William Regal: "Ladies and gentlemen, welcome to the finest sixty minutes of pro wrestling in the world, the Show Time Power Hour! I'm your host, William Regal. With me are my hall of fame co-hosts, Michael Hayes and Jim Cornette! Guys, we are featuring the Cruiserweights in two big matches tonight!"
Michael Hayes: "Yep! As everyone heard last week, 'Euro Trash' and 'British Strong Style' will go at it in our first match! The winner will pick a fourth partner and face 'Catch Point' later on tonight!"
Jim Cornette: "Forget that! My 'Sons of Steel' are back this week and they have challenged those jerks the Usos! We're gonna shut them up before they even get started!"
Regal: "We'll see about that, Jim! In our main event, Adam Cole will wrestle Bray Wyatt in a non-title grudge match! Fans, for the sake of time, let's move quickly to the ring for our first match!"
Match One ~ "Euro Trash" (Zack Sabre, Jr., "The Villain" Marty Scurll, & Aleister Black) vs. "British Strong Style" ("Bruiserweight" Pete Dunne, Tyler Bate, & Trent Seven)
This was the classic European strikefest we expected. Both teams were intent on making sure that whichever faction won the match would have nothing left for "Catch Point." Sabre took quite a few minutes of punishment from "BSS." They isolated him and kept Black and Scurll at bay. Sabre finally countered Bate long enough to sneak a tag in to Scurll, who came in a house of fire. A six-way brawl eventually erupted. In the heat of it, Aleister hit "Black mass" on Trent Seven for the pin as Sabre and Scurll kept Bate and Dunne from re-entering the ring to stop the count.
Winners = "Euro Trash" by pinfall in 15:02
Regal: "What a fanstastic bloody match! The European style was proudly on display in that one!"
Hayes: "Great win by 'Euro Trash!' The only question now is who their partner will be."
Cornette: "They haven't exactly made a lot of friends. We'll see if they can rustle anyone up. I can guarantee you none of my guys are interested!"
Regal: "Speaking of your guys, Jim, We'll be back with 'Sons of Steel' versus the Usos when we return from the break!"
Regal: "We're back! Let's go to the ring for more tag team action!"
Match Two ~ "Sons of Steel" (Boomer Payne & Brice Anthony with Jim Cornette) vs. Jimmy & Jey Uso with "The Bad Guy" Scott Hall
Both of these teams are super solid. They are two of the most technically proficient tag teams around. they both fit the mold of old school tag team wrestling. It's no wonder that Jim Cornette and Scott Hall, who both know tag team wrestling, have associated with them. "SoS" looked great early on. They took the fight right to their world traveled opponents. The Usos finally gained an advantage on Payne and kept him in the ring for several minutes. Boomer showed his resiliency. He fought back and got the tag to Anthony. Brice took out both Usos and looked to be building some steam. He set up for a "Double Clothesline" on Jimmy and Jey. Brice hit the ropes, but his foot was grabbed by Hall. Anthony was incensed and took a swipe at Scott, who barely got out of the way. Anthony turned around into a "Double Super Kick" that nearly knocked him out of his boots. The Usos dumped Payne out of the ring. Jimmy went to the top as Jey hit another "Super Kick" on Anthony. Jimmy launched himself for a "Superfly Leap" onto Brice. The pin was academic at that point.
Winners = The Usos by pinfall in 12:33
Cornette was livid that Hall got away with blatant interference.
Regal: "A little trickeration from Scott Hall caused just enough of a distraction to turn the tide. That is not going to sit well with Jim Cornette!"
Hayes: "Nope! He's hot and he's letting the referee know it!"
Regal: "Fans, we'll go to commercial and see if we can keep Jim from having a coronary. We'll be back in just a moment!"
Regal: "Fans, we're back! Jim Cornette has yet to join us back at commentary. It's time for our big eight-man tag team match. We haven't received word on whether or not 'Euro Trash' found a partner. I guess we're about to see. Let's go to Scarlett Bordeaux with the call in the ring!"
Match Three ~ "Catch Point" ("King of Bros" Matt Riddle, "Bonafide" Fred Yehi, "No Fly" Drew Gulak, & "Hot Sauce" Tracy Williams) vs. "Euro Trash" (Zack Sabre, Jr., "The Villain" Marty Scurll, & Aleister Black) and ?
"Catch Point" came out first and commanded the ring. It was clear they wanted to set the tone before their opponents arrived to ringside. "Euro Trash" came out with no partner and it looked as if we'd have a 'Handicap' match. Then, all three members looked back at the curtain and welcomed Kota Ibushi. The fans screamed with excitement as the Cruiserweight Champion joined his new teammates. Ibushi was on fire the entire match, proving why he is one of the best sub-heavyweights worldwide. Unfortunately, his lack of continuity with Sabre and company became evident. A mistimed leap by Ibushi got Scurll instead of Riddle. Matt took advantage with the "Bromission" for a quick tap out before anyone could break it up.
Winners = "Catch Point" by submission in 16:40
Sabre and Black berated Ibushi as Scurll struggled to his feet. "Catch Point" laughed and celebrated as the scene unfolded in the ring. "Euro Trash" decimated Kota with a triple-team assault. He was left laying as Sabre held up the Cruiserweight Championship before dropping it on Ibushi's chest.
Regal: "What a dastardly beat down after the match! Kota Ibushi agreed to be these guys' partner and then they turn theuir backs on him!"
Hayes: "I told you this partnership was suspect, at best! It was doomed from the start. Ibushi's a nice guy and the other guys are not!"
Regal: "Indeed. Fans, we'll be back with our main event next! Stay with us!"
Regal: "We're back and Jim Cornette finally decided to join us just in time for the main event."
Cornette: "Hey! I was in the back talking to Commissioner Flair about that miscarriage of justice you all saw in the ring! He saw it my way."
Hayes: "What exactly does that mean?!"
Cornette: "You'll see next week!"
Regal: "So, a little mystery for next week's episode, I see. Fans, 'SoCal' Val is backstage with Adam Cole ahead of the main event. Let's go to some words from the Heavyweight Champion at this time."
Valerie Wyndham: "I'm here with Adam Cole and Britt Baker. Adam, you are about to face the enigmatic Bray Wyatt. Though your championship isn't on the line, this has to be considered a pivotal match."
Adam Cole: "Any opportunity that a man has to face Adam Cole, it's a pivotal one. I am the best d*** pro wrestler on the planet and I have the hardware to prove it! Bray Wyatt is a former World Champion and now he's running around claiming he's a 'universal champion.' That's laughable! The guy had his own belt made! I'd be 'universal champion' too if I went to Top Rope Belts and said, 'Make me a custom title!' Tonight, the myth of Bray Wyatt is going to be busted! He thinks he's a god. But, he'll be nothing more than a beaten up mortal man at the hands of Adam Cole...bay bay."
Wyndham: "You heard it here first. William, back to you."
Regal: "Confident words from our Heavyweight Champion. Let's see if he can back them up."
Match Four ~ Adam Cole with Britt Baker vs. "Eater of Worlds" Bray Wyatt with "Spirit of Abigail" Maria Kanellis
This was a titanic struggle between two of the biggest names in the sport. Wyatt tried to engage mind games with Cole, who did his best to shrug them off. Kanellis was in rare form at ringside, parading around with Wyatt's new custom championship belt. Britt Baker seemed to be put off and intimidated by the odd and macabre spectacle. eventually, the match broke down with interference from every direction. Cole had the upper hand, which brought out Erick Rowan. "Bounty Hunter" Mesias was dispatched by Karlee Perez. That brought out Braun Strowman. Then, the World Champion himself, Brock Lesnar, hit ringside. A massive pull-apart brawl ensued. Meanwhile, in the ring, Wyatt and Cole continued fighting. They were soon thwarted by CM Punk, who ran to the ring, climbed to the top rope, and hit a "Flying Body Press" on both men. The referee finally threw the match out.
Winner = no contest in 10:54
Regal: "What a scene we have out here!"
Hayes: "It looks like a car crash on I-85!"
Cornette: "The question is can anyone break this thing up?!"
Ricochet joined the action, followed by Bobby Roode. It was a full-scale riot. Security was called in and attempted to break up the melee, with little success. Finally, the locker room cleared and other wrestlers assisted in calming things down.
Regal: "This is a tense situation! There are so many moving parts, it's difficult to keep up!"
Hayes: "This is a turf war of epic proportions!"
Cornette: "I say let them fight! If they tear each other apart, there's less competition for my guys!"
Regal: "Seriously, though! Something has to give here! Fans, we're rapidly running out of time. Please join us again next Tuesday for more of the Show Time Power Hour on TBS! Don't forget to tune into our website, www.nwashowtime.com, for After Buzz with Cathy Kelley, immediately following our broadcast!
