Before the Femme Fatales traditional opening aired, the scene was backstage. Dakota Kai, Nixon Newell, and Alexia Nicole entered the building.
Dakota Kai: "Look, I'm not going to talk about it anymore. You've been costing me matches recently, either accidentally or otherwise. We're out of sync. But, we need to get back on track, and that starts tonight! Look, I'm going to the GM or the Commissioner or whoever will listen to me and I am going to demand a Tag Team Championship rematch on this show!"
Nixon Newell: "Fine. We'll go with you."
Kai: "Whatever. Just don't get in the way."
Just then, Tessa Blanchard and Jordynne Grace walked into view.
Tessa Blanchard: "So, you're going to demand a Tag Team Title match here tonight?!"
Kai: "Yeah! What of it?!"
Jordynne Grace: "Do you really think you deserve it?! I mean, you and Alexia here have yet to win a match together! You couldn't even beat 'The Hive' last week with Nixon on your team! And, we smoked them a couple of weeks ago!"
Blanchard: "If anyone deserves a title shot, it's us!"
Kai: "Is that so?! Well then, why don't you prove it in a match against us tonight?! The winner will more than prove they deserve a title shot!"
Blanchard: "You're on!"
"Impact Players" walked away smiling.
Alexia Nicole: "Why would you do that?! We get an automatic rematch as the last champions. Why would you risk that?!"
Kai: "Listen, I've got this under control! Besides, Jordynne was right. We haven't won a match together yet. You need to prove you're championship material!"
Nicole: "What's that supposed to mean?! You're the one who keeps getting pinned!"
Kai: "Because someone keeps screwing it up!"
Nixon Newell: "Hold on! We can't keep arguing. Dakota, you're right. We all have to get back on the same page. This match will do just that. You'll go out there and beat those two posers and prove you deserve that title shot. Then, you'll go on to beat 'The IIconics' and bring the titles back home. You got this!"
A 200th episode retrospective served as the episode opening at that point.
Madusa Miceli: "Ladies and gentlemen, for the two-hundredth consecutive week, welcome to the hottest hour on television, Femme Fatales! I'm your hostess, Madusa. With me from the beginning have been my two chicas, Renee Young and Melissa Santos! Girls, this is it! We have finally arrived at episode two hundred! And, man what a night we have lined up!"
Renee Young: "Duce, you aren't kidding! We have a huge 'War Games' match in our main event, as both 'Four Horsewomen' factions fight it out for the right to keep the name!"
Melissa Santos: "And, 'Team Bestie' will climb back into the ring to challenge 'Sky Pirates' for the Women's World Tag Team Championship!"
Miceli: "Plus, as you saw before the program opened tonight, Dakota Kai and Alexia Nicole challenged 'Impact Players' to a 'Number One Contenders' match! That was signed officially by Commissioner Aikawa and it's going to start off the night! Let's go to the ring!"
Match One ~ "Number One Contenders" match ~ "Team Kick" (Dakota Kai & Alexia Nicole) vs. "Impact Players" (Tessa Blanchard & Jordynne Grace)
Alexia Nicole, eager to prove herself, began the match against Jordynne Grace. They jockeyed for position and had a few tests of strength.
That ended in a virtual stalemate, though Grace seems the stronger of the two. Kai and Blanchard had their moments of hostility, as they engaged in a scintillating chop battle. Ultimately, Nicole spent time on defense, as Blanchard and Grace worked her over. Nicole finally got a tag in to Kai, who took control with a multitude of her patented kicks. She looked to have all the momentum. Suddenly, "The Hive" appeared from the back and demolished both teams.
Winners = no contest in 8:22
Kai, Nicole, Blanchard, and Grace fought back, but the numbers game was getting the best of them. Nixon Newell came dashing to the ring with a roar from the crowd. She began to clean house, then the other four were able to help fight off Rosemary and company. During the fray, Newell and Kai backed into each other. On instinct, Newell whipped around with a right hand that decked her best friend. Nixon immediately realized what she did and dropped down to pick Kai up off the mat. She apologized profusely, but Kai was clearly upset. After the scene calmed down, "Fly Kicks" and "Impact Players" showed respect and left the ring.
Miceli: "What a match to start the night! It's a crying shame it had to be ruined by 'The Hive!'"
Young: "Yep. Fortunately, Nixon Newell was there to help. But, she and Dakota did get tangled up."
Santos: "That might help the situation, especially if they're all trying to get back on the same page."
Miceli: "All right, fans. We need to take a break. When we return, we'll have the World Tag Team Title match! Don't go anywhere!"
Miceli: "We're back! Fans, we saw Trish Stratus and Amy Dumas come out a few weeks back and challenge Kairi Hojo and Io Shirai for the World Tag Team Championship! That match was signed on the spot by GM Karlee Perez and we've been hotly anticipating it ever since! 'Sky Pirates' have been traveling the globe, defending those titles. They're here and ready for action! 'Team Bestie' has been training hard at the 'Show Time Dojo' in preparation for the match. Let's show a video of their sessions."
A video of several training sessions between Trish Stratus and Amy Dumas aired. This only served to whet the fans' appetites for the match that was to come.
Miceli: "Trish and Amy are standing by with Charly Caruso right now! Charly, whatcha got?!"
Charly Caruso: "I am here with Trish Stratus and Amy Dumas, collectively known as 'Team Bestie.' They have been trainers since day one in this company and they are legends in the sport. Tonight, they will come out of retirement to challenge Kairi Hojo and Io Shirai for the NWA World Tag Team Championship. Ladies, what's going through your minds right now?"
Trish Stratus: "Charly, we are so excited to be in this position. We never had the opportunity to wrestle for women's tag team championships in our heyday. But, tonight's is as good a night as any. We're ready"
Amy Dumas: "History is being made tonight because of the two hundredth episode of Femme Fatales. Why not make some more history? When we win those titles, we'll cement our legacy as a team."
Caruso: "We saw that you have been training hard for this match, while the champions have been touring the world defending them. Does that give you an advantage?"
Dumas: "I think so. We've been laser focused for the last three or four weeks. We've been focused on one match, while they've had to worry about many matches."
Stratus: "Exactly. Now, some might say that we are at a disadvantage because Kairi and Io do this every day and we haven't done it full-time in years. But, we're in great shape and we're fresh. And, you know what they say? We might not be as good as we once were, but we'll be as good once as we ever were."
Caruso: "Duce, back to you."
Miceli: "It's time for my girls to show the world they've still got it! Let's go back to the ring!"
Match Two ~ NWA Women's World Tag Team Championship ~ "Sky Pirates" ("Ōjo Kaizoku" Kairi Hojo & "Genius of the Sky" Io Shirai) with Manami Toyota vs. "Team Bestie" (Trish Stratus & Amy Dumas)
This was a match that waxed nostalgic. Hojo and Shirai are beloved, but Stratus and Dumas were the crowd's sentimental favorites for sure. They turned back the clock for most of this match. Stratus was right when she contended that they could summon their best selves for one night. They came to fight and fight they did. Hojo and Shirai are considered the two finest women's wrestlers on earth and they were in for the match of their lives in Charlotte, NC. The crowd was on its feet for the entire match, bell-to-bell. Ultimately, they came up short, as Hojo and Shirai were able to thwart the challenge. The match ended after Shirai hit an "Asai Moonsault" to take out Stratus and Kairi nailed the "Diving Elbow Drop" on Dumas for the pin.
Winners and STILL NWA Women's World Tag Team Champions = "Sky Pirates" by pinfall in 13:01
Miceli: "What a match!"
Young: "Trish Stratus and Amy Dumas gave the performance of their lives tonight! Even in a loss, they proved they're two of the best ever!"
Santos: "The crowd is one its feet! They are paying homage to 'Team Bestie' for a fantastic match!"
The two teams met in center ring for a show of respect and a double hug to a massive applause from the fans.
Miceli: "What a scene! Fans, 'War Games' is next! After the break, the cage will drop! We'll be back in three minutes!"
Miceli: "We're back! It's main event time! 'War Games' will decide which group is 'The Four Horsewomen' when it's all said and done!"
The cage dropped from the ceiling and surrounded the two side-by-side rings. The fans were rumbling as the lights went down.
Match Three ~ "War Games" ~ "The Four Horsewomen" (Charlotte Flair, "The Man" Becky Lynch, "Money in the Bank" Mercedes KV, & Bayley Rose) vs. "The Four Horsewomen of MMA" ("Rowdy" Ronda Rousey, "Queen of Spades" Shayna Baszler, "Supernova from Moldova" Marina Shafir, & Jessamyn "The Gun" Duke)
Mercedes KV began against Baszler for the first five minutes. They went back and forth. Baszler attempted her joint manipulation, while KV used her wrestling acumen to keep her at bay. Since we already knew Rousey and company would have the advantage throughout, Jessamyn Duke joined the match next. She and Shayna worked KV over for the full two-minute period. Becky Lynch was next in. She went off on her two opponents while KV recovered. Once she was overtaken, KV came to the rescue with a "Flying Bodypress" from one ring into another. Marina Shafir was in next. She opened a cut over KV's left eye with a series of elbows. Lynch was then lacerated as well after a double toss headfirst into the cruel steel mesh. Charlotte Flair came in next and had some "Yakuza Kicks" for her opponents. She then went after Duke with a "Chop Block." Ronda Rousey came in last for her team. She was vicious. Ronda nailed Charlotte and went after her with weighted gloves. Charlotte began to bleed profusely. Flair and friends looked the worse for wear, all bleeding and weary. Bayley Rose came in to make the match official. She immediately looked to draw blood, throwing every opponent into the steel structure. Mission accomplished. Everyone but Bayley wore crimson masks by this time. Bayley herself was bleeding from the arm after Baszler wrapped it around an exposed turnbuckle. The scene looked like something out of a medieval war flick. All eight ladies stood staring at one another, seething as the life giving fluid flowed from their wounds. A massive brawl then broke out as the fans shouted, "This is awesome!" Duke was separated from the pack. She ate a "Bayley-to-Belly." KV then jumped on her and wrenched her head backward in the "Bank Statement." Rousey was tied in the ropes. Shafir and Baszler were taken out by Flair and Bayley. Lynch ran over and grabbed "DisArm Her" on Duke while KV still had the "Bank Statement" applied. Duke howled in pain. She couldn't move or fight any longer. Jessamyn had no choice but to scream a submission.
Winners = "The Four Horsewomen" by submission in 29:33
Miceli: "That's it! Jessamyn Duke had to give it up!"
Young: "The MMA girls can no longer use 'The Four Horsewomen' name! That's it!"
Santos: "What a fight! This place looks like a war zone!"
Miceli: "Oh my goodness! What a night we've had! This has been every bit the historic night we hoped it would be! That's two hundred episodes in the books! Fans, please join us again next Thursday on TNT for more Femme Fatales, as the train keep running down the tracks! For Renee Young and Melissa Santos, I'm Madusa! Keep on rockin' and rollin'!"
