William Regal: "Ladies and gentlemen, welcome to the finest sixty minutes of pro wrestling in the world, the Show Time Power Hour! I'm your host, William Regal. With me are my hall of fame co-hosts, Michael Hayes and Jim Cornette! Before we go any further, CEO Jordan Richards has blocked out time at the top of the program to address the events of last week."
"Ladies and Gentlemen" by Saliva played to bring out CEO Jordan Richards, Karlee Perez, and "The Richards Collective" in its entirety.
Jordan Richards: "I've seen the collective opinions of the internet wrestling community running rampant all week long. 'Ding, dong, the witch is dead!' The world is celebrating because my 'Collective' has lost all of our championships at once. Lord knows a bogus stipulation is the only way anyone would get these championships of us! But, not so fast my dear idiot sheep! Let's talk about that match last week! Now, first off, I want to give 'Worldwide Underground' its due. They are a tough bunch of competitors, especially Taya. She went toe-to-toe with the best in the sport and held her own. And, the referee declared them the winners of the match. There is no disputing that. Ricochet did tap out. And, I've always said that I will not undermine my crew of officials, because they are the top referee crew in the world, bar none! So, as much as it pains me to say this, the referee's decision from last week will stand."
A massive roar of jubilation erupted throughout the arena.
Richards: "Whoa now, let me finish. That decision will stand. 'Worldwide Underground' won that match via submission. But, therein lies the problem. If I may, I'd like to show some tape from two weeks ago."
A video aired on the tron from "Stone Cold" Steve Austin's original open challenge, where he stated that, if any member of "The Richards Collective" was pinned, the entire group would forfeit its championships.
Richards: "Now Steve, did you say anything about a submission in that video?"
Steve Austin: "I don't believe I did, boss."
Richards: "No, I don't think you did either. You see, he said that, if anyone of my men got pinned, we'd forfeit the titles. However, none of my men got pinned in that match. Besides that, the only reason Ricochet tapped out in the first place is because CM Punk, a non-wrestler, interfered in the match and savagely rammed him shoulder first into the steel corner post, which should have resulted in a disqualification! So, having said all that, the official decision is that "The Richards Collective" will retain all of its current championships and those title reigns will be considered uninterrupted. That takes care of that. Now, I want to deal with that ingrate CM Punk. Punk, you and your psycho skank of a wife get out here now!"
CM Punk and AJ Lee came to ringside with smiles on their faces.
Richards: "What do you have to say for yourself?!"
CM Punk: "I tripped."
Richards: "What?! You tripped?! What the heck is that supposed to mean?!"
Punk: "I tripped. I came out to ringside to fix one of the turnbuckles, because it seemed a little loose. While I was outside, I tripped on a camera cable and fell into Ricochet. I'm sorry for that, Trevor (Ricochet's real life first name)."
Richards: "Yeah, right! Everyone knows you did it on purpose! The whole world knows it! You deliberately sabotaged our match hoping you could cost us our titles since you got yourself beaten and now work the ring crew! Don't insult my intelligence!"
Punk: "Hey, believe what you want. But, maybe this was all a case of serendipity. You screwed me out of my wrestling career. Maybe the universe was trying to screw you out of your championships."
Richards: "Universe my rosy red backside! That was deliberate! Because of that treasonous act, I hereby fine you both one month's salary! If anything like that happens again, I will terminate both of your contracts!"
Punk: "You might as well rip those contracts up right now, because we will not go away quietly! You screwed us both, so we will continue to screw you every chance we get!"
Richards: "In that case, CM Punk and AJ Lee, your fiiii...!"
Punk: "Hold on a second! Before you do that, here me out! I just had a brilliant idea! Instead of firing us outright, why don't we have one more match?"
Richards: "What do I stand to gain from letting you compete in another match?! I've already ended your wrestling careers here!"
Punk: "What do you stand to gain? How about one million dollars?"
Richards: "I'm listening."
Punk: "We have one more match. AJ and I against Cole and Britt Baker. No DQ, no time limit. If we win, we are free to wrestle for the remainder of our contracts and you don't screw with us anymore. If they win, you terminate our contracts AND I'll pay you one million dollars on top of it."
Richards: "One more match. You and AJ versus Adam and Britt. We win, you're fired and you pay me one million. No DQ, no time limit. Heck, that sounds like a no-brainer to me!"
Punk: "I have one more stipulation."
Richards: "Where do you get off making all these stipulations?!"
Punk: "Just one more. We want the match inside 'Hell in a Cell!'"
Richards: "What?! 'Hell in a Cell!' Are you crazy?!"
Punk: "We won't offer the match any other way. We want to make sure there is no outside interference. Two-on-two or no dice! If you don't accept that, then you can kiss a cool million goodbye!"
Adam Cole: "Britt and I, we got this! Let's do it, Jordan!"
Richards: "Are you sure about this?!"
Cole: "I guarantee victory!"
Richards: "All right, Punk! You're on! But, let's put this match on the grand stage! We have a huge pay-per-view coming up on October twenty-ninth called 'Halloween Havoc.' We'll do it then. In the meantime, if you so much as sniff at the direction of ringside during one of our matches, you're both fired and the match is off!"
Punk: "Fair enough! We'll see you in Las Vegas!"
Regal: "All I can say is wow!"
"The Richards Collective" left the ring with their championships intact. Ricochet stopped Jordan Richards and Commissioner Ric Flair and grabbed a microphone.
Ricochet: "Hey, I'm feeling generous tonight and I'm looking to get back to my winning ways. So, I'd like to put up the Cruiserweight Championship in another open challenge."
Richards: "An open challenge? That didn't work out too well for us last time we did that."
Ricochet: "Exactly. Which is why I want to make it right tonight! Right now, in fact! Any man brave enough to face the reigning and defending 'King of the Cruiserweights,' step up to the plate!"
After a few seconds, this entrance video aired on the tron:
The arena exploded as Kota Ibushi came to ringside, wearing the NWA North American Heavyweight Championship. Ricochet's eyes were as big as saucers.
Ricochet: "Hey, he can't accept this challenge, can he 'Naitch?!' He's not on the roster yet!"
Ric Flair: "Actually, he signed this morning. You laid out the challenge, man. I can't do anything about it now. You'd better beat him is all I can say."
Match One ~ NWA: Show Time Cruiserweight Championship ~ "King of the Cruiserweights" Ricochet with Maryse Ouellet vs. Kota Ibushi
Winner and NEW NWA: Show Time Cruiserweight Champion = Kota Ibushi by pinfall in 13:39
Ibushi grabbed both of his championships and celebrated into the crowd.
Regal: "We have a new champion! Ricochet has been dethroned by the debuting Kota Ibushi!"
Michael Hayes: "That's how you make a debut right there!"
Jim Cornette: "Kota Ibushi is one of the finest wrestlers in the world and competes in several weight classes! Ricochet stuck his foot in his mouth and has lost an open challenge two weeks in a row!"
Regal: "Jordan Richards and Ric Flair have come back to the ring and they are beside themselves! Maryse attempted to help her man, and it backfired big time!"
Hayes: "What was supposed to be a double-team ended up being a 'Phoenix-Plex' after the botch!"
Cornette: "Richards is hot! He might spontaneously combust right now!"
Richards: "Ricochet, you WILL win that title back next week or else!"
Regal: "Oh my! Jordan Richards just gave Ricochet an ultimatum! Fans, we have to take a break. Back in a moment!"
Regal: "We're back and we're still reeling from what we've seen so far in this episode! It's been action-packed already, and we're just getting started!"
The arena lights suddenly went out. Then, this entrance video aired on the tron:
Then, this ominous individual came to the ring:
Bray Wyatt came to the ring with lantern in hand. The arena looked like thousands of fireflies (cell phone flashlights), which has become a custom anywhere NWA World Champion Wyatt goes.
Bray Wyatt: "So, this is the land of Show Time?"
Wyatt laughed maniacally.
Wyatt: "Well, Bray Wyatt is not here to put on a show. Bray Wyatt is here to wreak havoc on the masses. Bray Wyatt is here to lay siege on the humanity that threatens my existence. Bray Wyatt is here to unleash 'The New Face of Fear." Oh, it's coming, man. It's coming. Abigail's spirit is alive and well. She has spoken and I will heed her words. Opposition will be futile. Run!"
Regal: "Wow! The NWA World Champion Bray Wyatt has just debuted and he wasted no time in putting the entire locker room on notice!"
Hayes: "'The New Face of Fear?' That doesn't sound pleasant!"
Cornette: "Have you ever known Bray Wyatt to do anything pleasant?! He lays waste to everything he touches! He's the only man to pin Brock Lesnar in the NWA! He's the 'Beast Slayer!'"
Regal: "Let's go back to the ring for a Tag Team Championship match!"
Cornette: "Yes! I'll see you boys after we win them back!"
Match Two ~ NWA: Show Time Tag Team Championship ~ "The Insurgence"--Kevin Steen & Claudio Castagnoli vs. "The Revival"--Dash Wilder & Scott Dawson with Jim Cornette
This was a phenomenal back-and-forth struggle, with both teams mastering the ring at various points. The fans didn't really know who to cheer, as they traditionally despise both teams. So, they cheered the magnificence of the action. The end came after a Cornette distraction allowed Claudio to walk into "Shatter Machine."
Winners and NEW NWA: Show Time Tag Team Champions = "The Revival" by pinfall in 20:03
Regal: "Corny was right! They have regained the championship!"
Hayes: "I hate to say it, but the guy is a great manager. He's led them right back to the titles!"
Regal: "Fans, we'll be back with our main event in just a moment!"
Regal: "We're back. For the sake of time, we'll go straight to the ring for our final bout this week!"
Match Three ~ "Three-Way Dance" to determine a number one contender to the Heavyweight Championship ~ Adam Cole with Britt Baker vs. "Priest of Punishment" Mikael Judas with Priestess Skyler Moon & The Sinister Minister vs. Matt Riddle with "Bonafide" Fred Yehi
This was a wild match featuring another new addition to the roster in Riddle, who has been on the program several times as a part of "Catch Point." Now, he's a full-fledged member of the roster and qualifies for both Cruiserweight and Heavyweight competition. Cole was inserted into the match as a buffer for "The Richards Collective." Judas dominated much of the match against either opponent. Cole was wily and sly, sticking and moving when he had openings. The barrage of outside parties factored in several times throughout the course of events. Whether distractions or blatant interferences, every person not involved in the ring found a way to make a difference from outside the ring. Ultimately, Judas had the match won. He flung Cole with "El Crucifejo." before he could make the pin, he was rolled up by Riddle. Yehi gave the assist outside of the referee's view and Judas couldn't force his way out of the predicament until after the three-count.
Winner and NEW number one contender ~ Matt Riddle by pinfall in 22:19
Riddle stumbled out of the ring before Judas could grab him. he was flanked by all of the members of "Catch Point," who came out to celebrate.
Regal: "Matt Riddle stole a very important victory, one that will grant him a future shot at Brock Lesnar!"
Hayes: "This is what he's been calling for! The former UFC fighter has said he'll retire Lesnar if he ever got him in the ring!"
Cornette: "Yeah, right! Brock outweighs him by seventy pounds or more! He'd maul Matt Riddle! Wishful thinking! But, I'd like to see it!"
Regal: "Ladies and gentlemen, we're all out of time. Please join us again next Tuesday on TBS for more of the Show Time Power Hour! And, tune into www.nwashowtime.com immediately following the broadcast for "After Buzz" with Cathy Kelley! For Michael Hayes and Jim Cornette, I'm William Regal, saying, ta ta for now!"
"NWA: Show Time After Buzz" with Cathy Kelley aired as usual.
She interviewed "Catch Point." Riddle's only response to his victory was, "Bro! Me and Lesnar, one-on-one. Bro!"
The rest of the group spoke and talked about dominating the Heavyweight and Cruiserweight divisions simultaneously. Kelly also interviewed Kota Ibushi through an interpreter. He was excited to sign with NWA: Show Time and he wanted to prove himself right off the bat. He promised to defend the Cruiserweight Championship with honor and to continue to do the same with the North American Championship.
Kelly signed off after that.
