William Regal: "Ladies and gentlemen, welcome to the finest sixty minutes of pro wrestling in the world, the Show Time Power Hour! I'm your host, William Regal. With me are Mauro Ranallo and Jim Cornette! We are only four days away from the Crockett Cup and five days away from SuperBrawl!"
Mauro Ranallo: "So much wrestling, so little time! Momma Mia!"
Jim Cornette: "We're four days away from 'Camp Cornette's' crowning achievement, winning the Crockett Cup!"
Regal: "And, don't forget that we have a huge match-up signed for SuperBrawl between Brock Lesnar and the debuting WALTER! Wow! To that end, WALTER will have his debut match tonight on the program against a yet-to-be-named opponent! Also, we will feature some of the tag teams in the Crockett Cup in competition! Also, Adam Cole's NWA World Championship opponent will be announced tonight and Cole will be here live! With all that, we'd better get started!"
Match One ~ "Sons of Steel" (Boomer Payne & Brice Anthony) vs. Bully Ray & D-Von Dudley
This was a very competitive match. Ray and D-Von still have it, and showed it. They turned back the clock against their younger opponents. Technically speaking, "SOS" is probably one of the top three tag teams in the company. Their tag team precision is undeniable. Ultimately, it was their timing that gained the victory. After an attempt at "3D" was blocked, Ray was knocked out of the ring and D-Von fell victim to "Steel Curtain."
Winners = "Sons of Steel" by pinfall in 14:08
Regal: "What a great start to the program! A big win for 'Sons of Steel,' which should give them some momentum heading into the weekend!"
Ranallo: "Jim, that was a big win for a team you used to manage!"
Cornette: "The sun shines on every dog's backside once in a while."
Regal: "With that, let's take a commercial break. We'll be back with more action in just a moment!"
Regal: "We're back! Fans, we're about to have another great tag team match in preparation for the Crockett Cup. Before we do, let's hear from 'Killer Smoke Show."
The scene shifted to a pre-taped vignette that began with Scarlett Bordeaux standing in all her glory.
Scarlett Bordeaux: "When Killer Kross and I joined forces, it was to accomplish two goals. Number one, I'm here to make wrestling sexy again. Killer Kross is here to make wrestling deadly again. Those goals are about to become reality."
Kross stepped into the picture.
Killer Kross: "The ring is about to become a very dangerous place for people to be in. Trust me, I live up to my name."
Bordeaux: "Welcome to the 'Killer Smoke Show.'"
Regal: "Well then, it looks like Killer Kross and Scarlett Bordeaux have laid down the gauntlet!"
Ranallo: "They were as fiery as Scarlett's red outfit would suggest! This could be a formidable pairing!"
Cornette: "Killer Kross is a dangerous man. With that Scarlett running around on the outside, he could be even more deadly!"
Regal: "All right. Let's go back to the ring for more tag team action!"
Match Two ~ "War Machine" ("WarBeard" Hanson & Raymond "Death" Rowe) vs. "The New Hart Foundation" (Teddy Hart & Brian Pillman, Jr.)
Hanson and Rowe are brutes with a penchant for violence and tag team efficiency. Their opponents are more along the lines of a Cruiserweight tandem. They tend to stick and move with some aerial flash mixed in. It was a war of attrition for some time. Eventually, "War Machine" took over for good. They hit "Fallout" on Pillman for the win.
Winners = "War Machine" by pinfall in 11:36
Regal: "Big win for 'War Machine' as they head toward the Crockett Cup!"
Ranallo: "They could be one of the favorites to win the whole thing! They're one team to watch!"
Cornette: "One team to watch get beaten by 'Camp Cornette!' That's what they are!"
Regal: "Perhaps, Jim. We will see on Saturday in Florida. On that note, fans. I've just been informed that streaming for the Crockett Cup will be made available at www.nwashowtime.com for only five ninety-nine! what a bargain! Okay, we'll take another break. When we return, World Champion Adam Cole will be here to find out who he'll face this Sunday!"
Regal: "We're back. Before the break, we said the NWA World Champion Adam Cole would be here and his opponent for SuperBrawl would be announced. Let's bring the champion out!"
Joseann Offerman: "Ladies and gentlemen, NWA World Heavyweight Champion Adam Cole."
Cole came out dressed in a suit. Britt Baker was by his side in a long dress. Kamilla Kaine was not far behind holding the NWA World Championship belt.
Adam Cole: "All right, the World Champion is here, Adam Cole, bay bay! And, the NWA Board of Governors has been silent on who my opponent is for this coming Sunday at SuperBrawl. Jordan Richards told me personally that the Board has been deadlocked. Half of them want that big goof Braun Strowman to get his rematch. Half of them want to honor my injunction. Ultimately, the injunction was approved by NWA legal. Sorry Braun my dear boy! You won't be facing me on Sunday! So, take a hike! But, Jordan called and told me before I came out here that my opponent has been decided by a three-to-two vote. He said that the opponent is going to be live via satellite tonight. So, let's see who my next victim is going to be!"
Suddenly, a satellite feed of Brian Cage appeared on the tron.
Cole went ballistic.
Brian Cage: "Oh Adam, are you surprised to see me? I'm not surprised to get this opportunity. I've run through everyone in NWA: Stars & Stripes. I've even run through The Rock and Brock Lesnar. The Board of Governors couldn't deny me, not even with your boy Jordan Richards as the Chairman! That ten pounds of gold is coming to me Sunday! And, for the first time ever, it won't be held by a man, but a machine! See you in the Bahamas, Adam!"
Cole was stunned and obviously disturbed.
Regal: "What an announcement! Brian Cage will get the opportunity of a lifetime as he replaces Braun Strowman in the World Championship match against Adam Cole!"
Ranallo: "Adam Cole I beside himself! He obviously thought Jordan Richards could get him an easier opponent! Brian Cage is a thoroughbred!"
Cornette: "All is not well with Adam Cole, and for good reason. He just found out his opponent five days before the match! I'd be upset too! Especially if I found out it was Brian Cage!"
Regal: "Okay fans, we'll take a quick pause and be back with the debut of WALTER next!"
When the episode came back to air, Adam Cole was backstage on his cell phone.
Cole: "Are you kidding me with this right now, Jordan?! This should have been a slam dunk! We get some patsy for me to plow through and keep this reign going! We dodged a bullet with Strowman, but now I have to face Brian Cage?! Yes, I know the Board votes on everything. Yes, I know you don't have the only vote, but you're the Chairman! You've got to figure something out!"
Cole finished his phone call and walked off shaking his head.
Regal: "We're back and it's clear that Adam Cole did not plan on Brian Cage being the outcome of this night! But, that's his reality as World Champion. All right, it's main event time! WALTER is here after showing up out of nowhere last week to confront Brock Lesnar! He demanded a match this week, which was granted by Commissioner Flair. But, we don't know who he'll be facing yet! Let's find out!"
WALTER came out to his traditional ominous entrance. He stood in center ring with his arms behind his back, casting an imposing shadow.
The crowd exploded when the Television Champion Matt Riddle's music hit.
Matt Riddle: "Bro. I saw that WALTER was making his big de-butt this week and the company was making such a big deal out of it on social media. I guess they forgot the 'King of Bros' is on a little crusade, huh? When I heard that this bro demanded a match, but his opponent hadn't been named yet, I went to Commissioner Flair and threw my name in the hat. I promised to make this title great again each and every week with an open challenge. It's usually someone stepping up to take me on. But, why don't we flip the script here tonight? WALTER, I'm challenging you to take me on for the Television Title!"
Regal: "Is this happening?! Are we going to see WALTER versus Matt Riddle tonight?!"
WALTER motioned Riddle to come on, indicating he was accepting the match. The fans went wild.
Match Three ~ NWA: Show Time Television Championship ~ "Make the Television Championship Great Again Open Challenge" ~ "King of Bros" Matt Riddle vs. "Ring General" WALTER
After an opening handshake, Riddle immediately landed a chop that turned into a chop battle that scintillated the crowd! WALTER screamed for more and the chopping intensified. Both men had raw chests in seconds. The two went forehead to forehead and circled, then the chop war continued. Matt ducked WALTER's chop attempt and went behind for a "German Suplex." WALTER blocked it and hit one of his own. There was another series of chops and kicks. Riddle got fired up and hit charging forearms in the corner. WALTER went for a "Pump Kick" in center ring, but Riddle held his ground in the corner. WALTER impressively sailed through the air and hit it anyway. They went to the outside where another insane chop battle ensued! WALTER dropped Riddle with a boot, then landed a "Belly-to-Back Suplex" on the apron. Back inside the ring, WALTER hit a "Gutwrench Suplex." WALTER looked for another, but Riddle attempted to block. The two jockeyed for position. Matt hit a "Gutwrench Suplex" of his own and rolled into a second one, deadlifting the three-hundred-pound WALTER. The "High-Jump Senton" connected. Riddle threw some devastating kicks and backed WALTER into the corner. After shushing the crowd, Riddle hit a big chop. WALTER fired a shotgun blast-like chop in return and absolutely clobbered the champion in the corner. Riddle sidestepped a "Mafia Kick" and hit a "German Suplex" in return. WALTER sidestepped the "Running Knee" and locked in a "Sleeperhold" in, but transitioned to a "German Suplex." Riddle landed on his feet, but was nailed with another "German Suplex." Matt popped up, but WALTER laid him out with a big kick. WALTER went for a "Brainbuster," but Riddle countered into the "Fisherman Buster." Both men were spent. As they rose to their knees, they hit more chops. They kept rising to their feet, continuing to absolutely blast each other with vicious chops. Riddle went back to his kicks. WALTER responded by kicking Matt's legs out from underneath him. Riddle slipped out of a "Powerbomb." Riddle went for the "Up Kick," but WALTER countered with an "Ankle Lock." Bro rolled out of it and ate a "Mafia Kick, followed by a "German Suplex" and a "Lariat." Riddle kicked out at 2.9. WALTER went into another "Sleeperhold." The crowd got behind the champion. Riddle rolled out and threw the "Up Kick" and netted a glancing blow. It was good enough to allow Matt to put the big man up on his shoulders and hit "Bro to Sleep." He followed up with a "Bridging German Suplex." Matt hit a "Penalty Kick." Riddle then tried to get the hooks in for the "Bromission," grinding WALTER with overhead elbow shots. WALTER slipped out and went back to the "Sleeperhold." Matt flailed about and then went limp. The referee lifted the hand once, twice, and a third time. Matt lifted the arm at the last possible moment. Riddle climbed to his feet and reached for the ropes. WALTER trapped his arm, then hit a "Sleeper Suplex." WALTER then landed a "Powerbomb" and followed up with another "Powerbomb." Riddle kicked out again to a huge response. WALTER went back to the "Sleeperhold," this time falling to his back and applying a "Bodyscissors." Riddle was going limp once again. Suddenly, Brock Lesnar ran down the entrance ramp and attacked WALTER, prompting the bell.
Winner = WALTER by disqualification in 19:17 (Riddle retains)
After the bell, Lesnar decimated WALTER. The big man came back and began to chop the hide off Lesnar's chest. The two brawled all over the ringside area. They began to trade chair shots. Finally, Security came out and separated them. WALTER was near the Timekeeper's table and grabbed a microphone.
WALTER: "I want Brock Lesnar at SuperBrawl! No holds barred for the title!"
Lesnar could be heard yelling, "You got it! Bring your a** to 'Suplex City,' b****!"
Regal: "Oh my! This match just got even more colossal! No holds barred with the Heavyweight Championship on the line!"
Ranallo: "Are you kidding me?! They might tear the Bahamas apart!"
Cornette: "WALTER's been in the company for a cup of coffee and his first two matches are for titles?! What kind of clout does he have?!"
Regal: "Apparently a lot, Jim. Fans, we're all out of time for this week. Please join us again next Tuesday on TBS for more of the Show Time Power Hour!
