William Regal: "Ladies and gentlemen, welcome to the finest sixty minutes of pro wrestling in the world, the Show Time Power Hour! I'm your host, William Regal. with me are Michael Hayes and Jim Cornette! We have another fantastic episode lined up coming off the heels of a very controversial program last week!"
Michael Hayes: "We'll see Ricochet defend the Cruiserweight Championship against new number one contender Pete Dunne!"
Jim Cornette: "We'll also see my new friends 'The Revival' get their much deserved rematch against CM Punk and Adam Cole for the Tag Team Championship!"
Regal: "Your new friends?"
Cornette: "You heard me, William! Remember how 'The Revival' said they were going to find someone to look out for their interests?! Well, I am that someone! I'm the new advisor to 'The Revival!'"
Hayes: "And we're just now finding out about this?!"
Cornette: "Fellas, it won't change anything in the commentary booth except for the fact that I'll be ringside when my guys are in the ring! I'm back in the game, boys, and I'm gonna take these guys to the top of the mountain!"
Regal: "Well now, that was an unexpected revelation at the top of the hour! Fans, let's go to the ring for our first match!"
Match One ~ Mordecai the Zealot with "The New Church" vs. "Born Winner" Mike Madden with Truth Martini & the "Hoopla Hotties"--Shotzi Blackkhartt, Zahra, & Dana Adiva
The entourages outnumbered the wrestlers in this short match. Madden is a technical wizard, but he was no match for the sheer size and intensity of Mordecai. The Zealot dismantled Madden and made quick work of him. He finished Madden with the "Pale Rider."
Winner = Mordecai by pinfall in 3:16
Regal: "Mordecai was impressive tonight! He obliterated Mike Madden, who is a fine wrestler in his own right!"
Hayes: "Yeah, he broke him in half with that 'Pale Rider' 'Powerbomb!'"
Cornette: "He doesn't get paid by the hour and he showed it there!"
Regal: "We'll be back with more in just a moment!"
As the episode came back to air, the scene was backstage with Britt Baker and AJ Lee once again arguing.
Britt Baker: "You'd better be on the same page with Adam and I tonight! This is a title defense!"
AJ Lee: "Do you think I'm an idiot?! I know what's at stake! Even though we hate your guts, we also know what it means to be champions! We'll make sure we keep the belts!"
Baker: "If you don't, there will be a heavy price to pay! Mark my words, tramp!"
Lee: "Screw you, skank!"
Baker walked off and Maria Kanellis stepped into view.
Lee: "What do you want?!"
Maria Kanellis: "No need to get testy, AJ. I come in peace. I couldn't help but overhear your conversation with that witch Britt Baker. Look, the bottom line is that we both hate her, so I have a proposition that we work together to take her out of the equation."
Lee: "I'm listening."
The scene cut away to the announce team.
Regal: "Oh my! Is AJ Lee going to join forces with Maria Kanellis against Britt Baker. That won't sit well with anyone in 'The Richards Collective.'"
Hayes: "Except for maybe CM Punk."
Regal: "Touché."
Cornette: "I wouldn't trust that turncoat Maria as far as I could throw her! She'd pat you on the shoulder with one hand and stab you in the back with the other!"
Regal: "It's an interesting development indeed. Let's go back to the ring."
Match Two ~ NWA: Show Time Cruiserweight Championship ~ Ricochet with "La Reine" Maryse Ouellet vs. "Bruiserweight" Pete Dunne
Early on, Dunne was arrogant, slapping away a coy handshake attempt and pulling on Ricochet’s fingers while using his smooth and brutal chain wrestling. Ricochet hit the "Spinebuster" and then the "People’s Moonsault." Then, the pace picked up. Ricochet hit a "619" in the corner, then dived onto Dunne. Ricochet hit a beautiful series of "European Uppercuts" and then landed a "Falcon Arrow/Brainbuster" combo for a two-count. Dunne caught Ricochet attempting a "Moonsault" and turned it into a "Tombstone." Ricochet hit a beautiful "630 Senton" for the win after a "Reverse Hurricanrana" and an "Over-the-Shoulder Driver."
Winner and STILL NWA: Show Time Cruiserweight Champion = Ricochet by pinfall in 13:32
Regal: "That was a show-stealer! Impressive outing by both men!"
Hayes: "I'm always impressed with Ricochet, but Pete Dunne showed me something tonight!"
Cornette: "Yeah, Dunne was the surprise for me as well! That guy can go!"
Regal: "We'll be back with 'SoCal' Val interviewing 'The Revival,' next! Stay with us!"
Regal: "We're back! As promised, 'SoCal' Val is standing by with Dash and Dawson, along with their new advisor and our broadcast colleague, Jim Cornette."
Valerie Wyndham: "I'm here with 'The Revival' and the man who announced at the top of our program that he is their advisor, Jim Cornette. Jim, I want to ask you first, how did this come about?"
Cornette: "Well, you see Valerie, these two are the best tag team in the world, bar none. But, they have been getting raw deals for months. They get screwed over by the Hardys when they should be World Tag Team Champions right now. Then, they get betrayed and have the Show Time Tag Team Championship stolen from them! They have been getting the shaft left and right! Enough is enough! I see greatness in these two, but they need someone in their corner who actually looks out for them instead of waiting for an opportunity to backstab them! That's where I come in! As the greatest managerial mind in the history of pro wrestling, I can guide these men to the promised land and make sure they never get taken advantage of again!"
Wyndham: "Tonight, Dash, you and Scott have the opportunity to regain the Tag Team Championship you say was stolen from you. What will it take to defeat CM Punk and Adam Cole?"
Dash Wilder: "It will take 'The Revival' being exactly who we are, and that's the best team on the planet! Adam Cole and CM Punk winning the titles was a fluke, plain and simple. Now, Punk is our friend, but business is business. Those belts are as good as ours!"
Scott Dawson: "We call ourselves 'top guys' for a reason, because we are always at the top of the card and we're always the best wrestlers in the room! That will be no different here tonight! we're coming for what's ours and we've got this man in the corner watching our blindsides! We can't lose!"
Cornette: "In the immortal words of Dash and Dawson, (the three in unison) top guys out!"
Regal: "Corny has 'The Revival' feeling good ahead of their title shot!"
Hayes: "Yeah, he looks very comfortable in his new position as their advisor. Of course, any time he can run his mouth, he likes it!"
Regal: "Let's go to the ring for eight-man action!"
Match Three ~ "The Reckoning"--Bully Ray Dudley, D-Von Dudley, and "Killer Elite Squad"--Davey Boy Smith, Jr. & Lance Hoyt with Taylor Gallagher vs. "War Machine"--Hansen & Raymond "Death" Rowe and "Sons of Steel"--Boomer Payne & Brice Anthony
This was a fight. No flip, flop, and fly from these eight. They use the smash mouth variety of pro wrestling. It didn't last too long. You wouldn't expect it to with the hard-hitting action we saw. The end came controversially. Brice Anthony had D-Von pinned with an "O'Connor Roll," but the referee's attention was diverted by the other men fighting outside. Lance Hoyt snuck in and hit a massive "Clothesline" that turned Brice inside out. D-Von covered Brice and Hoyt alerted the referee, who made the count.
Winners = "The Reckoning" by pinfall in 9:52
Regal: "Brice Anthony had that match won! What a travesty!"
Hayes: "'The Reckoning' got away with one there!"
Cornette: "They sure did! But, if the ref didn't see it, it didn't happen!"
Regal: "Fans, we'll be back with our Tag Team Championship main event after the break!"
Regal: "We're back and ready to go! It's main event time!"
Match Four ~ NWA: Show Time Tag Team Championship ~ "The Richards Collective"--CM Punk & Adam Cole with AJ Lee and Britt Baker vs. "The Revival"--Dash Wilder & Scott Dawson with Jim Cornette
This was a breathtaking match that it could be said was better than the forty-five-minute match they had for the title change. "The Revival" Was in control throughout. They looked confident and sharp with Cornette in their corner. During the match, Maria Kanellis came to ringside. She and AJ Lee attacked Britt Baker outside the ring. Cole became distracted by this. He left the ring to stop the beating, leaving Punk to fend for himself. Cole escorted Baker to the back. Dash and Dawson took full advantage of this and worked Punk over. CM was in dire straits as he had no one to tag in for several minutes. The referee got knocked down after Punk hit Dawson with a "Dropkick" that sent Scott flying into the official. During this time, Commissioner Ric Flair came out and knocked Cornette to the floor. He stole Cornette's trademark tennis racket in the process. Flair used it to bash Dash and Dawson in the heads as they set Punk up for "Shatter Machine." Adam Cole ran back into the ring and promptly hit "Last Shot" on Dawson. Flair roused the referee, who made a groggy count.
Winner and STILL NWA: Show Time Tag Team Champions = "The Richards Collective" by pinfall in 28:27
Regal: "That was highway robbery perpetrated by our very own Commissioner!"
Hayes: "Ric Flair out and out cheated 'The Revival' to keep the belts on Punk and Cole!"
Regal: "And Jim Cornette got knocked to the floor on top of it all!"
Hayes: "Well, I can't say I'm not happy about that. Just a little bit, anyway."
Regal: "That notwithstanding, it's clear that Jordan Richards will stop at nothing to ensure that his group runs NWA: Show Time!"
Jordan Richards and Karlee Perez joined Cole and Punk in the ring. Punk was berating Cole for leaving him during the match. Cole was berating Punk for allowing his wife to run unchecked and attack his girlfriend. Richards stepped in and admonished Punk, who walked away in disgust.
Regal: "Fans, we're out of time for this week. Please join us next Tuesday on TBS for more of the Show Time Power Hour! For Michael Hayes and Jim Cornette, I'm William Regal, saying, ta ta for now!"
