William Regal: "Ladies and gentlemen, welcome to the finest sixty minutes of pro wrestling in the world, the Show Time Power Hour! I'm your host, William Regal. With me are Michael Hayes and Jim Cornette! Gents, the 'Show Time Femme Fatales Mixed Match Challenge' begins tonight!"
Michael Hayes: "Yes sir! We'll see the tourney start off with 'Deadman, Inc.' against 'War Asylum!'"
Jim Cornette: "It should be mildly entertaining, yes. But, I'm more interested in the main event!"
Regal: "This one should be epic. Killian Dain will face Braun Strowman. If Dain wins, Strowman must rejoin 'The New Face of Fear' and forfeit his alliance with Alexa Bliss. If he wins, he is free to pursue it. The stakes are huge for that battle! But, before we get there, let's go to our first match of the evening!"
Match One ~ "The Man Gravity Forgot" Adrian Neville with Solomon Crowe vs. Jack Evans with Taya
Winner = Adrian Neville by pinfall in 22:36
Regal: "Fantastic win by my countryman Neville! He has surprisingly gotten back on track since joining 'Crowe's Nest!'"
Hayes: "I'll have to admit it. I wasn't sold on that move at first, but he has benefitted from it so far."
Cornette: "Solomon Crowe is somewhat of an evil genius. It makes sense that his guiding Adrian Neville would get him back on the winning side."
Regal: "Jack Evans was cooking until Neville dropped him on his head. It was all downhill from there. Fans, We'll take a commercial break, then return with 'Mixed Match Challenge' action!"
Regal: "We're back! Fans, we're about to start the tournament! Before the teams go to the ring, let's hear from them."
Valerie Wyndham: "I'm here with Raymond Rowe and 'Crazy' Mary Dobson, who make up 'War Asylum.' You will be facing The Undertaker and Michelle McCool. How do you prepare for such a unique pairing?"
Raymond Rowe: "No differently than any other opponent. I'm part of the most physically dominant tag team in the world with Hanson. We don't need strategy changes for any team. We are full force and straight ahead against any and all comers. Mary and I plan on doing the same thing tonight that 'War Machine' and 'The Asylum' do on a daily basis. We will destroy the opposition!"
Mary Dobson: "Besides, we're not just some thrown together tag team. We've been together for years."
Wyndham: "Let me ask about that. Your team isn't just thrown together. You're a couple outside of wrestling, the same as 'Deadman, Inc.' Will that help you against some of the teams that did just come together for this tournament?"
Dobson: "Of course! We know the thoughts in each other's twisted minds. We know the destruction the other one is plotting without having to ask. We're on the same wavelength. And tonight, The Undertaker and his wife will rest in peace."
Joanna Rose: "I am here with Michelle McCool, who will be teaming with her husband, the legendary Undertaker, in moments to face the team of Raymond Rowe and 'Crazy' Mary Dobson. Now, you and your husband had very different careers and you never had the opportunity to team together until now. Will that hamper you?"
Michelle McCool: "Not at all. We train together every day of our lives. We live life together. We work out together. And yes, we spar together. So, we no novices in this ring. We're both multi-time champions and two of the best ever. If Rowe and Dobson think that just because they date, they have an edge, please. Mark and I do life together! And, we do this sport better than anyone else! So, in a few short minutes, we're going to go out there and take care of business. And, it's going to be flawless!"
Regal: "There you have it! Let's get the 'Mixed Match Challenge' started!"
Match Two ~ "Show Time Femme Fatales Mixed Match Challenge" Round One ~ "Deadman, Inc." (The Undertaker and Michelle McCool) vs. "War Asylum" (Raymond "Death" Rowe & "Crazy" Mary Dobson)
This one was exactly what we expected in terms of action. However, the women stole the show and had most of the offense. McCool showed she still had it against a game Dobson, whose power was on display. Rowe and 'Taker had there moments as well, particularly a corner series where UT threw his soup bones in rapid fires succession at Rowe, only to see Raymond come back with a knee strike as Undertaker charged at him. Ultimately, McCool got the pin after her "Faith Breaker" finisher.
Winners = "Deadman, Inc." by pinfall in 10:29
Regal: "Our legend's team has made it through and will challenge Adam Cole and Britt Baker in a couple of weeks! What a start!"
Hayes: "If this match was any indication, we should be in for a wild ride!"
Cornette: "It's going to be a long few weeks! 'Mixed Tag Team' matches are pointless and sully what is the art form of tag team wrestling."
Regal: "Well, that's one man's cynical opinion. Everyone else enjoys them. We'll take another break. Back with the main event in just a moment!"
Regal: "Fans, we're back and it's time for these two behemoths to battle for Braun Strowman's future fate!"
Match Three ~ If Braun Strowman loses, he is forced to rejoin "The New Face of Fear" ~ "The Monster Among Men" Braun Strowman vs. Killian Dain with "Spirit of Abigail" Maria Kanellis
The referee gave plenty of latitude in this one, as it spilled to the outside early on. The announce table and ringside barricade were pretty much destroyed before all was said and done. Dain put Braun through the barricade with a massive "Crossbody Press." Later on, Braun wiped Dain out with a "Powerslam" onto the announcer's table, scattering Regal, Hayes, and Cornette, along with flattening Dain and leaving Braun laying as well. Eventually, the two made it back into the ring. It was tit for tat, nip and tuck, throughout. Braun gained the advantage at the end, catching Dain in another "Crossbody" attempt and planting him with a "Running Powerslam" to end it.
Winner = Braun Strowman by pinfall in 21:08
Regal: "That was a career-defining win for Braun Strowman!"
Bray Wyatt, Alexander Wolfe, and Erick Rowan stormed the ring to attack Strowman. Alexa Bliss came sprinting to the ring with a steel chair. She scaled to the top rope with the chair in hand. Wolfe turned to see her. Bliss, though looking panicked, acted quickly. She threw the chair to Wolf, who caught it. At the same time, she leapt off the top rope with a "Missile Dropkick" that sent the chair directly into Wolfe's face. He went sprawling as Bliss then picked up the chair and whacked Rowan in the back with it. Erick turned around and seethed at Bliss. He began to stalk her. This gave Strowman time to fight off Wyatt and take out Rowan with a "Clothesline" to the outside of the ring. Braun scooped Bliss up and took her up the entrance ramp as fans cheered. When they got to the top, Strowman turned around triumphantly. Bliss was sitting atop his massive shoulder and posing.
Regal: "What a scene! As the newest pair in NWA: Show Time, 'Team Little Big,' stands tall! Fans, that's all the time we have for this week. Please join us again next Tuesday on TBS for more of the Show Time Power Hour and the 'Mixed Match Challenge!' And, log on to www.nwashowtime.com for After Buzz with Cathy Kelley immediately following our broadcast! For Michael Hayes and Jim Cornette, I'm William Regal, saying ta ta for now!"
NWA: Show Time After Buzz with Cathy Kelley aired as normal.
Kelley celebrated Braun Strowman's victory and emancipation from Bray Wyatt's clutches. Cathy discussed their future match in the "Show Time Femme Fatales Mixed Match Challenge," speculated what sort of damage the two might be able to do together. Bliss and Strowman came in for a brief interview. Braun said it feels good to be rid of Bray Wyatt's influence, but that he knows the feud is only just beginning. Strowman promised that he would "end the myth of Bray Wyatt." Bliss chimed in that they would win the tournament and ascend to the top of the company where they belong. Bliss then quipped:
Alexa Bliss: "Anyone who stands in our way is going to...tell 'em, Braun!"
Braun Strowman: "Get these hands!"
Bliss: "Hashtag 'Team Little Big.' It's about to be a worldwide trend."
Kelley then reminded fans to tune into Femme Fatales on Thursday to see another first round "Mixed Match Challenge" match-up. With that, she signed off. #TeamLittleBig trended worldwide on Twitter, just as Bliss had predicted.
