William Regal: "Ladies and gentlemen, welcome to the finest sixty minutes of pro wrestling in the world, the Show Time Power Hour! I'm your host, William Regal. With me are Mauro Ranallo and hall of famer Jim Cornette! We have a fantastic program lined up tonight, featuring two big title matches!"
Mauro Ranallo: "'The Goddess' Alexa Bliss is set to make an improbable challenge to reigning Television Champion 'Glorious' Bobby Roode! Can she pull off the monumental upset?!"
Jim Cornette: "We'll also see that TV time hog CM Punk continue his Mid-Atlantic Championship open challenge! I hope he gets his comeuppance tonight, so we don't have to see him every stinking week! Maybe I'll send one of my guys after him!"
Regal: "Jim, CM Punk is trying to establish the Mid-Atlantic Championship as a premier title in this company. What better way than to defend it every week?"
Cornette: "Because that means I have to see CM Punk every week! Nobody wants that!"
Regal: "I think that's one man's opinion. Regardless, we'll see that match later on. Speaking of Mid-Atlantic Championships, Commissioner Ric Flair will reveal the tournament bracket and the details surrounding the Mid-Atlantic Tag Team Championship tonight! But first, we're in the ring with Cruiserweight action!"
Match One ~ "Crowe's Nest" (Solomon Crowe, "The Man Gravity Forgot" Adrian Neville, & Jonathan Gresham with Hangman Page) vs. "British Strong Style" ("Bruiserweight" Pete Dunne, Tyler Bate, & "Moustache Mountain" Trent Seven)
This was a very enthralling, and surprisingly hard-hitting affair. Back and forth the action went as both teams displayed their wares. "BSS" is a known six-man commodity. Dunne is sadistic and brutal, Bate is smooth and athletic, and Seven is unorthodox and entertaining. With this particular combination of "Crowe's Nest," it was a mixed bag. Crowe, like Dunne, is sadistic. Gresham, much like Bate, is smooth and athletic. Neville was the real wildcard here. He is a legendary highflyer and a Cruiserweight icon. His prowess in the ring is unmatched in many ways. There were many moving parts in this match. The edn came down in furious fashion. Gresham had Dunne locked in an "Octopus Stretch." Seven came out of nowhere and blasted Jonathan off Pete with his "Seven Star Lariat." Dunne then executed "Bitter End" to pin Gresham as his teammates kept the ring clear.
Winners = "British Strong Style" by pinfall in 19:04
Regal: "Bloody phenomenal match!"
Ranallo: "Momma Mia, what action!"
Cornette: "Great ring awareness by Trent Seven to help his team get the victory!"
Dunne grabbed a microphone after the finish.
Pete Dunne: "We just proved why 'British Strong Style' is the top group in the Cruiserweight division! We've beaten everyone! Now, it's finally time for us to take the Cruiserweight Championships! I'm issuing a challenge to 'Euro Trash' right now! 'Moustache Mountain' and Tyler Bate want the Tag Titles, and I want Zack Sabre, Jr., all to myself! Come on boys, let's see what you've got!"
"Euro Trash" came to the entrance ramp. Zack Sabre, Jr. had a microphone.
Zack Sabre, Jr.: "So, you three think you're better than us? We're standing here with all the titles. That makes us the best. But, I'll tell you what. If you can beat us in a six-man next week, we'll give you the title matches your asking for."
Dunne: "Your on!"
Regal: "Oh my! Well, it looks like we have one whale of a six-man tag team match for next week! Fans, we need to take a break. We'll be back next with CM Punk's latest open challenge!"
Regal: "We're back! Fans, before we go to the ring, here are some comments from Alexa Bliss concerning tonight's Television Championship match. Take a listen."
The tron flashed this image of Alexa Bliss lying poolside.
Alexa Bliss: "Tonight, 'The Goddess' will make history as the first female to win a singles title in NWA: Show Time. Well, I didn't come here to be eye candy, even though I obviously am. I came here to blaze a trail. I've already done that. I mean, I'm one-half of the first ever 'Mixed Match Challenge' winners, and I'm fifty thousand dollars richer. Tonight, I take another step into the record books. Bobby Roode, you're one of the best wrestlers in the world. But, so am I. Tonight, I'm going to shock the world and you're going to experience a little 'Twisted Bliss.'"
Regal: "Those were very confident words from Alexa Bliss. I'm wondering what sort of tricks she might have up her sleeves."
Ranallo: "It's going to take that or a miracle for Alexa Bliss to beat someone the caliber of Bobby Roode."
Cornette: "This match is a complete farce! Alexa Bliss should not be allowed to put her career in jeopardy by wrestling Bobby Roode tonight! It's insane!"
Regal: "That may be, but she was to be granted any match she chose, and this was it, as you well know. Let's shift gears. It's now time to see who will step up to the plate and challenge CM Punk for the Mid-Atlantic Championship!"
CM Punk came to the ring with AJ Lee amid much fanfare.
CM Punk: "Well, one week down, a hundred more to go! Who's the next contestant to take the Mid-Atlantic Championship open challenge?!"
The crowd erupted when this music hit:
Regal: "Holy cow!"
Match Two ~ NWA: Show Time Mid-Atlantic Championship ~ "Open Challenge" ~ CM Punk with AJ Lee vs. Kota Ibushi
Winner and STILL NWA: Show Time Mid-Atlantic Champion = CM Punk by pinfall in 12:21
Regal: "Another outstanding match on this program! Two of the premier wrestlers in the world going at it!"
Ranallo: "That was a thing of beauty! Kota Ibushi was right there, but CM Punk turned back the challenge!"
Cornette: "He escaped by the skin of his teeth, if you ask me!"
Regal: "As they say, a win's a win. Wow! Fans, let's take another break. We'll be back with the introduction of the Mid-Atlantic Tag Team Championship tournament brackets next! Stay with us!"
Regal: "We're back! As we said before the break, Commissioner Ric Flair is set to give us all the details about the crowning of our first ever Mid-Atlantic Tag Team Champions! Let's go to the ring and Scarlett Bordeaux for the introductions!"
Scarlett Bordeaux: "Ladies and gentlemen, please welcome Commissioner Ric Flair."
Ric Flair: "Charlotte, North Carolina! Woooo! The 'Nature Boy' is here to spill the beans about the newest titles being introduced to this company! Since I brought the Mid-Atlantic Championship back, I figured I'd bring another title back to compliment it. I'm a former Mid-Atlantic Champion, as you know. That title carries and proud lineage. But, the very first championship I ever held in my career was the Mid-Atlantic Tag Team Titles with Rip Hawk! Woooo! Well, we're bringing them back! Sixteen teams will compete for the right to be known as the first ever NWA: Show Time Mid-Atlantic Tag Team Champions! In fact, let's reveal the brackets right now!"
The tournament brackets were displayed on the tron.

Flair: "So, the big question is, when's this tournament going down?! Well, it won't happen over one night, but two! On Wednesday, June sixth, The first round will be held at Bon Secours Wellness Arena in Greenville, South Carolina! The quarterfinals, semis, and championship rounds will be held on Saturday, June ninth at the Greensboro Coliseum! So, in two weeks, new champions will be crowned! Woooo!"
Regal: "There is a potential for some dream match-ups in this bracket! I can't wait!"
Ranallo: "A two-night tournament to take place in the Carolinas for the Mid-Atlantic Tag Team Championship! No, it's not nineteen eighty-two! It's two thousand eighteen and the titles have been revived!"
Cornette: "What a nostalgic championship and a rich heritage that one of these teams will be a part of, and my money's on 'Camp Cornette,' because I have two dogs in this fight!"
Regal: "Indeed you do, Jim. It's a star-studded lineup. Whichever team wins it will earn it for sure. Fans, we're going to take one more break, then we're back with our Television Championship main event!"
As the episode came back from commercial, the scene was Alexa Bliss' locker room. She was talking to someone unseen initially.
Bliss: "I need to make sure everything goes according to plan. I want you out there with me to guarantee that not only do I survive, but that I win! Got it?"
The camera panned over to show Braun Strowman.
Braun Strowman: "Yeah, I got it. Don't worry. That belt is as good as yours."
Bliss had a devious smile on her face as the scene cut away to commentary.
Regal: "Well, I told you she had a few tricks up her sleeve."
Ranallo: "That's a mighty big sleeve to house a trick the size of the gargantuan Braun Strowman!"
Cornette: "Mauro, we finally agree on something! What Alexa Bliss has done is secure herself an insurance policy!"
Match Three ~ NWA: Show Time Television Championship ~ "Glorious" Bobby Roode with "Stone Cold" Steve Austin & Maryse Ouellet vs. "The Goddess" Alexa Bliss with "The Monster Among Men" Braun Strowman
This match, as you might expect, was dominated by Bobby Roode. Alexa Bliss, much smaller than he, had no answers for the technical expertise of Roode. She managed to get in some offense in very shorts spurts, but they were cut off by Roode each time. Bobby went for, and hit the "Glorious DDT." He made a very nonchalant cover, knowing the match was all but over. Strowman slipped Bliss' foot over the bottom rope to break up the pin. Roode was beside himself. Austin and Ouellet were outside the ring screaming at the referee. Roode began to shout at Strowman. Bobby inched to the ropes, where he leaned over and berated Braun. The referee was still trying to restore order on the other side of the ring with "Stone Cold" and Maryse. Roode spat at Strowman, but then was goozled by him. Braun then leveled Roode with a thunderous punch. Bobby dropped like a shot in the ring near the corner. Bliss, who had somewhat recovered by this time, saw her chance. She scaled the rope and went for "Twisted Bliss." At the same time, Braun went running headlong and plowed through The Rock and Adam Cole, who had run down to attempt interference. Bliss covered the dazed champion for the pin. Roode kicked out just after the third count.
Regal: "I can't believe it! Alexa Bliss is the new Television Champion! I never thought I'd say that!"
Ranallo: "'Five Feet of Fury' has just made Bobby Roode and the rest of 'The Richards Collective' furious after taking the Television Championship!"
Cornette: "She took it all right! It was thievery! Braun Strowman giftwrapped the title with a bow on top!"
Bliss and Strowman grabbed the championship and made their way up the ramp as everyone else recovered.
Regal: "Yes, there was some blatant interference from Braun Strowman, who did exactly what Alexa Bliss asked of him. He made sure she survived and then won the match! She is the new Television Champion! Fans, we're out of time! Please join us again next Tuesday on TBS for more of the Show Time Power Hour! And, go ahead and log onto www.nwashowtime.com to catch After Buzz with Cathy Kelley! For Mauro Ranallo and Jim Cornette, I'm William Regal, saying ta ta for now!"
NWA: Show Time After Buzz with Cathy Kelley aired as normal.
Kelley went on and on about Alexa Bliss becoming the first woman to win a man's singles championship in company history, iterating that Bliss had "cemented her legacy forever." Bliss then showed up on the broadcast and posed with the title belt.
Bliss gave an interview and thanked Braun Strowman for always watching her back and declared, "As long as he's with me, I'll never let go of this championship!" Kelley speculated that probably was an accurate statement as she signed off.
