William Regal: "Ladies and gentlemen, welcome to the finest sixty minutes of pro wrestling in the world, the Show Time Power Hour! I'm your host, William Regal. with me are my hall of fame co-hosts, Michael Hayes and Jim Cornette! Guys, Commissioner Ric Flair has promised to make a huge announcement at the top of the program!"
Michael Hayes: "If you follow our website, you would have seen that Flair said the three-way war between 'The Richards Collective,' 'The New Face of Fear,' and 'Best in the World' has gotten out of hand. My guess is that's what his announcement will be about."
Jim Cornette: "Gee Mike, did you think that one up all by yourself?! Of course his announcement will be around that! 'The Richards Collective' is his meal ticket! He's not going to let them get destroyed!"
Regal: "Perhaps. Fans, we have an action-packed hour lined up, with 'Euro Trash' defending the Cruiserweight Tag Team Championship against 'Crowe's Nest,' 'War Machine' versus 'The Broken Universe,' and Bobby Roode defending the Television Championship against CM Punk in our main event!"
Cornette: "But, forget all that! I have something more important to discuss. Those low down, dirty, rotten scoundrels, the Uso brother have cheated my teams two weeks in a row, now that idiot Scott Hall is demanding a title shot at 'The Revival?!' They need to be fined and suspended for blatant cheating!"
Just then, "Also sprach Zarathustra" played to bring out Commissioner Ric Flair to a very strong mixed reaction.
Ric Flair: "Woooo! The 'Nature Boy' is live and in living color tonight in the 'Queen City!' I came out here to make an announcement, but I was listening to Jim Cornette running his mouth, something he does very well. Jim, we go back over thirty years. You and I both know that every team you've ever managed cheated its way to victory! So, as far as I'm concerned, you and 'Camp Cornette' are getting a taste of your own medicine from the Usos! But, now that they've beaten 'Sons of Steel' and 'The Insurgence,' Scott Hall has a point. They are top contenders for the Tag Team Championship. In fact, I've decided that next week, 'The Revival' will put those titles on the line against the Usos right here in Charlotte, North Carolina! Woooo!" (Cornette tried to interrupt Flair)
Flair: "Jim, I don't want to hear a word out of your mouth! The match is signed and it's going to happen! Now, sit back down at that commentary booth before I suspend you! Now, onto the real reason I came out here. This thing between 'The Richards Collective,' 'The New Face of Fear,' and the so-called 'Best in the World,' has come to a head. Enough is enough! I'm not going to have my top drawing guys kill each other on my watch! You've destroyed sets, destroyed locker rooms, and nearly destroyed each other! So, I've come up with a way to settle the score once and for all. In February, the NWA is holding a pay-per-view called SuperBrawl. I'm no stranger to SuperBrawls. in fact, I was in the main event of WCW's first one ever, when I beat Fujinami to win back the NWA World Heavyweight Championship! Woooo! While I was in WCW, I took part in another pay-per-view called World War 3. That used to feature a three-ring 'Battle Royal.' I started thinking about that and how this feud has turned into World War Three. Right then and there, I began to create a match to end it for good. I'm borrowing the three-ring concept, but changing up the rules. We're going to have all three groups battle four-on-four-on-four! If your group doesn't have four members, you'd better call some friends, because 'The Richards Collective' runs four deep! All twelve men will start in one ring. When a man gets pinned or submits, he goes to the second ring. When he gets beat in the second ring, he goes to the third. When he gets beat in the third, he's eliminated from the match. We'll go until two teams are completely eliminated, leaving one team to reign supreme. And, it's going to be no disqualification, no countout, no time limit! May the best team win! Woooo!"
Regal: "What a blockbuster announcement! A 'World War 3 Elimination' match at SuperBrawl!"
Hayes: "They're going to blow the roof off the place!"
Cornette: "Forget that! Ric Flair just insulted me, then he gave those no good Usos a title shot?! He's picking that turncoat Scott Hall over me?!"
Regal: "While I understand your frustration, I do see his point. The Usos own victories over two of the best teams in the world, regardless of how dubious they might be. So, it's not so far fetched that they have been declared the number one contenders. I, for one, look forward to the Usos against 'The Revival' next week! Speaking of tag team action, let's go to the ring for the Cruiserweight Tag team Championship match!"
Match One ~ NWA: Show Time Cruiserweight Tag Team Championship ~ "Euro Trash" ("The Villain" Marty Scurll & Aleister Black with Zack Sabre, Jr.) vs. "Crowe's Nest" (Hangman Page & Jonathan Gresham with Solomon Crowe)
This match offered an intriguing contrast of styles. "Euro Trash" is methodical, picking apart opponents with hard striking and submissions meant to wear a man down. While 'Crowe's Nest' is more of a quick-strike offense using athleticism and speed to offset it adversaries. Ultimately, Page went for "Rite of Passage" on Scurll, but was struck with "Black Mass" by Black, causing Marty to fall on top of Page for the pin.
Winners and STILL NWA: Show Time Cruiserweight Tag Team Champions = "Euro Trash" by pinfall in 10:44
Regal: "Fabulous match! The Cruiserweights know hos to put on a show!"
Hayes: "We got the best Cruiserweight division in the world, and they just showed why!"
Cornette: "They're good, but not as good as my teams."
"Catch Point" appeared out of nowhere and laid waste to "Euro Trash." They dispatched of Scurll and Black, then isolated Sabre in a four-on-one attack. Matt Riddle then delivered a personal message to Sabre: "I'm gonna take you out by myself, bro!" Matt then leveled Zack with a jumping knee to the face. "Catch Point" then left the ring triumphantly.
Regal: "Wow! 'Catch Point' just sent a message!"
Hayes: "They're not going to give up their spot easily!"
Cornette: "It's a dog-eat-dog world. Tonight, 'Euro Trash' had on Milkbone underwear!"
Regal: "Indeed. Fans, we'll be back after this brief commercial break."
Regal: "Fans, we're back! Joanna Rose is backstage with Kurt Angle, Shelton Benjamin, and Chad Gable. Hopefully, she is able to get some answers after last week's attack on Jason Jordan. Joanna, take it away!"
Joanna Rose: "I am here with the new version of 'The All-Americans.' Shelton, I want to talk to you first. Why did you leave 'House of Truth' in favor of Kurt Angle and Chad Gable?"
Shelton Benjamin: "It's real simple. In 'House of Truth,' I was going nowhere. I was already thinking of making some changes when this guy called. Kurt Angle is an old friend. When he made the offer, how could I refuse? My career is already looking up after one week!"
Rose: "Which leads me to my next question. Kurt, it was clear that you offered Shelton to join your group without consulting 'American Alpha,' based on Jason Jordan's reaction. Why would you do that?"
Kurt Angle: "First of all, I am a legend in this sport. My judgment should never be questioned. I offered Shelton because we are friends and because he's one of the best. Whether or not Jason Jordan agrees with that decision is irrelevant. I am the leader of this group. My word is law. Chad Gable has always known that! Jason Jordan is a hard-headed punk who wanted to do things his way! He was stubborn and never wanted to listen to me! How dare he call me out last week! I'm the 'Olympic Hero' Kurt Angle, for crying out loud! The bottom line is, you're either with us or against us. Jason Jordan made a bad decision and he's gone now because of it!"
Rose: "Chad, my next question is to you. You've been silent on the issue thus far. What is your take on everything?"
Chad Gable: "I absolutely agree with Kurt. Jason Jordan is a great athlete and a good wrestler, but he always ignored Kurt's direction. The only reason 'American Alpha' was as good as it was is because I went out every night and carried us! Now, I don't have to do that because I am partners with Shelton Benjamin! This dude has won titles all over the world! Who wouldn't want to team with him! He's got more talent in his pinkie finger than Jason Jordan has in his entire body! Jason had the same opportunity as I do to sit under this learning tree, but he threw it away!"
Angle: "Hey Jason, good luck over in the bread line, pal! The 'All Americans' are about to climb up the pecking order in this company and take our place at the top! Oh, it's true! It's d*** true!"
Rose: "There you have it. Back to you, William."
Regal: "Thanks, Joanna! Those were some telling words from Kurt Angle and company. Let's go back to the ring for more exciting tag team action!"
Match two ~ "War Machine" ("WarBeard" Hanson & Raymond "Death" Rowe) vs. "The Broken Universe" ("Broken Soldier" Gunner & "Broken Savior" Jon Skyler with "Broken Bomb" Jason Justice and Reby)
This match was smash mouth all the way. In fact, Skyler is the only non-heavyweight in the mix. he took the brunt of the offense from "War Machine," which is still incensed over losing the now defunct North American Tag Team Championship. They took it to their "broken" opponents, whose seconds Reby and Jason Justice tried in vain to assist them and were thrown out of ringside for their troubles. Skyler then became fodder for "Fallout."
Winners = "War Machine" by pinfall in 8:32
Regal: "You know, 'War Machine' reminds me of 'The Road Warriors,' but a new age version of them."
Hayes: "They're fierce, that's for sure!"
Cornette: "Again, not as good as my teams."
Regal: "That remains to be seen. Fans, we'll take another break. when we return, Bobby Roode defends the Television Championship against CM Punk in our main event! Stay with us!"
Regal: "We're back! The next match is sure to be a barnburner! Bobby Roode versus CM Punk stars now!"
Match Three ~ NWA: Show Time Television Championship ~ "Glorious" Bobby Roode with Maryse Ouellet vs. CM Punk with AJ Lee
this was a stellar match from start to finish. It had everything--drama, excitement, near falls, a catfight, and more. The match started slowly, with each man sizing up his opponent. Punk had the advantage in the early going with a hard-striking martial arts offensive. Roode defended, but the damage was done. Bobby eventually took over for quite some time against Punk, working him over with various "Neckbreakers," "Kravates," and "Headlocks" in an effort to soften up his head and neck for the "Glorious DDT" finisher. Roode went for it a couple of times, but Punk masterfully blocked him. Bobby managed to hit the "Roode Bomb," but was stunned when he only got a two-count. Punk eventually recovered and went on the offensive. Punk readied for the "Go to Sleep," but Maryse sensed this and jumped onto the apron. Punk became distracted and went after her. She dropped to the floor, but was pounced on by AJ, much to delight of the crowd. Punk cheered his wife on, then turned his attention back to Roode, who unceremoniously kicked Punk in the gut. He finally hit the "Glorious DDT," only to see Punk kick out at 2.9. Roode was flabbergasted that his best shot did not get the victory. He sat in the corner bewildered. The referee was trying to untangle the ladies. Roode took the opportunity to loosen the turnbuckle cover on the middle rope of one corner. He threw the turnbuckle pad out of the ring before the referee knew what happened. Roode went to throw Punk into the exposed turnbuckle, only to see Punk reverse and sling him into it back first. Punk then hit the "Step-up Knee Strike." Roode staggered out into the "GTS." Bobby's legs hit the referee in the side on his way up, knocking the official to his knees. Punk ladned the move, then covered. After several seconds of Punk covering Roode and screaming at the referee, the official finally recovered and made a count. Roode managed to kick out in the nick of time. Punk was enraged. He berated the referee, giving Roode much needed breathing room. Punk went to grab Bobby back up, but Roode hit a "Drop Toehold," sending Punk headfirst into the exposed turnbuckle. Punk then staggered backward and was hit with another "Glorious DDT" for the win.
Winner and STILL NWA: Show Time Television Champion = Bobby Roode by pinfall in 28:03
Regal: "Not only did CM Punk have the title won, he was cheated by Roode to lose!"
Hayes: "That was a double whammy right there!"
Cornette: "All I saw was Bobby Roode kick out of the "GTS" and hit his finisher to put CM Punk away!"
Regal: "Indeed. CM Punk was robbed!"
The lights went out. When they came back up, "The New Face of Fear" surrounded the ring. They took out Punk with a "Running Powerslam" through the announce table by Braun Strowman and Roode being tossed over the barricade and to the concrete floor by Erick Rowan. Ricochet ran to the ring, but was soon swallowed up. Adam Cole and The Rock hit the ring, but the numbers game got the best of them. Ricochet was tossed from the ring like a lawn dart to the entrance ramp. Maria Kanellis was screaming maniacally while Priscilla Kelly paraded around the ring holding Bray Wyatt's "Universal Championship" belt (they had taken out AJ Lee and Maryse Ouellet as well).
Regal: "What a scene out her once again! Fans, this feud is reaching mammoth proportions! We're out of time for this week. Please join us next Tuesday on TBS for more of the Show Time Power Hour! And, don't forget to tune into www.nwashowtime.com for After Buzz with Cathy Kelley immediately following our broadcast! For Michael Hayes and Jim Cornette, I'm William Regal, saying ta ta for now!"
The scene faded to black with the image of Bray Wyatt knelt in front of his henchman yelling, "Follow the buzzards!"
NWA: Show Time After Buzz with Cathy Kelley aired as usual.
Kelley discussed the huge "Waorld War 3 Elimination" match signed by Commissioner Flair. Flair was then brought out and interviewed. He was proud of himself for signing such a significant and historic match. He further iterated that 'The Richards Collective,' he believed, would prove to the world that they are "the supreme force in our sport." With that, Kelley signed off.
