"Show Time Power Hour" TV Taping Number 77 (Week 153)

Winner and STILL NWA: Show Time Mid-Atlantic Champion = CM Punk by pinfall in 14:18

Regal: "A triumphant first defense in the Mid-Atlantic open challenge for CM Punk!"

Ranallo: "What a fast-paced, counter filled match-up! Those two had more chemistry than a periodic table!"

Cornette: "Like him or not, and I don't, CM Punk is a world class wrestler. But, Shelty B proved he belongs on that stage as well!"

Regal: "Indeed! Fans, let's take a break. We'll return with more action in just a moment!"

Regal: "We're back! We're about to witness what promises to be a battle in the ring next! Before we do, let's go to 'SoCal' Val, who is standing by with 'War Machine.' Let's hear their thoughts!"

Valerie Wyndham: "I'm here with Hanson and Raymond Rowe, who are set to take on Killian Dain and Alexander Wolfe. Gentlemen, this is expected to be violent. Are you prepared for the unpredictable nature of Dain and Wolfe?"

Hanson: "We are always prepared for war! Killian Dain and Alexander Wolfe will be caught in the crossfire!"

Raymond Rowe: "They call themselves 'The New Face of Fear.' They will know true fear tonight. And, they'll be part of the 'Fallout!'"

Wyndham: "Back to you, William."

Regal: "Ominous words from 'War Machine.' Let's see how this plays out."

Match Two ~ "War Machine" ("WarBeard" Hanson & Raymond "Death" Rowe) vs. "The New Face of Fear" (Killian Dain & Alexander Wolfe with "Spirit of Abigail" Maria Kanellis)

This was indeed a war, as it was expected to be. Dain and Wolfe are a chaotic bunch and that translates to how they work. 'War Machine' is more collected, but they can brawl with the best of them. Hanson and Rowe controlled much of the match, but Dain and Wolfe hung in there and used Kanellis to their advantage as a distraction. "War Machine" went for their "Fallout" finisher. Kanellis shook the ropes, which caused Hanson to fall. This allowed Dain to interfere and take out Rowe with "Cóiste Bodhar" for the win.

Winners =  "The New Face of Fear" by pinfall in 17:28

Regal: "Maria directly interfered in that match and changed its trajectory!"

Ranallo: "That was highway robbery!"

Cornette: "I win's a win! At the end of the day, Dain and Wolfe got their hands raised!"

Regal: "True enough. Fans, we'll take another break. Our main event is next up! Stay tuned!"

Regal: "We're back! Fans, it's main event time! And, we have two NWA World Champions squaring off for the first time ever on this program! This should be a very interesting match! I can't wait!"

Match Three ~ NWA World Heavyweight Champion "The Beast" Brock Lesnar with Eve Torres vs. NWA World Jr. Heavyweight Champion "King of Bros" Matt Riddle with "No Fly" Drew Gulak

Riddle clearly began the match intimidated and rethinking his social media burial of "The Beast." Lesnar stalked Riddle, who evaded him at all costs. Finally, Brock got his hands on Matt and dropped him with four straight "German Suplexes." Riddle continued to try sticking and moving. Lesnar just kept coming. Riddle did nail a leaping knee to Lesnar's face, which dazed Brock. Riddle then pounced and began to lay in knees and other strikes, which got Lesnar stumbling. Matt then locked in the "Bromission," which had Brock hurting. Riddle yelled as he wrenched back. Brock's face was turning purple as he struggled to escape. Lesnar then began to roll over with Riddle still attached to him. Brock finally stood up with a surprised Riddle still grasping the hold. Brock ran backwards, sandwiching Matt into the corner. Lesnar stumbled out to mid-ring as Riddle struggled to get his breath. Riddle then ran and jumped on Brock's back. Lesnar manhandled him into "F-5" position and uncorked a thunderous "F-5." As he went for the pin, Gulak jumped in to cause the DQ.

Winner = Brock Lesnar by disqualification in 15:03

After the match, Gulak and Riddle went after Lesnar. They were soon joined by Fred Yehi and Tracy Williams. Lesnar fought them all off as Adam Cole and Bobby Roode ran to the ring. They slid in as Lesnar shed the last of his opponents.

Regal: "Brock Lesnar just fought off all of 'Catch Point!' But, before that, Matt Riddle gave him everything he could handle!"

Ranallo: "Brock Lesnar was a one-man wrecking crew!"

Cornette: "Brock Lesnar is box office money and he showed why here!"

Regal: "Fans, we have to take one more break! When we return, Braun Strowman and Alexa Bliss will receive their check and name their matches! Stay with us!"

Regal: "We're back! It's time for the official check presentation for 'Team Little Big.' Let's go to the ring and Scarlett Bordeaux for the introductions!"

Scarlett Bordeaux: "Ladies and gentlemen, please welcome Commissioner Ric Flair and CEO Jordan Richards."

"Ladies and Gentlemen" by Saliva played to bring out Ric Flair, Jordan Richards, and Karlee Perez.

Ric Flair: "Last week, we saw the conclusion of the 'Show Time Femme Fatales Mixed Match Challenge.' Now, the team that should have won did not. I personally believe 'Robe Warriors' should be standing here with us. But, I digress. It is now time to present the spoils of victory to the winners, 'Team Little Big.' So, at this time, Braun Strowman and Alexa Bliss, come on out here now."

"Team Little Big" came to the ring to great fanfare.

Flair: "For the official presentation, I'll throw it over to our esteemed CEO, Jordan Richards."

Jordan Richards: "The stipulation of the tournament mandated that the winners receive this check for one hundred thousand dollars. I'm a man of my word, so here it is."

This large check was presented to Strowman and Bliss, which drew a great response.

Richards: "Now then. The second part of the stipulation dictates that the winners get to choose any match they want. So, Alexa, Braun, what's it going to be?"

Alexa Bliss: "Ladies first, right? Well, 'The Goddess' has been thinking about this for a week! I've decided that I want the Television Championship!"

Braun Strowman: "Wait a minute, Alexa! This is supposed to be your match! Are you saying you want me to beat Bobby Roode to win back the TV Championship?! I had another match in mind for myself!"

Bliss: "Braun, you don't understand! I don't want you to win the TV Title! I want it for myself! I'm challenging Bobby Roode for the Television Championship next week!"

Richards: "Are you serious?! We've never had a woman challenge for a men's singles championship, and especially not against a world class athlete like Bobby Roode!"

Bliss: "You said any match we want and that is what I want!"

Flair: "All right. You asked for it. Be careful what you wish for. Next week, it's your funeral, darling."

Richards: "So, Braun, what is your match?"

Strowman walked directly up to Richards, backing him into the corner.

Strowman: "I want Brock Lesnar for the World Title at the 'Great American Bash!' Make it happen, or else!"

Intimidated, Richards quickly said, "Okay! Okay! I have to run it by the Board of Governors, but I'll make it happen!"

Strowman: "That's what I thought!"

Just then, Lesnar's music hit to bring out the World Champion for an epic stare down. The fans were screaming, "This is awesome!"

Regal: "Ladies and gentlemen, history has been made! Alexa Bliss will challenge for the Television Championship next week and Braun Strowman will take on Brock Lesnar at the NWA's next pay-per-view, 'Great American Bash!' What a happening and what a night! Unfortunately, we're out of time for this week. Please join us next Tuesday on TBS for more of the Show Time Power Hour!
