William Regal: "Ladies and gentlemen, welcome to the finest sixty minutes of pro wrestling in the world, the Show Time Power Hour!"
Before Regal could continue, a barrage of stars began to fill the ring.
The fans were going ballistic as the five big names entered the ring. They began a "This is awesome!" chant as CM Punk took a microphone.
CM Punk: "Well, well, well. I guess the shoe's on the other foot now, huh Jordan Richards?! I told you last week that you'd screwed with me for the last time and I would take matters into my own hands! Well, this is what that looks like! What you see before you is an array of talent that will finally overtake 'The Richards Collective' once and for all! We are 'Allied Powers!'"
Just then, this music played:
Jordan Richards: "CM Punk, you and your merry band of misfit toys may looks strong together now. And, individually, you all are fantastic talents, I'll admit. But, for years, many a teams and groups have tried and failed to put an end to 'The Richards Collective.' Even Vince McMahon couldn't run us out of town! So, do you honestly think that your little group here can?! I mean seriously, 'Allied Powers?!' What is this, World War II?! If that's the case, Kota and WALTER are partnering with the wrong country! This is laughable!"
Punk: "Laugh all you want, boss! But, why don't you put your money where your mouth is?!"
Richards: "What are you getting at now?!"
Punk: "A match here tonight. Eight-man tag. Four of yours against the four guys in this ring."
Richards: "That's all?! You want a match?! Done! With pleasure!"
Punk: "Hold on now. I wasn't finished. I have a stipulation."
Richards: "Of course you do."
Punk: "Nothing big. Just this. If we win, you let my wife out of bondage to come back to me."
Richards: "What makes you so sure she's in bondage? After all, she left you willingly a year ago and hasn't once tried to leave us."
Punk: "She only keeps quiet because she's afraid there will be repercussions! That's no way to live! So, you seemed confident a minute ago. How about that match?"
Richards: "Fine. I'll sign the match, but I have a condition of my own. When we win the match, AJ stays with us, but we also get Alexa Bliss."
Braun Strowman grabbed the microphone from Punk.
Braun Strowman: "Whoa! You're not going to drag Alexa into this!"
Alexa walked up to Braun and whispered something into his ear. She then took the microphone from him.
Alexa Bliss: "It's no surprise that everyone wants 'The Goddess.' But, I'm not worried. We'll take the deal."
Richards: "Excellent. We'll see you chumps in the main event. Braun, say your goodbyes!"
Regal: "Wow! Well, we didn't get through our normal intro and already we have a huge development right at the top of the hour! Fans, our main event is set! We also have a big 'Mixed Tag Team' match that we'll talk about later. But first, let's go to the ring for our opening contest!"
Match One ~ "The Insurgence" (Kevin Steen & Claudio Castagnoli) vs. "Forgotten Sons" ("Southern Savior" Jon Skyler & "Born Winner" Mike Madden)
This was a pretty evenly fought match initially. Both teams got in some good offense. Eventually, Steen and Claudio took over on Madden. As Mike tried to fight his way out of trouble, he became weaker by the minute. It looked like Steen and Castagnoli would walk away with this one, but Mike slipped them and tagged in a fresh Skyler. Jon went to work on both opponents and had things going his way. He was cut off by some trickery and the villains took over once more. Steen and Castagnoli looked like the victors at this point. Suddenly, "The Revival" hit the ring and began to wail on Steen and Claudio to a massive roar from the crowd. The referee rang the bell.
Winners = no contest in 11:32
Dash and Dawson hit "Shatter Machines" on both Steen and Castagnoli. Jim Cornette left commentary briefly and was shouting instructions at ringside.
Regal: "Well then. They really had that coming to them."
Mauro Ranallo: "You aren't kidding! 'The Revival' has been salivating at the chance to get their hands on Kevin Steen and Claudio Castagnoli for a couple of weeks now!"
Jim Cornette: "You're dang right we've been waiting on this moment! And, we're not done with those snakes either! When we get them in the ring for a real match, Dash and Dawson will beat them like dogs!"
Regal: "Indeed. Fans, we need to take a commercial break. We'll be back with more in just a moment!"
Regal: "We're back! we told you we had a 'Mixed Tag Team' match tonight, and we do! It's next, in fact. But, let's set it up. A few weeks ago, Killer Kross captured the Television Championship from Matt Riddle after assistance from Scarlett Bordeaux. Flash forward to last week, when Riddle got his rematch. Matt brought his wife Lisa along to neutralize Scarlett. She did, for the most part, but Scarlett was able to introduce a shoe into the proceedings that the referee thought was used as a weapon by Riddle, thus causing a disqualification. Well, Matt went to the matchmaking committee and petitioned for this 'Mixed Tag Team' affair. We have a special video sent in by the Riddles from their home."
A video aired from earlier today, where Interviewer Vanessa Craft went on location in downtown Charlotte, NC, at the loft of Matt and Lisa Riddle, who were celebrating the making of the match for tonight.
Vanessa Craft: "I am here at the home of Matt and Lisa Riddle, who will compete for the first time as a team tonight. Guys, what are your thoughts?"
Matt Riddle: "Bro! My hot wife Lisa and I are standing in the living room of our downtown Charlotte apartment. We decided to get all dressed up just for this video because we have a lot to celebrate, right babe?"
Lisa Riddle: "Oh yeah! Tonight on the Show Time Power Hour, we've got Killer Kross and that little tramp Scarlett Bordeaux in a 'Mixed Tag Team' match! Scarlett, I know you think I'm nothing more than just a trainee, but I've been in the ring before and I've also learned a thing or two from the 'King of Bros!'"
Matt Riddle: "So, I hope you've done some training of your own, Scarlett. Wifey's pretty good. And Killer Kross, I'm either choking you out or tapping you out! See you tonight, bros!"
Regal: "It looks as if the Riddle household is ready to fight! Let go to the ring!"
Match Two ~ "Mixed Tag Team" match ~ "Killer Smoke Show" (Killer Kross & "Smoke Show" Scarlett Bordeaux) vs. "King of Bros" Matt Riddle & Lisa Riddle
Scarlett did her best to stay out of the match. Every time Matt Riddle tagged in his wife, Scarlett almost immediately tagged herself back out of the match. At one point, Lisa Riddle grew so frustrated that she tried to engage Killer Kross himself (a violation of "Mixed Tag team" match rules). Matt had to restrain her back to the corner. When he did, Killer Kross took the opportunity to sneak attack. He jumped Matt from behind and began to work him over. Killer manhandled Riddle for quite some time. Matt began to gain his second wind and started his comeback. He finally got the tag into his wife, who sprinted across the ring and dragged Scarlett into the ring, wailing on her with kicks and strikes. Kross tried to interfere, but he was taken out by Matt. Lisa snapped off a head kick that floored Scarlett. She then locked in her husband's signature "Bromission." Scarlett was in center ring and tapped out after a few seconds of agony.
Winners = Matt & Lisa Riddle by submission in 9:19
Regal: "What an impressive showing for the Riddle family!"
Ranallo: "Momma Mia! Lisa Riddle displayed some real MMA and wrestling chops!"
Cornette: "I'll have to hand it to Lisa Riddle. She's no ordinary trainee. Years of gymnastics and sitting under the MMA learning tree of her husband has served her well."
Regal: "It certainly appears so! Fans, we have to take another break. When we return, that huge eight-man main event is on tap! Stay with us!"
Regal: "We're back! All the talking has been done and now it's time to fight! A potential career-changing stipulation will affect one of two ladies at the end of the night! Will it be AJ Lee or Alexa Bliss who will have a change of address?! Let's find out!"
Match Three ~ "The Richards Collective" ("The Beast" Brock Lesnar, "The One & Only" Ricochet, "Glorious" Bobby Roode, & "Outlaw" James Storm with Eve Torres, AJ Lee, and Maryse Ouellet) vs. "Allied Powers" (CM Punk, "Ring General" WALTER, Kota Ibushi, & "The Monster Among Men" Braun Strowman with "The Goddess" Alexa Bliss)
This was a straight up fight from the opening bell. The action was intense and fast paced. No team had the clear advantage throughout. There were many ebbs and flows, momentum switches, and moments of high drama, it was difficult to keep. The key event was near the end. The referee was inadvertently struck down. Ricochet jumped off the apron and grabbed a steel chair from ringside. Presuming to use it against his opponents, he jumped back onto the apron and began to enter the ring. AJ Lee grabbed his leg and stopped him. She yelled at the shocked Ricochet, "If you can beat them, beat them fair and square, but not this way!" Ricochet was stunned for a moment after AJ yanked the chair from his sweaty hand. This momentary lapse in thought allowed Punk to nailed him with a "Step-Up Knee" to the back of the head. Ricochet was easy fodder for "Go to Sleep." Punk covered while his teammates kept the opponents at bay.
Winners = "Allied Powers" by pinfall in 22:10 (AJ Lee is no longer in "The Richards Collective")
At ringside, Eve and Maryse berated AJ, who stood her ground. Lee finally hit a "Dropkick" that took them both out. She then jumped into the ring and planted a big kiss on her husband's lips to a roar from the crowd.
Regal: "Oh my! AJ Lee and CM Punk have been reunited, finally! What a scene! The crowd loves it! I hate to say it, but we've run out of time right in the middle of this celebration! Fans, please join us again next Tuesday on TBS for more of the Show Time Power Hour! And, go ahead and log onto www.nwashowtime.com to catch After Buzz with Cathy Kelley immediately following our broadcast! For Mauro Ranallo and Jim Cornette, I'm William Regal, saying ta ta for now!"
The celebration continued as the episode went off the air. AJ skipped around the ring while everyone else high-fived fans.
NWA: Show Time After Buzz with Cathy Kelley aired as normal.
Kelley gushed over the reunion of CM Punk and AJ Lee. She chronicled some of their ups and downs. Kelley likened the scene on tonight's episode to Randy Savage and Elizabeth coming back together at WrestleMania, citing, "True love always wins in the end." With that, Kelley closed.
