"Femme Fatales" TV Taping Number 97 (Week 194)

Madusa Miceli: "Ladies and gentlemen, welcome to the hottest hour on television, Femme Fatales! I'm your hostess, Madusa. with me are Renee Young and Melissa Santos! Girls, tonight we find out the brackets for the World Tag Team Championship tournament!"

Renee Young: "Duce, I can't wait! Sixteen teams will vie for the right to enter the 'Gauntlet' match at Spring Stampede this Saturday!"

Melissa Santos: "In two days, sixteen top female tag teams will converge on the Queen City to try and join a handful of other teams with a chance to become the first NWA World Women's Tag Team Champions since nineteen eighty-four!"

Miceli: "Yep! That reveal will be a little later on in the program. We also have a big Television Championship match between Shayna Baszler and Nixon Newell! She's cleared to compete and demanded the match tonight! Plus, we'll see 'Sadistic Tails' take on Shida and Syuri in a battle of the former 'Joshi Mafia' stalwarts, and we'll have an exclusive interview with newcomer Jordynne Grace, who really impressed us last week! Let's go to the ring for our first match-up, where HZK defends the Stardom High Speed Championship!"

Match One ~ Stardom High Speed Championship ~ HZK with Sumire Natsu vs. The Starlight Kid

The Starlight Kid has really come into her own in recent months, maturing in the ring. HZK won the High Speed Championship and has defended it valiantly so far. But, she got more than she bargained for in Kid. Kid took the fight to her and hit some impressive offense, including a top rope dive to the floor. Ultimately, the champion was too much, finishing off Kid with a "Twisting Shooting Star Press."

Winner and STILL Stardom High Speed Champion = HZK by pinfall in 16:00

Miceli: "What a win for the champ!"

Young: "Yeah, but she was pushed to the brink by Starlight Kid!"

Santos: "Both women left it all in the ring!"

Miceli: "That one will be hard to top! Let's take a quick break. We'll be back with more action!"

Miceli: "We're back! Fans, before we go to the ring, we wanted to show you a video package of Misao, who will be coming in next week for her first televised match on Femme Fatales!"

A video package aired that chronicled Misao's recent metamorphosis. She began her career as Hyper Misao in the DDT organization in Japan. Several photos flashed on the screen showing her in years gone by, including one photo with current Femme Fatales Interviewer Yuki Kamifuku.

The story turned when Misao was confronted by Saki Akai, who entranced the heroic Misao so that she wrote off her fans, unmasked, and cut the shroud into pieces in the ring.

Misao then joined Akai and began to sit under her tutelage.

Misao dropped the "Hyper" from her name and underwent her transformation.

Akai has now unleashed the sinister Misao on the rest of the world, via NWA: Femme Fatales. We will see her next week.

Miceli: "I remember the sweet and kind Hyper Misao. This version looks like she is deadly. We'll see just how dangerous she is next week! Let's go back to the ring for tag team action!"

Match Two ~ "Sadistic Tails" (Kana & Mio Shirai) vs. Hikaru Shida & Syuri

These teams have met in the past (before "Joshi Mafia") and they were hard-fought affairs. This was no different. There was a clear-cut respect shown by both teams due to their previous allegiance. But, once the bell rang, it was a fight. Shida and Syuri are technical wizards, especially in tandem. Kana and Mio are vicious and sadistic, as their team name implies. Ultimately, sadistic won out as Syuri succumbed to the "Kana Lock," tapping out after twenty or thirty seconds in the hold. Mio had kept Shida at bay.

Winners = "Sadistic Tails" by submission in 14:11

Miceli: "That's a big win for Kana and Mio! That should put them in line for a title shot down the road!"

Young: "It also gives them momentum for this weekend's tournament!"

Santos: "Kana and Mio Shirai are capable of beating every team out there on any given night!"

Miceli: "Shida and Syuri will have to regroup if they hope to advance this weekend. Fans, we'll take another break. We're back in three minutes with and interview of Jordynne Grace and our huge main event! Stay with us!"

Miceli: "We're back! Charly Caruso is backstage ready to interview our newest acquisition, the poserful Jordyynne Grace! Charly, take it away!"

Charly Caruso: "Thank you, Madusa! I am indeed standing here with Jordynne Grace, who impressively debuted last week and promptly won two matches, one of them against fellow power lifter Isabel Lahela and then a special challenge by 'The Hive's' Dark Allie. I'd say you made a big impact!"

Jordynne Grace was standing strong with the Progress and WSW Women's Championships, which she also holds simultaneously.

Jordynne Grace: "I didn't come to NWA: Femme Fatales just to make an impact! I'm an 'Impact Player!' I came to take over! They say this is the number one women's organization in the world. Well, I'm about to test that theory out first hand."

Caruso: "You currently hold the Progress and WSW Women's Championships over in Europe, along with just signing to NWA: Femme Fatales. Obviously, you're well traveled and experienced against a wide array of styles."

Grace: "I've wrestled all over North America, South America, Europe, and Asia. I've been in the ring against luchadoras, joshis, catch wrestlers, women, men, you name it. I've beaten them all."

Caruso: "With the diversity in the roster NWA: Femme Fatales boasts, you have to feel like your experience will help you out."

Grace: "I have been a wrestler for the last eight years, but I have the knowledge of someone with twice my experience. That kind of skill set is unbeatable."

Caruso: "Now, the question is, will you seek to align yourself with anyone or will you be a lone wolf?"

Grace: "Oh, I already have a friend coming with me. She'll be here next week."

Caruso: "Next week? Do you mind telling us who?"

Grace: "Now is not the time. But, trust me when I say you'll know her when you see her."

Grace walked away.

Caruso: "Back to you, Duce."

Miceli: "Jordynne Grace is dominant enough on her own. Who could she possibly be bringing in as an ally?! Next week is shaping up to be another exciting episode already! Fans, it's main event time for the Television Championship!"

Match Three ~ NWA: Femme Fatales Television Championship ~ "Queen of Spades" Shayna Baszler vs. Nixon Newell

This was a fantastic fight. Both women brought their a-game. Newell was speedy and on point. Baszler was methodical and calculated, but nonetheless nasty in her approach. Shayna controlled much of the pace, working over Newell's arm and neck, as well as her surgically-repaired knee. The challenger persevered brilliantly. Baszler eventually locked in her "Kirifuda Clutch." Newell fought it off, dragging herself and Baszler to the corner, where she used her powerful legs and catapulted herself and Baszler backward. Newell landed on top of Shayna, who maintained the choke. Nixon then pivoted and flipped herself over, creating a "Jackknife Pin." She caught Shayna off guard long enough to get the three.

Winner and NEW NWA: Femme Fatales Television Champion = Nixon Newell by pinfall in 19:48

Miceli: "Nixon did it! She just beat the 'Submission Magician!'"

Young: "Nixon Newell is the new TV Champion!"

Santos: "What a brilliant counter for the pin!"

After the match, "The Four Horsewomen of MMA" tried to attack, but Newell evaded them and fled into the crowd. Afterward, she posed with her newly won title.

Miceli: "We have to take one more break. We'll be back with the bracket reveal next!"

Miceli: "All right! It's time to reveal the brackets for this two-session tournament on Saturday! GM Karlee Perez and Commissioner Aikawa are in the ring. Let's do this!"

Karlee Perez: "Ladies and gentlemen, we are two days away from the tournament to determine the NWA: Femme Fatales representative in the 'Gauntlet' match to determine the NWA World Women's Tag Team Champions. Commissioner Aikawa and I are here to reveal the official bracket."

Yuzuki Aikawa: "Ladies and gentlemen, please turn your attention to the tron."

The brackets aired on the tron to a roar from the crowd.
