William Regal: "Ladies and gentlemen, welcome to the finest sixty minutes of pro wrestling in the world, the Show Time Power Hour! I'm your host, William Regal. With me are Mauro Ranallo and Jim Cornette! Guys, we have a stellar program lined up for tonight!"
Mauro Ranallo: "Momma Mia, do we ever?! We know that the Tag Team Championship return match will happen, and it'll be 'Lumberjack' style!"
Jim Cornette: "And, you'll see 'The Insurgence' put to rest any talk of not being deserving champions when they destroy 'Sons of Steel!'"
Regal: "Yes, and we'll also Ricochet defend the Mid-Atlantic Championship against Angelico! We'll start it off with that right now!"
Match One ~ NWA: Show Time Mid-Atlantic Championship ~ "The One & Only" Ricochet with AJ Lee vs. Angelico
Winner and STILL NWA: Show Time Mid-Atlantic Champion = Ricochet by submission in 20:44
Regal: "What a win for Ricochet! He pulled out an old submission to finish off the game Angelico!"
Ranallo: "Ricochet won that one clean in one of his best performances to date!"
Cornette: "Ricochet is one of the best in the world and he proved it tonight!"
Regal: "Fans, we'll go to commercial. When we return, the Tag Team Championship is up for grabs!"
Regal: "We're back! Fans, it's time for another championship match! This time, it will be a return bout from last week, as 'The Insurgence' will defend against former champs 'Sons of Steel' in a special 'Lumberjack' match!"
Match Two ~ NWA: Show Time Tag Team Championship ~ "Lumberjack" match ~ "The Insurgence" (Kevin Steen & Claudio Castagnoli) with Jim Cornette vs. "Sons of Steel" (Boomer Payne & Brice Anthony)
Everyone was in place. "Forgotten Sons" were at ringside, as well as "The Revival." Before the bell could ring, this entrance video played on the tron:
Ric Flair: "Charlotte, North Carolina! The Commissioner is in the house and I'm here to make a decision! This is going to be a great return match, but it needs something to put it over the top! So, I've got a surprise! Woooo!"
Just then, this entrance video played on the tron:
Regal: "Oh my! It's Roode and James Storm!"
Flair: "So, it's now going to be a 'Triple Threat' match! One fall to a finish for the Tag Team Championship! And, 'the Richards Collective' will be lumberjacks too!"
This match seemed to go on forever. There were so many pins broken up, it was difficult to keep up. every team looked to have the match won until another opponent jumped in. The finish came after the match had broken into a melee inside and out of the ring. Braun Strowman came out and trounced Adam Cole, taking back his NWA World Championship belt. The referee was distracted by all the goings on around rignside. Meanwhile, Brock Lesnar jumped in and scooped up Boomer Payne for an "F-5." He dropped him hard on the mat and dragged Storm over for the cover. The referee turned to see the cover and made the count before anyone else knew what was going on.
Winners and NEW NWA: Show Time Tag Team Champions = Bobby Roode & James Storm by pinfall in 28:32
Regal: "The match and the championship were giftwrapped by Brock Lesnar for his teammates!"
Ranallo: "Jim Cornette is having a conniption fit outside the ring! What a finish that saw blatant interference from everyone, specifically Brock Lesnar!"
Regal: "It looks like 'The Richards Collective' has added another title to the trophy case! Fans, we're all out of time! Please join us again next Tuesday on TBS for more of the Show Time Power Hour! Don't forget to log onto www.nwashowtime.com for After Buzz with Cathy Kelley! For Mauro Ranallo and Jim Cornette, I'm William Regal, saying ta ta for now!"
NWA: Show Time After Buzz with Cathy Kelley aired as normal.
Kelley regaled fans with her thoughts on the Tag Team Championship main event. She gushed about Strowman's involvement, then went on about how another championship has changed hands due to outside interference by the members of "The Richards Collective." It was the "same old song and dance," as Kelley recounted. "Will this group ever truly get its comeuppance?" That was Kelley's parting question as she signed off.
