William Regal: "Ladies and gentlemen, welcome to the finest sixty minutes of pro wrestling in the world, the Show Time Power Hour! I'm your host, William Regal. With me are hall of famers Michael Hayes and Jim Cornette! We're less than one week away from 'Halloween Havoc!' Adam Cole and Britt Baker have been given the night off to prepare for their 'Million-dollar Challenge' match against CM Punk and AJ Lee at the big event. Ditto for World Champion Bray Wyatt and his opponent Braun Strowman, who will clash in the World Title main event. In lieu of their absence, we still have a fantastic episode lined up tonight!"
Michael Hayes: "Yep! In the main event, Matt Riddle will get his shot at the Heavyweight Championship when he goes one-on-one with Brock Lesnar!"
Jim Cornette: "Also on the program, 'The Revival' defends the Tag Team Championship against 'Reno Scum!'"
Regal: "All that and more, folks! So, without further adieu, let's get this program started with the debut of Jordan Richards' newest addition, Bobby Roode!"
Match One ~ "Glorious" Bobby Roode with Maryse Ouellet vs. "Born Winner" Mike Madden with Truth Martini & "Hoopla Hotties"--Shotzi Blakkhartt, Zahra, & Dana Adiva
This wasn't very long, but it was a high-quality output for both wrestlers. Madden is an underrated talent who is very skilled technically. Roode is world-renowned and his reputation precedes him. After eating a "Spinebuster," Madden stumbled into the "Glorious DDT" for the finish.
Winner = Bobby Roode by pinfall in 7:21
Regal: "That was exactly what we expected from Roode! Whether you like him or not, he is a fine competitor!"
Hayes: "Bobby Roode is a top-shelf talent, no doubt. But, that Mike Madden is nothing to sneeze at either."
Cornette: "Bobby is an elite performer. He will fit in so much better with 'The Richards Collective' than Ricochet ever did!"
Regal: "Speaking of Ricochet, he is declining all interviews and phone calls since last week, when he was unceremoniously dumped from 'The Richards Collective' in favor of Bobby Roode. Fans, we'll take a commercial break and be back with the Tag Team Championship match next!"
Regal: "Fans, we're back! Jim Cornette has already left the commentary booth to join his team backstage. Let's go to the ring and see if 'Reno Scum' can abruptly end the reign of 'The Revival!'"
Match Two ~ NWA: Show Time Tag Team Championship ~ "The Revival"--Dash Wilder & Scott Dawson with Jim Cornette vs. "Reno Scum"--Luster the Legend & Adam Thornstowe with "Patron Saint of Filth" Christina Von Eerie
"Reno Scum" put up a heck of a fight against one of the most gifted tag teams in the world. Luster and Adam are deceptively strong and scientific, though they prefer to brawl. The match looked to be reaching its zenith fifteen minutes in, with "The Revival" looking for "Shatter Machine." Before they could hit it, these three gentlemen appeared at ringside:
New signees "Euro Trash" hit the ring and destroyed both teams. Marty Scurll beat all four men mercilessly with his umbrella.
Winners = no contest in 10:33 ("The Revival" retains)
"The Revival" hightailed it to the locker room to avoid further punishment. "Reno Scum," who did not escape, bore the brunt of the violence. As "Euro Trash" was beating Luster and Adam, Christina Von Eerie ran into the ring and jumped on Aleister Black's back. She was dispatched rather suddenly after an umbrella shot from Scurll. Sabre used the "Young Boy Killer" to choke out Luster, while Scurll locked in the "Crossface Chickenwing" on Thornstow. Black sat cross-legged in center ring. After the carnage, Sabre grabbed a microphone.
Zack Sabre, Jr.: "This company is hereby on notice. 'Euro Trash' is here and we're about to take over!"
Regal: "Wow! What an impressive and brutal debut for 'Euro Trash!' They have reputations as bruisers, but this was something that crossed the line! They obliterated 'Reno Scum!'"
Hayes: "That was a 'Freebird' style beat down!"
Regal: "Indeed. Fans, we need to take a break and get some help for 'Reno Scum.' We'll be back in a few moments. Stay with us!"
Regal: "We're back from the break. Fans, 'SoCal' Val is backstage with 'Euro Trash.' Let's hear from them now."
Valerie Wyndham: "I am here with Zack Sabre, Jr., Aleister Black, and Marty Scurll, collectively known as 'Euro Trash.' Gentlemen, we know that you were just signed recently and we were anxiously awaiting your debut, but I don't think any of us expected what we just saw."
Zack Sabre, Jr.: "We did not come to this company to simply be placeholders and sink into irrelevance! We are here to make a statement and take over!"
Marty Scurll: "They call me 'The Villain.' Do you think that is just a cute nickname?! We are not 'good guys!' We are not heroes! We are here to beat everyone in this company!"
Wyndham held the microphone to Aleister Black's mouth, but he simply glared at her.
Wyndham: "Was there a specific reason you chose to attack 'Reno Scum' and 'The Revival' during the Tag Team Championship match?"
Sabre: "That was a message, pure and simple! We are going to beat any other team here and we will own those Tag Team Titles! 'The Revival' says they're the best tag team in the world! I say prove it by beating us! As far as 'Reno Scum' goes, those boys were in the wrong place at the wrong time!"
Scurll: "We used this platform to call out the entire roster, period! We are going to own the tag team division and those belts! You can guarantee that!"
Wyndham: "Thank you. William, back to you."
Regal: "Thank you, Valerie! 'Euro Trash' is the real deal. They are a dangerous group, to say the least. Fans, it's time for the match many thought we'd never see. It's the crossover bout that wrestling fans and MMA fans alike have collectively salivated for! Matt Riddle is a phenom in this sport, who began in MMA and was a star in the UFC. Brock Lesnar is a grappler for way back who became the UFC Heavyweight Champion and is one of the most dangerous individuals in the world. Matt Riddle said that he would retire Brock Lesnar if he got him in the ring. Well, tonight he gets his chance! Not only that, but Lesnar's Show Time Heavyweight Championship is on the line as well! Enough talking! Let's go to the ring!"
Match Three ~ NWA: Show Time Heavyweight Championship ~ "The Beast" Brock Lesnar with Eve Torres vs. Matt Riddle with "Bonafide" Fred Yehi
They say you shouldn't "German Suplex" Riddle, because he seems to be superhuman in his reaction to this maneuver. Lesnar tested this theory early and often. Riddle did "hulk up" after the first "German," which incensed Lesnar, who hit three more in succession. Riddle did not bounce back as normal off those. Brock took the fight to his much smaller opponent. Riddle was game and continued to fight, coming back time after time. Riddle did uncork an impressive flurry of kicks that weakened Lesnar. Brock owned the bulk of the match, which began to wear on. Riddle lasted much longer than many people had speculated, giving Brock his longest match since CM Punk. The climax of the match came when the referee got knocked down after getting caught in between an exchange between the two. Riddle managed to lock in the "Bromission" on Brock, who tried frantically to free himself. It looked like Riddle might win with the move. Torres placed Lesnar's right leg over the bottom rope, just as the referee was gathering himself. He saw the leg and immediately broke the hold. Riddle was beside himself. Yehi jumped up onto the apron and began to argue with the referee as well that Torres had interfered. The arguments fell on deaf ears, as the referee had not seen the deception. Riddle finally turned around to rejoin the match and walked into an "F-5."
Winner and STILL NWA: Show Time Heavyweight Champion = Brock Lesnar by pinfall in 30:12
Regal: "Brock Lesnar got more than he bargained for in Matt Riddle! He survived with an assist from Eve Torres!"
Hayes: "Brock sure looked like he might be done for! If Eve hadn't put his foot on the ropes, who knows what would've happened?!"
Cornette: "What would have happened did happen! Brock Lesnar is practically unbeatable and he proved it again tonight!"
Regal: "Fans, we're out of time for this week. Please join us next Tuesday on TBS for more of the Show Time Power Hour! And, tune into www.nwashowtime.com immediately following our broadcast for After Buzz with Cathy Kelley! And, please don't forget, this Sunday on pay-per-view is NWA 'Halloween Havoc III!' For Michael Hayes and Jim Cornette, I'm William Regal, saying ta ta for now!"
Immediately following the broadcast, NWA: Show Time After Buzz with Cathy Kelley aired
and focused solely on the card for NWA "Halloween Havoc III." Kelley gave a full rundown on the card and fully explained the NWA: Show Time offering of the "Mixed Tag Team" match. Cathy was excited as she listed the stipulations and the implications thereof. Kelley did a great job of hyping the pay-per-view. As she signed off, she gave all the pertinent information for ordering the pay-per-view event.
