William Regal: "Ladies and gentlemen, welcome to the finest sixty minutes of pro wrestling in the world, the Show Time Power Hour! I'm your host, William Regal. With me are Mauro Ranallo and Jim Cornette! Gentlemen, we have a new NWA World Heavyweight Champion, and he's a monster!"
Mauro Ranallo: "Yes sir! This past Sunday, the immovable object met the irresistible force! And, for the first time in his NWA career, Brock Lesnar was pinned cleanly! Braun Strowman stands alone at the top of the mountain!"
Jim Cornette: "Who care about that?! Let's get to the real story! That con artist EC3 stole the US Title from Kevin Steen!"
Regal: "Yes, the United States Championship match was fraught with controversy. Kevin Steen did appear to have Ethan Carter the Third pinned for quite a few seconds, with no referee to count the fall."
Cornette: "I've already sent in a petition to the NWA Board of Governors, and I'm going to talk to Jordan Richards personally, if I can corner him today!"
Regal: "Honestly, I'd do the same thing, Jim. Carter certainly was a worthy contender, but it looked like Steen should have won the match."
Cornette: "He had that spoiled little rich boy dead to rights!"
Regal: "Indeed. Moving along, we have a great episode lined up tonight, fans! 'Moustache Mountain' will challenge 'Euro Trash' for the Cruiserweight Tag Team Championship! Also, we'll see a day in the life of Kota Ibushi and his newly won valet Miho Abe! That should be an interesting look! In our main event, Bray Wyatt takes on Jay Lethal and CM Punk in a 'Number One Contender's' match! The winner will get a shot at Adam Cole's Heavyweight Championship! Let's go to the ring for Cruiserweight action!"
Match One ~ NWA: Show Time Cruiserweight Tag Team Championship ~ "Euro Trash" ("The Villain" Marty Scurll & Aleister Black) vs. "Moustache Mountain" (Trent Seven & Tyler Bate)
This faction rivalry between "Euro Trash" and "British Strong Style" has lit up the Cruiserweight division for months now. This match was no different. All four men employ the hard-hitting European style, but with slight variances. Tyler Bate is an exciting mix of strength and athleticism. Aleister Black is calculated and includes martial arts in his offense. Scurll and Seven both are unorthodox in their approaches and are more difficult to plan for. All in all, this was a fantastic tag team match-up. After absorbing some major punishment, Seven made the tag to Bate, who was a house of fire coming in. He floored Black and Scurll several times in a row. He then hit "Deadlift German Suplexes" on both. All four men then went at it. Black was taken out by a dive from Bate. Seven hoisted Scurll onto his shoulders in a "Backbreaker Rack." Bate flew off the top rope and nailed a "Kneedrop" onto Marty's skull as Seven dropped him to the mat. Three seconds later, the crowd exploded.
Winners and NEW NWA: Show Time Cruiserweight Tag Team Champions = "Moustache Mountain" by pinfall in 22:18
Regal: "Oh my! 'Moustache Mountain' has just become the new Cruiserweight Tag Team Champions!"
Ranallo: "Are you kidding me?! Listen to this crowd! The place is going ballistic!"
Cornette: "That was a fair tag team match! I'm impressed with both teams. They're no 'Camp Cornette,' but good stuff."
Regal: "Fans, the celebration is on! We have to take a break. We'll be back with highlights of this weekend's 'Great American Bash!' Stay tuned!"
Cornette: "Don't remind me!"
Regal: "We're back! As promised, here are some quick highlights of the all the matches that concerned NWA: Show Time!"
A highlight package was shown that aired stills of the three matches featuring NWA: Show Time stars. The commentators speculated as to the insane dynamic between husband and wife CM Punk and AJ Lee. Cornette went on and on about how Kevin Steen had Ethan Carter III down for at least ten seconds. All three marveled at how Braun Strowman withstood two "F-5's" en route to being the first man to pin Brock Lesnar clean since the NWA relaunch in 2015.
Regal: "Now, shifting gears a bit, we have some more footage. As you know, Kota Ibushi defeated Taichi Ishikari and his wife Ofune in a 'Handicap' match last week. As a result, he won the services of Taichi's girlfriend and valet, Miho Abe, for thirty days. Ibushi took Abe home with him and we had a cameraman film their daily routines. Here's that footage now!"
Some hilarious footage aired of Kota Ibushi ordering Miho Abe to wash dishes, take out garbage, and even wash his car. Abe was forced to wear sweats to cover herself up. Ibushi would not let her show any "skin," as is her customary attire. A particularly funny instance saw Abe being made to feed Kota grapes, much to her chagrin.
Regal: "That is some entertaining stuff! Kota Ibushi really is taking advantage of his new valet!"
Ranallo: "I think she, Taichi, and Ofune deserve everything they're getting!"
Cornette: "I think it's all ridiculous! He's turning us into a soap opera!"
Regal: "Easy, Jim. It's all in good fun. Fans, we'll take another break and be back with our main event straight away!"
Regal: "We're back! Let's go to the ring for this 'Three-way Number One Contender's' match!"
Match Two ~ "Three-Way Dance" ~ "Number One Contender's" match ~ CM Punk vs. "Eater of Worlds" Bray Wyatt with "Spirit of Abigail" Maria Kanellis vs. Jay Lethal with Truth Martini and "Hoopla Hotties" (Shotzi Blakkhartt, Zahra, & Dana Adiva)
This match had it all: drama, excitement, near falls, chain wrestling, counters, and even some interference. In fact, Ricochet came to ringside and confronted CM Punk three-quarters in. Punk went after Ricochet, effectively taking him out of the match. That left Lethal and Wyatt to duke it out. Jay cleverly avoided most of Bray's heavy strikes. He even managed to hit "Lethal Injection," but Wyatt got his foot on the rope at the last second. Kanellis made her presence felt. She distracted Jay long enough for him to fall victim to Bray's signature "Sister Abigail," which earned him the victory.
Winner = Bray Wyatt by pinfall in 20:47
Wyatt basked in his win until Heavyweight Champion Adam Cole stepped to the entrance ramp with Britt Baker.
Adam Cole: "Hey Bray, congratulations! It looks like you've just become the next statistic in the growing resume' of Adam Cole, bay bay! I'll gladly put the Heavyweight Championship up against you next week, but what do you say we make it interesting? I kind of like that title belt you had made for yourself. That's cute, by the way. You can't win a championship, so you just create one. Anyway, how about you put that title on the line against this (points to the Heavyweight Championship belt draped over his shoulder)? Winner takes all?"
Bray Stood up and smiled.
Bray Wyatt: "Hehehe. I accept your challenge, Adam Cole! Not only will I take your gold, but I'll add it to mine, man! You may have all the flash and the corporate backing, but you cannot possibly overtake the embodiment of all evil! We'll see you next Tuesday!"
Regal: "That is going to be a very interesting main event indeed! Fans, please join us again next Tuesday on TBS for more of the Show Time Power Hour! And, don't forget to log onto www.nwashowtime.com to catch After Buzz with Cathy Kelley immediately following our broadcast! For Mauro Ranallo and Jim Cornette, I'm William Regal, saying ta ta for now!"
NWA: Show Time After Buzz with Cathy Kelley aired as normal.
Kelley first covered the topic of the title vs. title showdown next week between Adam Cole and Bray Wyatt. Kelley noted the dominance of Cole this year, but noted how scary and dangerous Wyatt can be. Kelley was then joined by the new Cruiserweight Tag Team Champions 'Moustache Mountain,' who were stoked as one would imagine. Trent Seven, the outspoken member of the team, went on and on about how much the victory meant to he and former trainee Bate. Tyler chimed in that he has been on a tear himself recently and this win was the culmination of a lot of hard work and guts. Seven spoke highly of "Euro Trash," but said that their reign of terror is over and "British Strong Style" are the new boys in town. With that, Kelley signed off.
