Mauro Ranallo: "New year, same exciting wrestling! NWA: Show Time is on fire!"
Jim Cornette: "Happy new year, you filthy animals!"
Regal: "Fans, we're starting the year off with a bang! Brock Lesnar will defend the Heavyweight Championship in an open challenge! Also, Ricochet defends the Mid-Atlantic Championship against Kota Ibushi in the long awaited rematch! In the first of our trio of title matches, Aleister Black will defend the Television Championship versus Matt Riddle! That match is first up! Let's go to the ring!"

Winner and NEW NWA: Show Time Television Champion = Matt Riddle by submission in 13:16
Regal: "Two thousand nineteen has begun in a big way for Matt Riddle, the new Television Champion!"
Ranallo: "What a match! Riddle finished Black with his 'Bromission!'"
Cornette: "Matt Riddle is the real deal and he has just beaten a very strong opponent in Aleister Black!"
Regal: "Fans, the hour is already unprecedented! Stay with us to see how it goes from here! We'll be right back!"
Regal: "We're back! Fans, Ricochet's feud with Kota Ibushi has taken them all over the territory, from the Carolinas to Virginia to Tennessee, Georgia, and Florida! Tonight, they'll do it once again with the Mid-Atlantic Championship on the line! We are being told that Commissioner Ric Flair has mandated that this will be Ibushi's last title shot against Ricochet, which has made this all the more important a match! Vanessa Craft is backstage with the Mid-Atlantic Champion Ricochet and AJ Lee. Let's hear some words from the champion!"
Vanessa Craft: "I'm here with Mid-Atlantic Champion Ricochet and his valet AJ Lee. Ricochet, we've just learned that your match with Kota Ibushi will be his last opportunity to win the title. What are your thoughts?"
Ricochet: "That's how it should be! The dude got one fluke victory over me. Otherwise, I've dominated him! Kota Ibushi is one of the best athletes in the world, but he's not 'The One and Only!' I'm the Mid-Atlantic Champion for a reason! That won't change tonight!"
Craft: "Now, we've followed your feud on the live event tour as well as the televised matches. You two have torn up the territory, but there have been many disputed finishes."
Ricochet: "What are you getting at?!"
Craft: "I'm only suggesting that these have been very competitive matches, not as one-sided as you have claimed."
AJ Lee: "Vanessa, you get paid to conduct interviews and ask questions, not to give your personal opinions. I'd suggest you stick to what you know. The bottom line is that you're looking at the best athlete in the world of pro wrestling. He's about to teach Kota Ibushi one final lesson."
Ricochet: "Enough said. Let's go, AJ."
Ricochet and AJ left Vanessa Craft standing there as they walked away.
Regal: "Well then. AJ Lee shut that interview down very quickly. Fans, I guess we're ready to go back to the ring!"
Match Two ~ NWA: Show Time Mid-Atlantic Championship ~ Kota Ibushi's last title opportunity ~ "The One & Only" Ricochet with AJ Lee vs. Kota Ibushi
Kota Ibushi fought Ricochet with a desperation we haven't seen from him. He clearly understood that this was his last chance to secure the Mid-Atlantic Championship. He went tooth and nail with Ricochet in some scintillating exchanges. Ultimately, Ricochet looked to finish it after some timely interference from AJ. As he was about to put the final nail in the coffin, this song blared over the PA:
CM Punk's old (Ring of Honor days) theme song, "Miseria Cantare," was blasting overhead. Ricochet stopped dead in his tracks. AJ Lee was shocked. She glared bug-eyed at the entrance way as this mysterious masked man walked confidently down the aisle.
Ricochet looked as if he'd seen a ghost. He completely blanked on his match as the masked man stopped at ringside and glared at Ricochet. This gave Kota ample opportunity to recover and even mount an offensive. He climbed to the top rope and waited for Ricochet to turn around. AJ hadn't even noticed because she was trying to decide who she was looking at. When Ricochet finally did turn around, he was met with a huge "Missile Dropkick" that turned him inside out. Kota then hit the top again and unleashed his "Phoenix Splash" on Ricochet to get the three-count.
Winner and NEW NWA: Show Time Mid-Atlantic Champion = Kota Ibushi by pinfall in 23:49
Regal: "What a bizarre turn of events! Ricochet had the entire match going his way until the entrance of this unknown masked man!"
Ranallo: "Momma Mia! What a finish! And, who was that masked man?!"
Cornette: "Who was he?! It's obvious that was CM Punk himself! He came out to his old entrance music! He was wearing a CM Punk t-shirt, for crying out loud!"
Regal: "Well, we can't really speculate at this point. Obviously, his appearance, whomever he was, drastically changed the trajectory of the match! As a result, Kota Ibushi is the brand new Mid-Atlantic Champion! Fans, we need to take a commercial break. We'll be back with Brock Lesnar's Heavyweight Championship open challenge next!"
Regal: "We're back! Brock Lesnar decided to call out NWA: Show Time on tonight's episode in defense of his Heavyweight Championship! Fans, this could get very interesting! we've had two title changes in two matches! Will we make it three-for-three?! Let's go to the ring and find out!"
Match Three ~ NWA: Show Time Heavyweight Championship Open Challenge ~ "The Beast" Brock Lesnar with Eve Torres vs. ?
The champion came out extremely confident with Torres, his usual mouthpiece.
Eve Torres: "The NWA: Show Time Heavyweight Champion, Brock Lesnar, has decided to begin this new year with a very generous offer. He will defend the championship against the first man to answer the call, sight unseen. So, without further adieu, let's see how it all will play out."
Regal: "What?!"
Ranallo: "No! No! No!"
Cornette: "She's going to be killed! What is Shotzi thinking?!"
Shotzi Blackheart came to the ring with Truth Martini trying his best to stop her. She jumped up onto the apron as Lesnar bounced and laughed inside the ring.
Suddenly, this entrance played out of nowhere:
Regal: "Tommaso Ciampa?!"
Ranallo: "Are you kidding me?!"
Cornette: "Good Lord! What is this farce?!"
Regal: "What is Tommaso Ciampa doing out here right now?!"
Ciampa attacked Shotzi, laying her out with his "Fairytale Ending" onto the floor. Ciampa Then stepped up to the ring and made his intentions to challenge Lesnar known. Brock demanded, "Bring it on, b****!" as Ciampa stepped through the ropes. Ciampa is known as the "Sicilian Psychopath" for a reason. He was throwing his health and wellbeing out the window facing Lesnar, as most people do. Ciampa went to "Suplex City" around ten times. He kept getting up, though. Ciampa actually got in some of his sadistic offense. However, Lesnar seems superhuman at times. He kept coming back as well. Ciampa went for a "Running Knee," but Lesnar moved out of the way and used his catlike quickness to flip Ciampa over his shoulder and executed the "F-5" to put Ciampa away.
Winner and STILL NWA: Show Time Heavyweight Champion = Brock Lesnar by pinfall in 20:06
Regal: "Another violent match involving Brock Lesnar and another win!"
Ranallo: "Brock Lesnar is a juggernaut! He keeps right on dominating the competition!"
Cornette: "Brock Lesnar is 'The Beast,' without question! He proved it against an unknown opponent!"
Regal: "Fans, if this episode was any indication, two thousand nineteen is going to be a phenomenal year! Please join us again next Tuesday on TBS for more of the Show Time Power Hour! And, don't forget to log onto www.nwashowtime.com to catch After Buzz with Cathy Kelley immediately following the broadcast! For Mauro Ranallo and Jim Cornette, I'm William Regal, saying ta ta for now!"
NWA: Show Time After Buzz with Cathy Kelley aired as normal.
Kelley raved about the events that unfolded over the course of the previous hour. She regaled about Matt Riddle's impressive TV Championship victory, as well as the admittedly controversial ending of the Ricochet-Ibushi battle. Kelley gave many kudos to Shotzi Blakkhartt, whom she called a, "balsy bada**." Cathy could not believe that Shotzi was going to challenge Brock Lesnar, of all people. Kelley gave props to Lesnar, whom she credited with putting himself in a vulnerable position by giving an open challenge, not knowing who his opponent would be. After wishing the fans a Happy New Year, Kelley signed off.
