Madusa Miceli: "Ladies and gentlemen, welcome to the hottest hour on television, Femme Fatales! I'm your hostess, Madusa Miceli. With me are Renee Young and Melissa Santos, and it's two thousand nineteen! This is the first episode of the new year, and it guarantees to make an impact!"
Renee Young: "You said it, Duce! Happy New Year! And, do we have a main event that might just blow the roof off the joint?!"
Melissa Santos: "Yes! Listen to this! 'The Four Horsewomen' will take on Kairi Hojo, Io Shirai, and 'Fly Kicks!' Talk about a dream match! That's going to be epic!"
Miceli: "You got that right! That could be one of the best main events in the history of this show! We're going to start the night off with a 'No DQ' match, as 'Team Crazy Cute' is set to battle Mina Shirakawa and Yuki Kamifuku! Let's go to the ring!"
Match One ~ "No Disqualification" match ~ "Team Crazy Cute" (Maki Itoh & Mizuki) vs. Mina Shirakawa & Yuki Kamifuku
This was a pretty violent fight, though there were a couple of humorous spots. One in particular involved Yuki, who grabbed a donut from concessions and looked directly into the camera, saying, "Maki looks hungry!," before shoving the donut into Itoh's throat.
This was very much a back-and-forth match, with both teams getting some heavy offense in. Ultimately, it looked like the upstart team would get the final advantage, as Yuki had Mizuki down for the count. Maki came in and blasted Kamifuku in the back of the head with a vicious chairshot. Yuki was out cold immediately. Maki rolled Mizuki on top for the pin.

Miceli: "Well, it looks like Maki Itoh and Mizuki finally have prevailed against the novice team that they've targeted for weeks now."
Young: "Still, I've been impressed with Mina and Yuki! I mean, Mina is brand new to NWA: Femme Fatales and Yuki is an interviewer, for crying out loud!"
Santos: "It was weird that they were singled out from the get go. But, they've accounted well for themselves since and even had this match won until the steel chair was introduced."
Miceli: "Fans, we need to take a break. When we return, we'll see that huge main event! Stay with us!"
Miceli: "We're back! we had a scheduled interview with Kairi, Io, and 'Fly Kicks,' but we're hearing there's a fight back there! Let's go backstage now!"
The scene shifted to backstage, where it looked like Lilian Garcia was on scene to conduct an interview. She was in the distance as "The Four Horsewomen" were waylaying their opponents. They took out Io, Kairi, and Dakota. Then, they smash a heavy wooden production box against Newell's surgically-repaired right knee. She wailed out in pain as Security rushed in with Commissioner Aikawa and "The Horsewomen" scattered.
Miceli: "Oh, good Lord! Nixon Newell is hurt! We gotta get her some help!"
Young: "That was a targeted attack on Nixon Newell! Obviously, 'The Horsewomen' went after all of them, but they separated her and went after that bad knee!"
Santos: "No question! They are trying to take her out for good!"
Miceli: "Let's take a quick break. When we return, we'll check on Nixon. Stay tuned, fans."
Miceli: "We're back, folks. There's still quite a commotion backstage. Nixon Newell is in with the trainers. Let's go backstage once again."
The scene shifted to the trainer's room, where they were examining Nixon Newell's knee. Her teammates were in the room as well. GM Karlee Perez walked in and Dakota Kai laid into her verbally.
Dakota Kai: "What are you going to do about 'The Horsewomen' now?! You saw what they did to Nixon! Something needs to happen!"
Karlee Perez: "And something will happen. In fact, your match is still on. You three had better get to the ring. If Nixon is cleared, she will join you. If not, it'll be four-on-three. Good luck."
Kai: "Come on, girls! It's obvious we're not getting any help here! We'll have to take matters into our own hands!"
Nixon Newell: "I'll be there, Dakota! I'll be out there! Go kicks their arses!"
Kai, Hojo, and Shirai stormed off.
Miceli: "So, it looks like this will be a 'Handicap' match, at least to start! Let's go to the ring!"
Match Two ~ "The Four Horsewomen" (Charlotte Flair, "Lass Kicker" Becky Lynch, "Money in the Bank" Mercedes KV, & Bayley Rose) vs. Kairi Hojo, "The Ace" Io Shirai, & "Fly Kicks" (Nixon Newell* and Dakota Kai) *Newell did not begin the match
The underhanded heroes made this seem like an eight-woman tag team match. The athletics displayed by Hojo, Shirai, and Kai were off the charts. They kept their opponents at bay for quite some time. Eventually, the numbers gamed played out. Hojo was punished for quite some time. "The Horsewomen" seemed to take great pleasure in inflicting pain on the Women's Champion. Hojo showed grit and toughness. She continued to fight back and kick out of pin attempts. 3/4 of the way into the match, Nixon Newell came limping out to a huge roar from the crowd. Her right leg had the customary knee brace on, but was heavily taped. A trainer followed Newell out and looked to be pleading with her to stop, but she shoved him to the floor and walked intently toward the ring. Newell got into her partners' corner and beckoned Kairi for a tag. "The Four Horsewomen" were stunned to see Nixon in the match. Hojo finally unleashed her "Interceptor" on Flair, which gave her enough recovery time to make the tag to Newell. The place came unglued when Nixon entered the match. She was fists of fury, unloading on every opponent. The match broke down into an eight-way melee very quickly. The frenetic finish came when KV had Kai in the "Bank Statement." Newell came out of nowhere and hit "The Shiniest Wizard" on KV for the pin before any other "Horsewoman" could react to it.

Miceli: "What a courageous performance by Nixon Newell, who hobbled to the ring and got the win!"
Young: "Nixon Newell is phenomenal! She's the real MVP tonight!"
Santos: "It was amazing, but the appearance of Nixon Newell turned the tide of the match!"
After the match, the victors walked arm in arm up the ramp. Newell was clutching her knee, which had to be throbbing at that point. But, there were smiles all around. "The Horsewomen" seethed inside the ring.
Miceli: "Fans, what a night and what a main event! It more than lived up to expectations! We're out of time for this week. Please join us again next Thursday on TNT for more Femme Fatales! For Renee Young and Melissa Santos, I'm medusa Miceli! Keep on rockin' and rollin'!"
