Madusa Miceli: "Ladies and gentlemen, welcome to the hottest hour on television, Femme Fatales! I'm your hostess, Madusa Miceli. With me are Renee Young and Melissa Santos! We're live and in living color tonight for a very special episode dedicated to the ongoing saga between both versions of 'The Four Horsewomen!'"
Renee Young: "Three matches will decide the battle for supremacy as we come to you live!"
Melissa Santos: "One faction will assert itself as the dominant group in NWA: Femme Fatales tonight in this best-out-of-three battle!"
Miceli: "We've done all the talking! Now, let's see some fighting! Take it away, Jessica Rose!"
Match One ~ "Submission" match ~ "Lass Kicker" Becky Lynch vs. "Queen of Spades" Shayna Baszler
This match really set the tone for the night. It was a war of attrition early on, as both women dug into their bags of tricks to unleash vast submission arsenals. Both women have MMA backgrounds. Baszler's reputation in the MMA world precedes her. Lynch was a worthy adversary, though. Both women drew oohs and ahhs from the crowd with their strikes and chain wrestling. Controversy struck as the referee was knocked down during an exchange between the combatants. Lynch locked in "DisArm Her" ("Fujiwara Armbar"), which actually got Baszler to tap out when she couldn't escape it. Lynch celebrated at that result and released the hold. She realized the referee had not seen the move, so she attempted to revive her. This gave Baszler time to shake off the effects and recover. Shayna caught Lynch from behind, kneed her in the gut, and hit the "Kirifuda Driver" straight into her "Ace of Spades" ("Rear Naked Choke"). Lynch squirmed and gasped for air as she went for the ropes. Becky began to punch at Shayna's arms, to no avail. Eventually, Lynch went limp. The referee immediately called for the bell.
Winner = Shayna Baszler by referee stoppage/technical submission in 10:15
Miceli: "A big win for Shayna Baszler to start things off, although I'm not really sure she deserves it!"
Young: "Shayna Baszler tapped out to the 'Armbar,' but came back to win it after choking out Becky Lynch!"
Santos: "Shayna may have tapped, but the referee never saw it! So, she gets the controversial win!"
Miceli: "Fans, that puts it a one nothing for the MMA contingent. Let's see if Mercedes KV and Bayley Rose can even the score when we return!"
Miceli: "We're back on this special live edition of Femme Fatales! Before we go back to the ring for the Tag Team Championship match, our newest Japanese interviewer Yuki Kamifuku is standing by with Kairi Hojo. Let's hear what she has to say!"
Yuki Kamifuku: "I am here with Kairi Hojo, former Women's World Champion and perennial top contender. Kairi, Kon'ya no `4-Ri no Hōseusu' habatsu no ma no tatakai ni tsuite no anata no kangae wa nanidesu ka (Kairi, what are your thoughts on tonight's battles between 'The Four Horsewomen' factions)?"
Kairi Hojo: "Watashi wa ko no subete ga dono yō ni katsuyaku shite iru no ka totemo kyōmi ga arimasu. Ichinichinoowari ni, watashi wa Shārotto Furea to Ronda Rūzē no shōsha ga hoshī. Josei no Chanpionshippu wa watashinounmeideari, watashi wa toppu ni modorubeki tokidesu (I am very interested to see how this all plays out. At the end of the day, I want the winner of Charlotte Flair and Ronda Rousey. The Women's Championship is my destiny, and it's time for me to get back to the top)."
Kamifuku: "Dakara, anata wa seishiki ni taitoru kyōsō ni Josei no Chanpion ni chōsen shite imasu ka? Anata ga sono senshuken o kaisai shite kara kanari no jikan ga kakarimashita (So, you are officially challenging the Women's Champion to a title match? It's been quite some time since you have held that championship)."
Hojo: "Hai, watashi wa Sekai Senshuken o amarini mo nagaku mamotte imashitaga, watashi wa Famu Fataru s de chōsen shiyou to shite imasendeshita. Shikashi, watashi wa jibun no michi o bakkuappu shite, hashigo o bakkuappu shimashita. Watashi ga Sutādamu Senshuken no Megami no hanbun o akirameta toki, sore wa koredeshita. Junbi ga dekite imasu (Yes, I spent so long defending the World Championship, I was not around to challenge in Femme Fatales. But, I have worked my way back up the ladder. When I gave up my half of the Goddesses of Stardom Championship, it was for this. I am ready)."
Kamifuku: "Shārotto ya Ronda wa kikendesuga, anata mo sōdesu. Kore wa koten-tekina shiai ni narimasu. Shōrai anata ni saikō no un ga arimasu (Charlotte or Ronda will be dangerous, but you are as well. It will be a classic match. Best of luck to you in the future)."
Hojo: "Dōmo arigatōgozaimashita (Thank you very much)."
Kamifuku: "Madusa, back to you."
Miceli: "So, Kairi's getting back in the hunt! The winner of tonight's main event better be on her toes! Kairi is world class! let's go back to the ring for the Tag Team Championship match!"
Match Two ~ NWA: Femme Fatales Tag Team Championship ~ "The Four Horsewomen" ("Money in the Bank" Mercedes KV & Bayley Rose) vs. "The Four Horsewomen of MMA" ("Supernova from Muldova" Marina Shafir & Jessamyn "The Gun" Duke)
The MMA team was outmatched by the champions, who have vastly more experience inside the ring. However, the toughness and striking ability of Shafir and Duke kept them close. But, KV and Rose dictated much of the pace. Duke was particularly impressive, as she seems to have an aptitude for pro wrestling and might end up being the best of her bunch before their careers are through. Shafir is the harder striker, a cold-blooded assassin when given an opportunity. KV and Rose were up to the task, using their tandem offense and veteran wiles to keep the upper hand. KV hit the "Backstabber" into the "Bank Statement" on Shafir, who writhed in pain. It looked like she might submit, unable to make her way to the ropes. Duke jumped in for the save. Rose joined the fray, making it a four-way melee. As all four ladies were fighting it out, the referee was attempting to restore order. She tried to separate the embattled warriors, but was shoved away by Shafir. She tried to peel the other pair apart, only to be shoved down by Duke. Finally, the referee called for the bell.
Winners and STILL NWA: Femme Fatales Tag Team Champions = Mercedes KV & Bayley Rose by disqualification in 15:49
Miceli: "Shafir and Duke let their tempers get the best of them!"
Young: "Yes, and it cost them a potential victory!"
After the match result, Shafir and Duke continued their attack, leaving the champions laying. Satisfied with their work, they raised each other's hand, signifying a moral victory of sorts.
Miceli: "Whoa! That postmatch beat down was impressive!"
Young: " I can't argue with that!"
"Santos: "They may have lost the battle, but Marina and Jessamyn won the war tonight! But, it's now one match apiece! The main event will decide the winners of the night!"
Miceli: "Yes, indeed! We'll see that match next! Stay with us!"
Miceli: "We're back on the live episode of Femme Fatales! So far, Shayna Baszler has won a controversial decision against Becky Lynch, while Tag Team Champions Mercedes KV and Bayley Rose retained after Marina Shafir and Jessamyn Duke were disqualified! The main event is for all the marbles, as Charlotte Flair defends the Women's Championship against Ronda Rousey! Fans, Lilian Garcia is with the champ right now!"
Lilian Garcia: "I'm here with Women's Champion Charlotte Flair. Charlotte, you're about to face one of your toughest and most unique challenges to date when you go one-on-one with the baddest woman on the planet, 'Rowdy' Ronda Rousey. You obviously have much more experience in the ring than she does, but you must be concerned with her pedigree in combat sports."
Charlotte Flair: "Her pedigree?! What about my pedigree?! That's the one everyone should be talking about! I'm genetically superior! I'm the daughter of the greatest wrestler of all time! I am a multi-sport athlete and the most gifted performer in the world! Ronda Rousey should be shaking in her boots at the prospect of facing me!"
Garcia: "While that may be true, you have to consider Ronda a dangerous opponent."
Flair: "Sure, she's dangerous in the octagon, but we're in the squared circle and I'm deadly weapon in the ring! Ronda Rousey won't last five minutes with me!"
Garcia: "There you have it. Back to you, Madusa."
Miceli: "Thanks, Lil! Strong words from our champion. Let's hope she can back them up! Ronda Rousey declined an interview, saying 'actions speak louder than words.' So, there's nothing left but to get it on! Let's go back to the ring for our blockbuster main event!"
Match Three ~ NWA: Femme Fatales Women's Championship ~ Charlotte Flair vs. "Rowdy" Ronda Rousey
Not only did Ronda Rousey last more than five minutes, but she took the champion to the distance. Rousey used powerful strikes and lightning quick judo takedowns to throw Charlotte off her game. Never before had Charlotte been tested quite like this. She kept the match methodical, eventually capitalizing on Rousey's inexperience to gain an advantage. Charlotte worked on Rousey's left leg, a classic throwback to the days of her father's heyday. Flair got closer and closer to applying the "Figure Eight Leglock" with each passing minute. Rousey staved Charlotte off for what seemed like an eternity, lasting much longer than some would have guessed. Charlotte did cinch in the "Figure Eight," but Rousey amazingly held on. She would not tap out. Ronda finally maneuvered enough to knowck Charlotte down from her "Bridge," but Flair maintained the "Figure Four." Rousey dragged herself to the ropes to force a break. Charlotte was flabbergasted. She paused for several seconds to compose herself and look for her next plan of offense. This gave Ronda time to regain her footing. She uncorked some body shots that backed Flair into the corner. Ronda essentially was a one-legged woman at this point, but here hands still worked perfectly, furiously punching Flair from head to abdomen. Charlotte staggered out of the corner and was taken down with a Judo "Hiptoss" that bounced her off the mat. Ronda looked at the crowd and signaled for her signature "Armbar." As she grabbed Charlotte's arm, Manami Toyota appeared from the back and jumped up onto the apron. The referee ran over to admonish her just as Rousey applied the "Armbar" to a prone Charlotte. Flair screamed out in pain as she tried to block the move by clasping her hands together. As Ronda fought her off, Io Shirai appeared out of the crowd. Ronda finally got the "Armbar" on Flair, but Shirai kicked her in the back of the head. Rousey dropped to the mat as Shirai scurried out through the crowd. Toyota dropped from her perch on the apron and stepped away as the referee turned her attention back toward the ring. Charlotte got up and leveled Rousey with "Natural Selection," getting the pinfall.
Winner and STILL NWA: Femme Fatales Women's Champion = Charlotte Flair by pinfall in 25:33
Miceli: "Charlotte won it thanks to the big assist from Manami Toyota and Io Shirai!"
Young: "Ronda had just locked in that 'Armbar!' That would have been it! We would have seen a new champion crowned without that interference!"
Santos: "Once again, we see the associate Io Shirai paying dividends to 'The Four Horsewomen!' And, she got a little payback from last week!"
Miceli: "No question about it! Io Shirai is really the fifth 'Horsewoman!' Charlotte was dead in the water if not for her interference! So, with that, the final tally is two-to-one for pro wrestling's version of 'The Four Horsewomen!' However, none of us believe this thing is over, probably not by a longshot! Fans, join us again next Thursday on TNT for more Femme Fatales! For Renee Young and Melissa Santos, I'm Madusa Miceli! Keep on rockin' and rollin'!"
