"Femme Fatales" TV Taping Number 85 (Week 169)

Madusa Miceli: "Ladies and gentlemen, welcome to the hottest hour on television, Femme Fatales! I'm your hostess, Madusa Miceli. With me are Renee Young and Melissa Santos! Girls, time is ticking away and we're one week closer to Halloween Havoc and the showdown for the ages between Charlotte Flair and Kairi Hojo!"

Renee Young: "Yes ma'am! And, we'll see Kairi in action today, as she's been challenged by Becky Lynch after she ate the pin in that big eight-woman tag last week!"

Melissa Santos: "Yes, and speaking of Kairi, we'll also see her 'Manami Classic' finals opponent Nixon Newell in action as 'Fly Kicks' will defend the Impact Tag Team Championship against Marina Shafir and Jessamyn Duke, who impressed everyone with a big victory over Shida and Syuri last week!"

Miceli: "We'll start the night off with some fireworks in a Trios Championship match!"

Match One ~ NWA: Femme Fatales Ladies Trios Championship ~ "The IIconics" (Jessie McKay & Peyton Royce) and Tenille Dashwood vs. "B.O.O.T.Y. ~ Beauties Obsessed with Owning This Yard" (Brandi Lauren, Kaci Lennox, & Vanessa Marie with Salina de la Renta and Aria Blake)

The incumbents were fierce, but so were their counterparts. Royce and McKay dominated their portions of the match, but Dashwood seemed to lose her mojo midway through. Her timing seemed thrown off and that affected her performance. This became her undoing as that and a distraction by de la Renta allowed Lauren to hit a "Fisherman Neckbreaker" for the pin.

Winners and NEW NWA: Femme Fatales Ladies Trios Champions = "B.O.O.T.Y." by pinfall in 12:08

Miceli: "We've got new champs! The youngsters did it!"

Young: "What an impressive showing against the three international veterans!"

Santos: "Great win by 'B.O.O.T.Y.,' but we saw an implosion with the champions! They really were not on the same page!"

After the match, Dashwood and "The IIConics" argued. Finally, they left together, but tensions were high.

Miceli: "Fans, we'll take a break. We'll be back with more tag team action next!"

Miceli: "We're back! Fans, 'Fly Kicks' is about to defend the Impact Tag Team Championship against members of the MMA 'Four Horsewomen!' Lilian Garcia is standing by to get a word with them before they come out."

Lilian Garcia: "I'm here with Impact Ta..."

Before Garcia could get out her introduction, "Fly Kicks" was attacked by Ronda Rousey, Shayna Baszler, Marina Shafir, and Jessamyn Duke. They beat them down and dragged them out to the ring. Once inside, the trainers came out to check on the injured champions. They demanded that the match go on, so the bell rang.

Match Two ~ NWA: Femme Fatales Impact Tag Team Championship ~ "Fly Kicks" (Dakota Kai & Nixon Newell) vs. "Supernova from Moldova" Marina Shafir & Jessamyn "The Gun" Duke with "Rowdy" Ronda Rousey and "Queen of Spades" Shayna Baszler

The beat down continued after the bell. Duke and Shafir worked Newell over in the ring as Kai recovered on the apron. Dakota implored Nixon to get over for a tag, but Newell was being raked over the coals. She was fading fast and looked to be almost done for. Finally, Newell uncorked a "Shotgun Kick" on Shafir, which gave her time to crawl over for the tag. Kai came in like a house of fire, taking out her opponents. She began to lose a little steam, as her rib injury from the pre-match attack began to flare up. It became a four-way brawl at the end. Kai was thrown out of the ring while Duke and Shafir stomped Newell to the mat. Kai landed on her feet and began to scale the ropes from the outside. She made it to the top and hit a "Missile Dropkick" on both opponents. Duke went flying while Shafir fell over the top of Nixon, who scooped her up into a "Schoolgirl Roll" for the pin.

Winners and STILL NWA: Femme Fatales Impact Tag Team Champions = "Fly Kicks" by pinfall in 19:33

Miceli: "Good Lord! Dakota and Nixon took an absolute beating and still came out on top!"

Young: "Dakota Kai and Nixon Newell quickly have established themselves as a premier tag team, maybe the best in the company!"

Santos: "They pulled that victory right out of the fire!"

Kai quickly rolled Newell out of the ring before a post match attack could take place.

Miceli: "Fans, we have to take another break. The main event grudge match is next!"

Miceli: "We're back and it's time for the feature match of the night! Kairi Hojo, the number one contender and challenger to Charlotte Flair's women's Championship at Halloween Havoc, is set to go one-on-one with 'Horsewoman' Becky Lynch, who Kairi pinned in last week's main event! This should be an epic battle! Let's get to it!"

Match Three ~ Kairi Hojo vs. "Lass Kicker" Becky Lynch with Charlotte Flair

Charlotte did her best to get into Kairi's head the entire match. It worked for a time, as Lynch took control and worked over Hojo's left arm and shoulder, softening it up for "DisArm Her." Hojo continued to use her strong style spirit to persevere, but Lynch is a master technician and knows how to wear an opponent down. It wasn't clear as to whether or not Lynch was in the match to win it or just to injure Hojo, whose title opportunity against Flair looms on October 28. Either way, she was methodical and vicious. Hojo got a second wind and began to mount her offensive comeback. She caught Lynch with her "Interceptor" and followed it up with a "Sliding D." Hojo had it going her way until she went to the top for what appeared to be the vaunted "Diving elbow Drop." Charlotte pushed her off the top rope in plain sight of the referee.

Winner = Kairi Hojo by disqualification in 22:48

Miceli: "That was a blatant attack by Charlotte Flair!"

Young: "They just wanted to hurt Kairi! Winning probably never was the goal!"

Santos: "They're accomplishing that right now!"

They continued to stomp away on Hojo, concentrating on her arm. Finally, Mayu Iwatani, Saki Kashima, and The Starlight Kid ran to ringside to rid the ring of Flair and Lynch, who backed away satisfied with their work.

Miceli: "Well, it looks like Becky Lynch and Charlotte Flair did what they set out to do. Kairi Hojo clearly has an injured wing now! Man, what a volatile hour we've seen here tonight! Fans, we're unfortunately out of time. Please join us again next Thursday on TNT for more Femme Fatales! For Renee Young and Melissa Santos, I'm Madusa Miceli! Keep on rockin' and rollin'!"

Hojo had to be helped from the ring as the episode went off the air. She was very gingerly holding her left arm close to her chest.
