William Regal: "Ladies and gentlemen, welcome to the finest sixty minutes of pro wrestling in the world, the Show Time Power Hour! I'm your host, William Regal. With me are Mauro Ranallo and Jim Cornette! Men, last week we saw a new super group, 'Allied Powers,' form determined to vanquish 'The Richards Collective.' In the main event, they struck the first blow by winning the freedom of AJ Lee, who had signed with them over a year ago and then was held hostage while she watched her husband CM Punk be tortured at the hands of Jordan Richards and his handpicked assault squad! Now, AJ is back where she belongs!"
Mauro Ranallo: "William, truer words have never been spoken! The emotional reunion of husband and wife on our program was a touching moment for the fans!"
Jim Cornette: "Are we just going to sit here, hold hands, and sing 'Kumbaya,' or are we going to talk about pro wrestling?! My men are going to get some more revenge tonight! Let's talk about that!"
Regal: "Indeed, Jim. 'The Revival' will face 'The Insurgence' on the program. That should be a dandy of a fight! Also, Bray Wyatt will defend the Mid-Atlantic Championship in an open challenge! The Usos have an announcement to make! We've been promised on social media to receive an 'OI4K' sighting during the hour! Our main event will see Braun Strowman do battle with Matt Riddle to determine who will challenge Adam Cole for the World Championship next week on this program! Let's get to it!"
Match One ~ NWA: Show Time Mid-Atlantic Championship ~ "Open Challenge" match ~ "Eater of Worlds" Bray Wyatt with "Spirit of Abigail" Maria Kanellis vs. ?
Bray came down with a sinister grin on his face as he displayed the Mid-Atlantic Championship. He awaited the entrance theme of the brave opponent who would face him.
Regal: "What?! Shotzi Blakkhartt?!"
Shotzi came stalking intently to the ring. She was joined by friend and partner Jay Lethal as well as the 'Hoopla Hotties." Bray laughed maniacally, but shook his head in approval. Bray dominated the match, as one might expect. Shotzi got in a few shots, but was cut off each time. bray went for his fearsome "Running Crossbody Press," but Shotzi ducked and Wyatt clipped the referee. The referee went sprawling across the ring and was down for the count. Bray hit "Sister Abigail," but got no count. Lethal looked to interfere, but was stopped by Maria, who grabbed his leg. At that moment, this entrance video played on the tron:
"OI4K" hit the ring and destroyed Bray. Crowe hit a "Spike Piledriver" and was assisted by Jessicka Havok and Neveah. Crimson, Neveah, and Havok kicked Killian Dain, Alexander Wolfe, and Erick Rowan away from the ring while Crowe dragged Shotzi's lifeless body onto Bray. "OI4K" then took out Jay Lethal and fought "The New Face of Fear" outside the ring. The referee roused to see the pin in the ring.
Winner and NEW NWA: Show Time Mid-Atlantic Champion = Shotzi Blakkhartt by pinfall in 8:37
(Shotzi later posed for a photo shoot with the title belt)
Regal: "Shotzi Blakkhartt has just won the Mid-Atlantic Championship after a surprise attack from 'OI4K!'"
Ranallo: "Why would they help her win?! She has no affiliation with them!"
Cornette: "I don't know if their intent was so much to help Shotzi or to cause mass chaos! Remember, they took out Jay Lethal too! There seems to be no rhyme or reason to 'OI4K' and their attacks so far!"
Regal: "Whatever the case, they've done a number on Bray Wyatt, who is motionless inside the ring as trainers are taking a look at him!"
Inside the ring, Bray was being placed on a backboard and loaded onto a stretcher.
Regal: "Fans, let's take a break while Bray Wyatt is being taken away by medical personnel. We'll be back with an update shortly."
Regal: "Fans, we're back. During the commercial break, medical staff attempted to load Bray Wyatt onto an ambulance and transport him to a local medical facility. His henchmen would not allow it and took possession of him per the demands of Maria Kanellis. They took him off the stretcher and walked away with him, still unresponsive."
Ranallo: "For his own safety, Bray Wyatt needs to be checked out by medical personnel!"
Cornette: "That is a weird bunch! They may take Bray Wyatt to some backwoods medicine man, for all we know!"
regal: "It's time to shift gears! Vanessa Craft is backstage and ready to hand the microphone over to the Usos, who have requested time to make an announcement! Vanessa, take it away!"
Vanessa Craft: "Thank you, William. Ladies and gentlemen, Jimmy and Jey Uso."
The Usos stepped into the frame.
Craft: "Gentlemen, you have requested this time to make an announcement. The floor is yours."
Jimmy Uso: "Thank you, Vanessa. It's real simple, y'all. The Usos have decided to go back to basics."
Jey Uso: "Yep!"
Jimmy: "We decided we need to mix it up a little bit!"
Jey: "Yep!"
Jimmy: "You see that we're out here without Scott Hall. That's on purpose. We decided to part ways with him as our manager. Now, we still boys, and he'll still gonna be in the background giving advice from time-to-time. But, you won't be seeing him out there with us. Like I said, we need to get back to basics!"
Jey: "Yep! And, what's more basic to us than the uce, baby?!"
Jimmy: "Nuttin!"
Jey: "Yep!"
Jimmy: "You see, we a part of the 'Samoan Dynasty' in professional wrestling! No one family has more people in this business than ours!"
Jey: Yep!"
Jimmy: "So, here's the big announcement! We bringing some of that uce up in NWA: Show Time!"
Jey: "Yep! we about to bring the big uces, our cousins, Jacob and Sefa Fatu, to the Uso Penitentiary!"
Jimmy flashed this photo of Jacob and Sefa Fatu in front of the camera:
Jimmy: "Oh, they gonna be here next week and it's on like neck bones!"
Jey: "Yep!"
Vanessa Craft: "There you have it. Back to you, William."
Regal: "Jacob and Sefa Fatu have been tearing up the independent scene over the last couple of years! We'll see them here next week! Fans, you'll be in for a treat! They literally are cut from the same cloth as their cousins, the Usos! All right, it's now time for that tag team grudge match! Jim Cornette has taken his leave. Let's go back to the ring!"
Match Two ~ "The Revival" (Dash Wilder & Scott Dawson) with Jim Cornette vs. "The Insurgence" (Kevin Steen & Claudio Castagnoli)
Dash and Dawson attempted to make their entrance first, but were attacked at the entrance by Steen and Claudio, who brutalized Dawson by throwing him shoulder first into the ringside barricade. He was out of commission. The trainers came down to ringside to tend to him as Steen and Castagnoli continued their assault on Wilder. After the bell rang, Dash was in no man's land, essentially fighting in a "Handicap" match. He had no one to tag out to. Dawson had been taken to the back. Just when it looked like dash was about done for, Scott Dawson came out of the back with a heavily taped left arm and shoulder. He was being followed by a trainer and Cornette, who was imploring him not to go to the ring. Dawson finally shoved the trainer down and jump onto the apron. Cornette continued to try and convince Dawson not to compete. Scott would have none of it and stretched his right arm out for a tag. Dash used a last ditch effort to free himself and get a tag in. Scott Dawson came in and began to take out Steen and Claudio with one arm, launching punches into each one's face in succession. He was cooking for a couple of minutes, but eventually was overcome. Then, his injured shoulder came into play. Scott Dawson became a victim for several minutes, but would not submit. Dash attempted to interfere several times, but was admonished back to his corner. It looked like Dawson's shoulder would be ripped out of the socket, Dash jumped into the ring and submitted on behalf of his team.
Winners = "The Insurgence" by submission in 19:44
Regal: "The carnage has come to an end as Dash Wilder finally submitted for his team. Scott Dawson would have stayed in that ring until they ripped his arm off!"
Ranallo: "Scott Dawson showed how tough he was tonight! It may be a victory, but it was a hollow one at best, after that pre-match attack!"
Regal: "Fans, we have to take another commercial break. We'll be back with our huge main event next!"
Regal: "Fans, we're back! For Braun Strowman, who's been chasing Adam Cole for months in pursuit of the NWA World Championship that was stolen from him, and Matt Riddle, the former World Junior Champion and NWA: Show Time Television Champion, the rubber meets the road here tonight! They're set to face off and the winner will get that coveted World Championship opportunity here next week on this program! Let's go to the ring!"
Match Three ~ "The Monster Among Men" Braun Strowman with "The Goddess" Alexa Bliss vs. "King of Bros" Matt Riddle
Riddle used his quickness to stick and move against the bigger and stronger Strowman early. Riddle executed leg kicks and other strikes, all while staying out of the big man's grasp. Braun eventually got his hands on Matt and punished him for several minutes. Suddenly, in the middle of the match, this entrance theme played out of nowhere:
Regal: "Nick Aldis?! What's he doing here?!"
"National Treasure" Nick Aldis strolled down to ringside looking dapper. He took a seat at ringside as Braun locked eyes with him. The match went back and forth for several more minutes before both men tumbled through the ropes and to the floor. The referee began to count. As he kept counting, Alexa Bliss inched toward Braun, shouting encouragement to him. The referee turned to admonish Bliss for veering too close to Braun and demanded she move back. As she acquiesced, this distraction gave Aldis time to hit a "Chop Block" onto Strowman's knee, taking him down again. The referee turned around and continued his count just after Aldis stood up and stepped away from Braun. Aldis lifted his hands as if to indicate, "I'm innocent." He backed away as Riddle rolled himself into the ring, unaware of what had transpired. Braun attempted to drag himself into the ring, but could not make the count.
Winner = Matt Riddle by countout in 15:48
Regal: "I don't know what Nick Aldis' angle was, or even why he is here, but he deliberately cost Braun Strowman that match!"
Ranallo: "No question about it! It was either to single out Braun Strowman or to assist Matt Riddle. Nonetheless, Nick Aldis just made a major impact on our main event!"
Regal: "No question about it! Fans, we're all out of time for tonight. Please join us next Tuesday on TBS for more of the Show Time Power Hour and the World Championship match between Adam Cole and Matt Riddle! Don't forget to log onto www.nwashowtime.com to catch After Buzz with Cathy Kelley immediately following our broadcast! For Mauro Ranallo and Jim Cornette, I'm William Regal, saying ta ta for now!"
NWA: Show Time After Buzz with Cathy Kelley aired as normal.
Kelley could not contain herself as she attempted to figure why Nick Aldis is in NWA: Show Time and why he would sabotage Braun Strowman's World Championship opportunity. Kelley conjectured at the possible conspiracy theories: he's in cahoots with Riddle, who seemed oblivious. Or, could it be that Nick Aldis is on the sly with Adam Cole or even Jordan Richards? "Hopefully, we'll find the answers we're looking for next week on the Show Time Power Hour." With that, Kelley signed off.
