William Regal: "Ladies and gentlemen, welcome to the finest sixty minutes of pro wrestling in the world, the Show Time Power Hour! I'm your host, William Regal. With me are hall of famers Michael Hayes and Jim Cornette! Men, we are less than one week away from SuperBrawl and the 'World War 3 Elimination' match!"
Michael Hayes: "Yep, and I can't wait! That match is gonna tear the place down!"
Jim Cornette: "Forget that match! The real news is that my man Kevin Steen has been put into the US Title 'Gauntlet' match!"
Regal: "Yes, he is. NWA: Show Time and our sister company NWA: Femme Fatales will be well represented in all of the 'Gauntlet' matches. It could be a big night for us! Speaking of good nights, this one should be great, as a 'Three-Way Mixed Tag Team' match will be our main event. Adam Cole and Chelsea Green will go to war with Ricochet and AJ Lee as well as The Undertaker in his in-ring return, teaming up with Priscilla Kelly. That is a blockbuster in itself! Also on the program, the Usos will take on Shelton Benjamin and Chad Gable, and we'll start the day off with Cruiserweight action as Solomon Crowe clashes with Johnny Mundo in a battle of faction leaders! Let's go to the ring!"
Match One ~ Johnny Mundo with Taya vs. Solomon Crowe with Hangman Page and Jonathan Gresham
Winner = Johnny Mundo by pinfall in 15:28
Regal: "what a match to start us off here tonight! Mundo pulled victory out of the jaws of defeat!"
Hayes: "He's a fantastic athlete and he proved it in that match!"
Cornette: "Great action from those two, who were looking to get their groups to the top of the division!"
After the match, Page and Gresham attacked, but were run off by Taya, PJ Black, and Jack Evans, who stood tall with Mundo.
Regal: "Fans, we'll take a quick commercial break, then we'll be back with more action! Stay with us!"
Regal: "We're back and it's now time for Tag Team Championship action in the ring!"
Match Two ~ NWA: Show Time Tag Team Championship ~ Jimmy & Jey Uso with "The Bad Guy" Scott Hall vs. "Gold Standard" Shelton Benjamin & Chad Gable with "Olympic Hero" Kurt Angle
Winner and NEW NWA: Show Time Tag Team Champions = Shelton Benjamin & Chad Gable by pinfall in 17:02
After the referee realized his mistake, he restarted the match and the Usos got the pinfall.
Winners and STILL NWA: Show Time Tag Team Champions = The Usos by pinfall in a total match time of 20:14
Regal: "The Usos remain undefeated, but not without a stiff test from Benjamin and Gable in the deepest tag team division in all of the NWA!"
Hayes: "What a great tag team match! These two teams put on a show!"
Cornette: "I can't believe what I'm hearing here! You people keep singing the praises of the Uso brothers, but all I see is that Scott Hall must be in the referee's pocket to get a restart like that! Unbelievable! These guys have been given every advantage in the book! But, trust me when I tell you that 'Camp Cornette' won't stand for it! We're taking those belts back! Mark my words!"
Regal: "I'm sure you intend to, Jim. And, you have three teams that can do it. But, the Usos reign supreme right now. Fans, we'll take another break. It's main event time when we return!"
Regal: "Welcome back, fans! It's been a fantastic hour so far, but it's not over yet! We still have the big 'Three-Way Mixed Tag Team' match to come! Before it begins, Joanna Rose is backstage with Ricochet and AJ Lee to get a few words. Joanna, take it away!"
Joanna Rose: "Thank you, William. I am standing by with Ricochet and AJ Lee, who are set to do battle in the 'Three-Way Mixed Tag Team' match in mere moments. They are joined by CM Punk, who will be watching their backs out there tonight. Ricochet, this is a very unique and volatile situation we have right now in NWA: Show Time, with a three-way faction war. How do you prepare for this match knowing you have 'World war 3' awaiting this Sunday?"
Ricochet: "Joanna, AJ and I prepared for this match the same way Punk, 'War Machine,' and I have prepared for this weekend. It's one word: focus. Multi-man and multi-team matches are so chaotic. But, the team with the greatest focus can handle all of the intangibles and they will win. Tonight, AJ and I are focused."
Rose: "AJ, your thoughts?"
AJ Lee: "You know, I've been accused of being a lot of things over the years. Most of them are true. But, I've been called crazy on many occasions. That is the furthest thing from the truth. I am very sane and very calculating. Do I go to a dark place in my mind from time to time? Sure. We all do. But, the thing that makes me different is that there always is a method to the madness. I know exactly what I'm doing out there, just like my partner does. He has the reputation of someone who only does the 'flip, flop, and fly.' Well, in all those flips, all those flops, and all those flies, Ricochet has a clear method. We're laser focused on the task at hand, Joanna. We have a plan and we will win."
Rose: "CM, I know you're not silent on the subject."
CM Punk: "Joanna, nothing more needs to be said, except for one last thing. We're the 'Best in the World.' After tonight and this coming Sunday, no one will be able to deny it."
Rose: "There you have it. Back to you, William."
Regal: "Thanks, Joanna! 'SoCal' Val is in 'The Richards Collective's' locker room with Adam Cole and Chelsea Green. Let's get a word with them."
Valerie Wyndham: "I'm here with Adam Cole and Chelsea Green, who are set to take on Ricochet and AJ Lee, as well as The Undertaker and Priscilla Kelly. Adam, the Undertaker is making his return to the ring after several years away. What do you expect from him tonight?"
Adam Cole: "Well, if the old man doesn't break his hip climbing through the ropes, then I expect him to be blown up shortly after the opening bell. Come on! The guy's a has been! His prime was fifteen years ago! He's ancient, a fossil! Bray Wyatt may have thought he summoned an immortal soul, but what he really did is ensure that his team will lose on Sunday! Tonight, Chelsea and I will do what 'The Richards Collective' always does--win! The Undertaker, Priscilla Kelly, Ricochet, AJ Lee, they're all just along for the ride!"
Wyndham: "Chelsea, how will you combat the other women in this match?"
Chelsea Green: "The other women in this match mean nothing to me! You've got that witch, Priscilla Kelly, who will be over in the corner trying to conjure up spells, and you've got the psycho AJ Lee trying not to pull her hair out in another corner! Then you have me, Chelsea Green, trust fund daughter of a millionaire, who grew up with all the advantages and the best training money can buy. I know that ring like the back of my hand. Priscilla and AJ better watch out! Because it's Chelsea's time to shine!"
Cole: "And you can take that to the bank, Val, just as sure as my name is Adam Cole...bay bay."
Wyndham: "William, back to you."
Regal: "Thanks, Valerie! This should be good."
Match Three ~ "Three-Way Mixed Tag Team" match ~ "The Richards Collective" (Adam Cole & Chelsea Green with Britt Baker) vs. "The New Face of Fear" (The Undertaker & Priscilla Kelly with "Spirit of Abigail" Maria Kanellis) vs. "Best in the World" (Ricochet & AJ Lee with CM Punk)
what was most impressive about this match is that The Undertaker doesn't appear to have missed a beat. His quick hands were on display against both Ricochet and Cole and he threw his 'soup bones' with great relish. The ladies provided quite a bit of the action. AJ was her frenetic best. Kelly was devious. Green was technically sound. They all had moments of brilliance throughout the battle. Ricochet used his normal assortment of aerial wonder to keep his opponents off balance. Cole was vicious and hit his spots when the moments presented themselves. Ultimately, it didn't matter what went on in the ring, because the finish was influenced by someone outside the ring. Britt Baker, Adam Cole's longtime girlfriend and best friend to Green, threw powder in Lee's eyes while she was applying the "Black Widow" to Chelsea. The referee was attempting to get Kelly, The Undertaker, and Ricochet to their corners during this. Lee stumbled around and walked into Green's "Unprettier" for the pin before anyone could break it up.
Winners = "The Richards Collective" by pinfall in 16:19
Punk protested vehemently, even showing the referee the white residue on Lee's face, to no avail.
Regal: "It looks like Cole and Green stole one!"
Hayes: "The infamous white powder rears it ugly head once again! I've used it myself many times over the years."
Cornette: "Ah yes! As have I, Michael! I love that stuff!"
Regal: "What is it, exactly?"
Cornette: "No one knows, but there's always some in every locker room!"
Regal: "Indeed. I've felt its wrath myself. Regardless, 'The Richards Collective' gets the win tonight, but we'll see if they can tomorrow. We'll also see if Kevin Steen or 'Killer Elite Squad' can bring home the United States Championships at SuperBrawl! If you haven't yet, call your local cable or satellite provider to order this huge pay-per-view spectacular! Fans, we're out of time for this week. Please join us next Tuesday on TNT for more of the Show Time Power Hour! And, don't forget to log on to www.nwashowtime.com for After Buzz with Cathy Kelley. For Michael Hayes and Jim Cornette, I'm William Regal, saying ta ta for now!"
A massive brawl broke out as the episode was going off the air. All three factions were in full force and were throwing hands, men and women included, as the credits rolled. NWA: Show Time After Buzz with Cathy Kelley aired as usual.
Kelley ran down the entire announced card for NWA SuperBrawl: Sunday, Bloody Sunday. She focused on the Show Time and Femme Fatales matches, but gave ample props to every other match as well. Kelley also speculated on which of the "Gauntlet" matches she thoughts favored Show Time and/or Femme Fatales wrestlers. It was an entertaining several minutes of "fantasy booking," as Kelley showed herself to be a true student of the sport. Kelley signed off with this parting line: "Well, it's time for us armchair bookers to sit back and watch to see if our prognostications are correct. I'll see you all on Sunday!"
