William Regal: "Ladies and gentlemen, welcome to the finest sixty minutes of pro wrestling in the world, the Show Time Power Hour! I'm your host, William Regal. With me are my hall of fame co-hosts, Michael Hayes and Jim Cornette! Men, it's a somber day for me. I watched CM Punk and AJ Lee helping set the ring up this afternoon, knowing that they will no longer be gracing it on the program."
Michael Hayes: "It's a doggone shame, but they lost the match and that was the stip. Jordan Richards runs this thing and he's proving it."
Jim Cornette: "If you ask me, those two are insubordinate and got what they deserved! Now, they get to see how the other half lives!"
Regal: "Nevertheless, two of the best talents in the world won't be seen on this program wrestling any longer. But, that won't stop us from providing the high quality match-ups you fans have become accustomed to over the last one hundred-plus weeks! Tonight, we'll see our tag teams featured, as 'Catch Point' defends the Cruiserweight Tag Team Championship against 'British Strong Style!' 'The Insurgence' will defend their newly-won Tag Team Championship against 'Killer Elite Squad' and 'American Alpha' in a 'Three-Way Dance!' And, in our main event, 'War Machine' will defend the North American Tag Team Championship against 'Euro Trash' from NWA: UHCW!' It's going to be a dandy, so let's get it under way!"
Match One ~ NWA: Show Time Cruiserweight Tag Team Championship ~ "Catch Point"--"No Fly" Drew Gulak & "Hot Sauce" Tracy Williams with "Bonafide" Fred Yehi vs. "British Strong Style"--Tyler Bate & Trent Seven with "Bruiserweight" Pete Dunne
This ended up being the match of the night in many respects. The action was fierce and tense. The moves were crisp and precise. "Catch Point" proved why they are the champions, while "British Strong Style" proved why they are one of the finest stables in the world. It looked like we might have new champions in the end. Seven hit the "Seven-Star Lariat" and Bate followed up with the "Tyler Driver '97" on Williams, but Yehi broke up the pin, prompting the referee to call for the bell immediately.
Winners = "British Strong Style" by disqualification in 17:15 ("Catch Point" retains)
Dunne jumped into the ring and hit a "Roaring Elbow" on Yehi, which led to all six men brawling to the back.
Regal: "What a scene! A fine match was marred by interference, and a brawl ensued afterward!"
Hayes: "It was 'Katie, bar the door!' after that match was over!"
Cornette: "I don't think we've seen the last of these two teams facing off!"
Regal: "I agree! Fans, we'll take a commercial break and see if we can break this thing up backstage. We'll return in just a moment!"
Regal: "We're back. Let's show you what happened during the commercial."
The scene shifted to backstage, where the six men were fighting. Suddenly, "The Richards Collective" came into the picture and decimated "Catch Point" and "British Strong Style."
Regal: "We didn't expect 'The Richards Collective' to be here today. We had been told they were given the night off. As you can see, they are here and it looks like they're coming to the ring."
The entire group made its way to ringside, including CEO Jordan Richards, Karlee Perez, and Commissioner Ric Flair (along with the wrestlers and valets within the stable).
Jordan Richards: "Well, well, well. Since 'The Richards Collective' represents the ratings magnet for this program, I thought it wrong that we not make at least one appearance here tonight. 'Naitch,' I have to hand it to you, partner! You've booked one heck of an episode!"
Ric Flair: "Woooooo! Charlotte, North Carolina! The 'Nature Boy' always brings the best wrestling to this program each week! Jordan, that's why you pay me the big bucks! But, I agree that we'd all be remiss if there wasn't a 'Richards Collective' sighting! 'Stone Cold,' tell the world what this group has in store next week!"
Steve Austin: "First of all, we have a mud hole-stomping fiesta lined up for anybody who gets in our way! Especially, those two dirty, stinking, good-for-nothing ring crew rejects CM Punk and AJ Lee! We're putting the whole locker room on notice. Next week, we are laying out an open challenge to anyone who wants to face us in an eight-man tag! That's right! Brock, The Rock, Adam, and Ricochet will take on any four men who have the balls to come to the ring! And, we'll do you one better. If someone can pin any of them, we'll hand over all of our championship belts! That's how confident we are that we can beat anybody you got back there! And, that's the bottom line, 'cause 'Stone Cold' said so!"
Richards: "That is confidence! Here's the deal. I have put together a phenomenal roster of talent. There is no question. I put my product up against any other promotion in the world. But, it's very clear who lies at the top of the food chain around here. I am a very intelligent human being. If I wasn't, I wouldn't have gotten this far in life. This collection of athletes trumps anything going today! We are elite! Next week, we'll prove just how good we are together! So, any four men from that locker room are welcome to show up next Tuesday and bring their A-game. Because, it'll take the match of your lives and a little more to come close to beating us. I guarantee it! Now folks, you've seen enough of us. Our time is valuable and we have other business to attend to."
With that, "The Richards Collective" left ringside.
Regal: "That's a monumental announcement! 'The Richards Collective' has laid down the challenge for an eight-man tag team match next week against any four members of the roster. And, if those four men win, Lesnar, The Rock, and Ricochet would be forced to relinquish their championships!"
Hayes: "That's huge, daddy! But, you heard Austin. That's how confident they are!"
Cornette: "The only four men capable of beating 'The Richards Collective' are my two teams, but I don't think we'll cross the boss next week! Let it be someone else's funeral!"
Regal: "That's a smart play, Jim! Fans, let's go back to the ring!"
Match Two ~ NWA: Show Time Tag Team Championship ~ "The Insurgence"--Kevin Steen & Claudio Castagnoli vs. "Killer Elite Squad"--Davey Boy Smith, Jr. & Lance Hoyt with Taylor Gallagher
This was another fantastic bout with a different flair than the first. This was a more grounded affair, much heavier-hitting. All four men are well-versed in the sweet science, but can rough it up when need be. "KES" is the more smash-mouth of the duos, but the champions held their ground. Ultimately, it was mistimed interference from manager Taylor Gallagher that spelled the doom of her charges. Her costly error put Hoyt in position to be leveled by a huge "European Uppercut" and "Neutralizer" from Castagnoli for the pin.
Winners and STILL NWA: Show Time Tag Team Champions = "The Insurgence" by pinfall in 14:02
Regal: "Taylor Gallagher would like to have that last sequence back! She made a big mistake, which cost her men dearly!"
Hayes: "Yeah, she mucked it up big time!"
Cornette: "That's why I've said all these women running around here is a nuisance!"
Regal: "Be that as it may, Smith and Hoyt are understandably upset in the ring right now!"
"KES" was joined by the Dudleys, with both teams berating Gallagher. Bully Ray screamed, "Enough is enough! Taylor, you're fired!" Gallagher was reduced to tears as the four men left the ring. She looked around the arena for a few moments before exiting dejectedly.
Regal: "Taylor Gallagher was just fired as the manager of 'The Reckoning!' Well Jim, I guess that's one less female around here. I suppose you're happy?"
Cornette: "I'm not mad. She was nice to look at, but that wasn't the first time she's cost her team the match. If you're not cutting the mustard, you need to be cut loose!"
Regal: "That she was, unceremoniously in fact! Fans, we'll be back after this break."
Regal: "Fans, we're back from the break. We just witnessed the public firing of Taylor Gallagher by 'The Reckoning.' It's all about performance around here. If you're not up to snuff, I guess you get tossed! Jim, I don't envy you managers at all!"
Cornette: "You don't have to worry about me! I'm the manager of champions! I always get the job done and I've never been fired by a team I was in charge of!"
Regal: "Well, that remains to be seen. It's time to get going with our main event! The North American Tag team Champions 'war Machine' are back on the program and set to defend against 'Euro Trash,' from across the pond! They represent NWA: UHCW. This should be a very interesting contrast of styles!"
Hayes: "It's gonna be good! I'll guarantee that!"
Cornette: "It doesn't matter to me who wins this match, because one of my teams will be waiting in the wings! We're the rightful champions in the first place!"
Match Three ~ NWA North American Tag Team Championship ~ "War Machine"--Hansen & Raymond "Death" Rowe vs. "Euro Trash"--Tommy End & "The Villain" Marty Scurll with Zack Sabre, Jr.
This was a brutal match on all accounts. All four men bled before this one was through. Scurll took the brunt of the beating. After no less than six near falls (2.5 count or closer), "War Machine" finally finished Scurll off with "Fallout" after they had taken out both End and Sabre with a "Suicide Dive" by Hansen.
Winners and STILL NWA North American Tag Team Champions = "War Machine" by pinfall in 25:38
Regal: "What a fight! Nasty encounter!"
Hayes: "That's was a 'Freebird' style match! I loved it!"
Cornette: "Well, it looks like it's 'War Machine' who will be our next victim. I have a little surprise for them."
Regal: "What does that mean?!"
Just then, "Sons of Steel" and "The Revival" came from the back and laid the wood to "War Machine." After leaving them laying, they posed over their broken bodies in the ring. Cornette left commentary to join them with the North American Tag Team Championship belts held high.
Regal: "Well then, that was a clear message sent to 'War Machine' that they will still be contending with Cornette's henchmen! Fans, we're out of time for this episode. Please join us next Tuesday on TBS for more of the Show Time Power Hour and that gigantic eight-man tag team match with title ramifications! For Michael Hayes and Jim Cornette, I'm William Regal, saying, ta ta for now!"
After the broadcast went off the air, "After Buzz" with Cathy Kelley aired on www.nwashowtime.com:
Cathy talked about Jim Cornette's group leaving "War Machine" laying. She spoke with Cornette, who guaranteed one of his two teams would walk away with the NWA North American Tag Team Championship. Kelley then spoke with "Fire-n-Nice," the combination of Britt Baker and Chelsea Green, who had their NWA: Femme Fatales Ladies Night Ultra Championship belts en tow. They promised to rule NWA: Femme Fatales and NWA: Show Time. Kelly then conjectured about the future of CM Punk and wife AJ Lee after being relegated to the ring crew.
