William Regal: "Ladies and gentlemen, welcome to the finest sixty minutes of pro wrestling in the world, the Show Time Power Hour! I'm your host, William Regal. With me are Mauro Ranallo and Jim Cornette! Men, we're two days away from Starrcade!"
Mauro Ranallo: "And, the card is stacking up to be one of the best ever! Three cities will be on fire this Thursday!"
Jim Cornette: "The 'Turkey Day' spectacular will satisfy more than our bellies! It's a tradition that dates back to 1983! This one promises to be the biggest yet!"
Regal: "Indeed! NWA: Show Time is figured prominently into the mix, as Adam Cole will challenge Braun Strowman for the NWA World Heavyweight Championship, and Brock Lesnar will go to war with Brian Cage in a 'Falls Count Anywhere Streetfight!' And, we're heading toward it with a bang! What a program we have for the fans tonight! In an gigantic three-way, eight-man battle, 'Camp Cornette' will face off against the Usos and 'War Machine' and 'Forgotten Sons!' 'British Strong Style' takes on 'Worldwide Underground' in six-man action! And, in our main event, Adam Cole defends the Television Championship against Aleister Black! It's going to be a fantastic hour! Let's get to it!"
Match One ~ "British Strong Style" ("Bruiserweight" Pete Dunne, Tyler Bate, & Trent Seven) vs. "Worldwide Underground" (Johnny Mundo, "Darewolf" PJ Black, & Jack Evans with Taya)
This was a competitive match-up, although "BSS" owned the bulk of the offense. They worked as a well-oiled machine, inflicting pain on the joints of each "WWU" member, including Taya. Dunne popped her finger joints after he caught her trying to interfere. The finish came after Bate and Seven hit stereo dives to take out Black and Evans. Mundo was left fodder for "The Bitter End."
Winners = "British Strong Style" by pinfall in 12:08
Regal: "A resounding victory for the Brits!"
Ranallo: "They proved that strong style is more destructive than the daredevil parkour style!"
Cornette: "Dunne, Bate, and Seven run the Cruiserweight division and they show no signs of slowing down!"
Regal: "We'll take a quick break and be back with the colossal twenty-four-man match next!"
Cornette: "I still say this is punishment from Flair!"
Regal: "We're back, fans! Jim Cornette has taken his leave to prepare for the next match. Before we go back to the ring, let's hear some a statement from The Sinister Minister."
The Sinister Minister: "The work of 'The New Church' is ever expanding. There are converts to be won and wayward souls to be guided. The sins of the wicked must be purged. The mission never ends. Therefore, it's time to expand our dark kingdom. Soon, 'The Priest of Punishment' and 'The Zealot' will have help. 'Judgment' is coming."
Regal: "A very cryptic message from 'The New Church.' It sounds like a new member is about to be added."
Ranallo: "If judgment is coming, what does that mean for the rest of the roster?!"
Regal: "Only time will tell. Fans, it's time for the biggest tag team match in Show Time Power Hour history! Twenty-four men are about to battle it out! Let's go to the ring!"
Match Two ~ Three-Way Eight-Man Tag Team" match ~ "Camp Cornette" ("The Revival" {Dash Wilder & Scott Dawson} and "The Insurgence" {Kevin Steen & Claudio Castagnoli} with Jim Cornette) vs. "War Machine" ("WarBeard" Hanson & Raymond "Death" Rowe) and Jimmy & Jey Uso with "The Bad Guy" Scott Hall vs. "The Forgotten Sons" ("Sons of Steel" {Boomer Payne & Brice Anthony}, "Universal Soldier" Gunner, and "Southern Savior" Jon Skyler with "Born Winner" Mike Madden)
This match was chaotic to say the least. The standard rules mandated that one member from each team be in the ring at the same time. They could tag out at any point, but all three teams were supposed to be represented at every point. The action broke down into full-scale brawls on a couple of occasions. The last such instance spelled the end of the match. As the ring area looked like a war zone, the referee attempted to gain control. Behind his back, Cornette blasted Skyler with his tennis racket. Jon stumbled right into "Shatter Machine" from "The Revival." No one else knew what was going on except for Mike Madden, who chased Cornette away from ringside. However, no one stopped the pin, which was academic at that point.
Winners = "Camp Cornette" by pinfall in 15:48
Regal: "Cornette steals another one for his team! One day he'll get his comeuppance!"
Ranallo: "We thought it might be from Mike Madden, but the slippery Cornette managed to escape his grasp!"
Regal: "Fans, let's take a break. When we return, Vanessa Craft will interview Adam Cole ahead of our main event. We'll be back in just a moment!"
Regal: "We're back! We've been rejoined at commentary by Jim Cornette, who no doubt has taken great pleasure in stealing another victory for his charges!"
Cornette: "I stole nothing! Let the record reflect a pin after 'Shatter Machine! Ha ha ha!"
Ranallo: "'Shatter Machine' was only possible after a tennis racket blast from you!"
Cornette: "Don't get lost in the details, pal! The take away here is that 'Camp Cornette' once again proved its superiority in the tag team division!"
Regal: "We could argue this all night, but we have more important things to get to. Vanessa Craft is standing by with the Television Champion Adam Cole, who will defend the title next against Aleister Black. Vanessa, take it away!"
Vanessa Craft: "Thank you, William. As you said, I'm here with Television Champion Adam Cole, who will challenge for the NWA World Heavyweight Championship this Thursday night against Braun Strowman. But first, he must defend his championship here tonight against the challenge of Aleister Black."
Adam Cole: "Let me stop you right there, princess! The fact that I have to defend my Television Championship two days before the biggest match of my life is a travesty! I should be focused on the NWA World Heavyweight Championship that is still under Kamilla's watchful eye! Instead, I have to face potential injury while Braun Strowman gets the night off!"
Craft: "Well, as you know, the Television Champion must defend the title at least once every thirty days on television. You have not defended it on TV since early in the month of October. This is your last opportunity before being stripped."
Cole: "Don't you think I know what the rules are?! I've been a little busy dealing with Braun Strowman and that little tramp running around with him! So, fine! I'll take care of Aleister Black here tonight, then I'll celebrate Thanksgiving by making my ownership of this title official!"
Craft: "Are you worried that you're overlooking Aleister Black, a very dangerous competitor, and only thinking of Starrcade?"
Cole: "I'm the best d*** pro wrestler on the planet! I don't overlook anyone! I'm simply better than they are, and I'm about to prove it to Aleister Black right now! We're done here!"
Cole stormed off as Kamilla Kaine stared Vanessa Craft down before walking away.
Regal: "Adam Cole sounds very confident. Let's see how he fares against the lethal Aleister Black!"
Match Three ~ NWA: Show Time Television Championship ~ Adam Cole with Britt Baker & Kamilla Kaine vs. Aleister Black with Joanna Rose
Kaine came to the ring confidently holding the NWA World Heavyweight Championship title belt.
Black sat deadpanned in center ring with his legs crossed. Cole approached cautiously as Black stood up quickly. The match was a breath-taking display of furious action early. Both men wasted no time feeling the other out, instead opting to go right at one another. Cole seized the upper hand for quite a while, working over Black's neck and back. Aleister came back, looking to regain the edge. He inadvertently knocked down the referee when he attempted his "Black Mass" finisher. Cole hit his "Last Shot," but could not get the pin as the dazed referee was unable to count. Just then, this entrance video aired on the tron:
The fans went crazy as Braun Strowman stalked to the ring. He was jumped by Kaine before he could get to Cole, but he flipped her off his back and onto the hard floor. Strowman then stepped up to the ring and cornered Cole. Adam went for a boot, but it was caught by Braun. Strowman then clubbed Cole in the chest. Braun dropped down out of the ring and grabbed his NWA World Heavyweight Championship belt. Cole stumbled to his feet where he was met with "Black Mass" right to the jaw. Cole dropped like a shot. Black covered him as Strowman revived the groggy referee. The slow count was made by the dazed referee.
Winner and NEW NWA: Show Time Television Champion = Aleister Black by pinfall in 25:07
Strowman smiled as he draped the NWA World Championship over his shoulder. Kaine and Baker seethed at ringside.
Regal: "Aleister Black is the new Television Champion! And, he got the big assist from Braun Strowman!"
Ranallo: "The 'Dutch Assasin' has dethroned Adam Cole two days ahead of Starrcade!"
Cornette: "All I know is that Aleister Black was all to eager to prosper from another man's help! I'd call that a hollow victory!"
Regal: "Well Jim, you'd know all about hollow victories then, considering you gave your team one earlier!"
Cornette: "Yeah, right! My guys would have won either way! Just stay out of my business, Billy!"
Regal: "Regardless of what led to the win, Aleister Black is the new Television Champion and Braun Strowman also has his property back! Fans, please call you cable or satellite provider and order Starrcade this Thursday after you've finished your turkey dinner! It's going to be a spectacular event!
