William Regal: "Ladies and gentlemen, welcome to the finest sixty minutes of pro wrestling in the world, the Show Time Power Hour! I'm your host, William Regal. With me are Mauro Ranallo and Jim Cornette! Men, what an episode we have tonight!"
Mauro Ranallo: "Momma Mia, do we ever! WALTER will defend the Heavyweight Championship against Zack Sabre, Jr. in the main event!"
Jim Cornette: "Yeah, but before that, my boys get some sweet revenge against 'The Insurgence!' Dash is back, baby!"
Regal: "Indeed he is! Also on the program, Shotzi Blakkhartt is here to answer the challenge of Alexa Bliss, and 'OI4K' will once again battle 'The New Face of Fear' in a return match from last week, but this time, it's a six-man tag team match! Fans, let's get this hour started!"
Match One ~ "The New Face of Fear" (Killian Dain, Alexander Wolfe, & Erick Rowan) vs. "Ohio is 4 Killers" (Solomon Crowe, Crimson, & Madman Fulton with "Death Machine" Jessicka Havok & "Killer Queen" Neveah)
This one was wild and wooly from the start. The referee threatened to throw out the match two weeks in a row, but relented. We had some semblance of a six-man match, but it was hard-hitting and the violence never let up. In the end, Madman Fulton hit an massive "Chokebomb" on Wolfe and Crowe followed up with a "Diving Headbutt" for the pinfall.
Winners = "Ohio is 4 Killers" by pinfall in 13:29
Regal: "Another impressive showing for 'OI4K!' This group is for real!"
Ranallo: "Are you kidding me?! Carnage and destruction are the order of the day for 'OI4K!'"
Cornette: "That Madman Fulton is one big dude! Powerful too! When this group is organized, they can be deadly!"
Regal: "We'll be back after the break! Stay with us fro more action!"
Regal: "We're back! Fans, Vanessa Craft is backstage with the Television Champion Killer Kross and his companion Scarlett Bordeaux. Let's see what they have to say."
Vanessa Craft: "I am here with 'Killer Smoke Show.' So far as the Television Champion, you've withstood the challenge of former champion Matt Riddle. What's your next goal to accomplish?"
Killer Kross: "A man like me does not set goals to attain, for I am a success at everything I attempt. A man like me sets new targets to take out. My next target is yet to be determined."
Craft: You've yet to be pinned or submitted since joining NWA: Show Time. What are some long term plans you might have?"
Kross: "My plan is simple...to eradicate every target in front of me along my path of destruction. Now, if those targets happen to include other champions, so be it."
Craft: "So, you may target, say, the Heavyweight Champion WALTER in the future?"
Kross: "If fate deems it so, then yes."
Craft: "Where does this beautiful young lady fit into all that?"
Kross: "I'll let the beautiful and intelligent young lady answer for herself."
Scarlett Bordeaux: "Where do I fit into all this? I'm the centerpiece, honey. I am the 'Smoke Show' of NWA: Show Time. I am one Killer Kross maims for. If I want it, he gets it. I wanted the Television Championship and he got it. If I want the Heavyweight Championship, he'll get it. I determine our next targets."
Craft: "Who might that be?"
Bordeaux: "You'll know when they do."
The duo walked away slowly.
Regal: "Well then. It looks like Scarlett Bordeaux is the guiding light behind the mercenary Killer Kross."
Ranallo: "You aren't kidding! If that devious little lady is calling the shots, anyone could be a target!"
Regal: "I agree. Fans, we've given Jim Cornette his leave, so it's time for the grudge tag team match we've been waiting for! Dash wilder is healthy again, and he and Scott Dawson want to get their hands on Kevin Steen and Claudio Castagnoli in the worst way! Let's go back to the ring!"
Match Two ~ "The Revival" (Scott Dawson & Dash Wilder) with Jim Cornette vs. "The Insurgence" (Kevin Steen & Claudio Castagnoli)
This was Dash's first true chance to get his hands on Steen and Claudio for their backstabbing ways. Wilder was on fire in the opening stages of the battle, really taking it to his opponents. Eventually, Dash fell victim to the wiles of Kevin and Claudio. They punished him and his shoulder for several minutes. he finally tagged in Dawson, who was a house of fire. He dropped Steen and Castagnoli with multiple right hands. The momentum shifted big time, allowing Dash and Dawson to dispatch Steen on the floor and level Claudio with "Shatter Machine." As they went for the cover, Kevin reached in and pulled the referee out of the ring. This prompted an immediate DQ.
Winners = "The Revival" by disqualification in 20:20
Regal: "That was a cheap disqualification!"
Ranallo: "Kevin Steen literally saved Claudio Castagnoli from a pinfall, knowing that his team would be disqualified!"
Regal: " Jim Cornette is fit to be tied! I hope our censors have their buttons ready! He's shouting expletives at ringside! We'd better go to break and restore order. Be back in a few moments!"
Regal: "We're back! Jim Cornette is backstage with Vanessa Craft and he is still hopping mad. Let's see what he has to say."
Craft: "I'm here with..."
Cornette: "Pardon me, Vanessa, but I need to take over right now! That match was a travesty! We had Steen and Castagnoli beat in the middle of the ring and they got themselves disqualified on purpose to save their sorry tails! I won't stand for it and 'The Revival' won't stand for it! So, this is what I am proposing to the match makers of this company! Let's take this thing as old school as it gets! There is one match that 'The Midnight Express' made famous! It was held at Starrcades and Great American Bashes! It's one of the most dangerous matches ever devised, and it's the one that blew out my knee! That's right! I'm talking about a 'Scaffold' match! You two clowns need your comeuppance, so I say we put you twenty feet above the ring with the greatest tag team in the world and settle it!"
Cornette then stormed off in the direction of Commissioner Ric Flair's office.
Craft: "You heard it here. Back to you, William."
Regal: "A 'Scaffold' match?! Oh my!"
Ranallo: "Momma Mia!"
Regal: "Wow! Shifting gears, it seems that Shotzi Blakkhartt has finally given a response to the Mid-Atlantic Championship match that she was challenged to by Alexa Bliss. Let's here these comments."
The scene shifted to a pre-recorded video from Shotzi Blakkhartt.
Shotzi Blakkhartt: "So, it seems that little Miss Bliss has finally grown a pair and has challenged me for this (she pointed to the Mid-Atlantic Championship on her shoulder). Well, you made a huge mistake challenging me, Alexa. And, you insinuated that I'm not every bit as ballsy as I claim to be! Well, it's time for someone to finally shut you up! I accept your challenge and I'll put this title on the line against you next week!"
Regal: "Well then, we'll have an all women's Mid-Atlantic Championship match next week! That should be something! All right, fans. Our main event is next, and it should be a doozy! WALTER defends the Heavyweight Championship against British submission specialist Zack Sabre, Jr.!"
Match Three ~ NWA: Show Time Heavyweight Championship ~ "Ring General" WALTER vs. Zack Sabre, Jr. with Joanna Rose
Sabre used his speed and athleticism to help himself early. he attempted several submissions, but WALTER was simply too strong to be captured. Sabre became frustrated and made a couple of mistakes that allowed the champion to compromise. WALTER punished Sabre with his trademark chops, beating the challenger's chest into what resembled raw hamburger. Joanna Rose provided Sabre with a big assist, as she distracted WALTER and Sabre capitalized. Not long after, the crowd erupted as Alexa Bliss came to ringside.
She eyed WALTER as if to say she had his back as she approached ringside.
Bliss then engaged in a war of words with Rose.
The important point was that she kept her at bay for the rest of the match. WALTEr had the upper hand in the end. But, before he could put the challenger away, Brock Lesnar ran down to the ring and unloaded on both men.
Winner = no contest in 18:12 (WALTER retains)
Lesnar dropped Sabre out of the ring after a thunderous "German Suplex." he then picked up WALTER for an "F-5." The champion slid out and nailed Lesnar with a huge chop as he turned around. Suddenly, the ring was filled with "The Richards Collective." The rest of "Allied Powers" followed suit soon after. It was a giant brawl to end the segment.
Regal: "Fans, I can't believe the scene out here right now! This is utter chaos! These two factions are out for blood! Something has to give! Oh my! We're out of time. We'll stay with it as long as we can. Please join us again next Tuesday on TBS for more of the Show Time Power Hour! Don't forget to log onto www.nwashowtime.com to see After Buzz with Cathy Kelley immediately following our broadcast! For Mauro Ranallo and Jim Cornette, I'm William Regal, saying ta ta for now!"
NWA: Show Time After Buzz with Cathy Kelley aired as normal.
Kelley was enthralled at the rivalry between "Allied Powers" and "The Richards Collective." She went into great detail breaking down the history that has led to the present. It was a fascinating journey. Kelley closed with, "They say only two things are certain--death and taxes. I'd like to add a third. None of these superstars will ever be the same when the smoke finally clears." With that, Kelley signed off.
