richards Collective' is my business."
Punk: "Not when your perks directly affect my ability to make a competitive living."
Richards: "So, it's all about you, is it? Par for the course."
Punk: "It's about me and those guys who know how unfairly you treat anyone not in your group! I wouldn't have 'Allied Powers' if it was all about me!"
Flair: "What's it going to take to end this conflict once and for all?"
Richards: "If he disbands 'Allied Powers' and stops with the constant interference in matches that involve 'The Richards Collective.'"
Punk: "You don't ask for much, do you? I'll tell you what. Why don't you earn the right to disband 'Allied Powers' and shut me up once and for all?"
Richards: "Earn the right? What's that supposed to mean?"
Punk: "Me and you, in the ring. You win, we disband and I ride off into the sunset."
Richards: "Whoa, whoa, whoa! Wait a minute! I've been retired for years! I have no intention of stepping back into the ring again!"
Punk: "Fine, then our two factions will have the match. All of us in one match. Me, WALTER, Kota, Braun, Riddle, and Alexa, versus Brock, Cole, Roode, Storm, Aldis, and Ricochet."
Richards: "I can live with that."
Punk: "If you win, we disband and the war is over. But, what do we get when we win?"
Richards: "When you win?! Hardly! What are you looking to get?"
Punk: "Control of this company! If we win, I become CEO!"
Richards: "Not a chance!"
Flair: "If I may have a sidebar, Mr. Richards."
Flair and Richards stepped off to the side and had a fairly quick conversation.
Richards: "All right. I agree to the terms."
Punk: "Seriously?! Your company is as good as mine!"
Richards: "Not so fast! Let's talk about the match itself! First of all, it will be elimination style, so that no one can claim a fluke victory. Second of all, if I am putting up my company, you're putting up your career. When 'The Richards Collective' wins, not only will 'Allied Powers' disband, but CM Punk must retire from the sport of professional wrestling forever! No mystery comebacks under a mask! No contractual technicalities. No working for another organization! We win, you're done for good, period!"
Punk: "Now, who's asking for a lot. You've tried to get rid of me for years. You just don't give up. Fine. I'll agree to the stipulation. Is that it?!"
Richards: "Not quite. The match will happen at NWA Great American Bash on July seventh. And, there's just one more thing. A match of this magnitude cannot have any stones left unturned. There must be a qualified official to referee the match, one who can handle the pressure of the situation. After advisement from Commissioner Flair, I've decided that the special guest referee for this match will be none other than...Ric Flair!"
Punk: "What?! How is that fair?!"
Richards: "Ric Flair is an honorable man who will call it right down the middle! Right, Naitch?"
Flair: "You got it, boss! Woooo!"
Punk: "You know what?! Let Ric Flair referee the match! We'll still win! We'll defy all odds! Now, I have one final request and then I'm done."
Richards: "What now?!"
Punk: "We call a truce from now until the night of the match. That includes tonight. I want no interference in WALTER's match against Pete Dunne tonight."
Richards: "I'll agree to the truce. No one from either group is to touch until July seventh."
The parties left the ring.
Regal: "Wow! What an announcement! A true winner takes all scenario will occur on July seventh at 'Great American Bash!' Fans, we need to take a quick break. We'll have our huge main event next!"
Regal: "We're back and it's time to go to the ring!"
Match Three ~ NWA: Show Time Heavyweight Championship ~ "Ring General" WALTER vs. "Bruiserweight" Pete Dunne
Winner and STILL NWA: Show Time Heavyweight Champion = WALTER by pinfall in 28:33
Regal: "WALTER has defeated Pete Dunne in an instant classic! Fans, we're completely out of time. Please join us again next Tuesday on TBS for more of the Show Time Power Hour! And, please log on to www.nwashowtime.com for After Buzz with Cathy Kelley immediately following our broadcast! For Mauro Ranallo and Jim Cornette, I'm William Regal, saying ta ta for now!"
NWA: Show Time After Buzz with Cathy Kelley aired as normal.
Kelley could not contain her excitement at the prospect of the first announced Great American Bash match. She went on and on about how this match represented a changing of the guard, one way or another. "Things will be altered forever in the fabric of NWA: Show Time." With that, Kelley signed off.
