Before the episode intro played, a video aired showing CM Punk and AJ Lee talking with "The Revival."
CM Punk: "Listen guys, I hated that we had that match last week and I hated the outcome. But, you have to look at it from our perspective. They're forcing my hand by threatening AJ's job!"
Scott Dawson: "Look, we get it. That's your wife and you gotta do what you gotta do. But, it ain't gonna happen to us again!"
Dash Wilder: "That's right, Phil. There's no one left to watch our backs anymore. Jordan has you on lockdown. So, we're gonna find someone who will protect our blindside for us. But, you better get out of here before the wrong person sees you! Well, too late."
Adam Cole and Britt baker walked up.
Adam Cole: "Well, well, well, if it isn't my Tag Team Championship partner cavorting with the enemies. Wait until Jordan finds out about this."
Punk: "It was a conversation, simple as that! I was just apologizing to my friends for being forced to fight them!"
Cole: "You don't owe these chumps anything! They're yesterday's news!"
Dawson: "Cole, in a fair fight, we'd whip you up one side and down the other!"
Cole: "You had forty-five minutes to prove it last week and you couldn't! I guess you're not such 'top guys' after all! Punk, AJ, get out of here, now!"
Britt Baker: "Yeah AJ! Don't you have some errands to run for us?!"
AJ Lee: "Shut up, b****!"
Baker: "I'll show you a b****!"
Lee and Baker began to tussle, but were quickly broken up by their respective men.
Cole: "Control your psycho wife, Punk!"
Punk: "You control your little girlfriend! She doesn't order my wife around!"
Cole: "Check your contract! We own you!"
The scene faded to black before the normal intro aired.
William Regal: "Ladies and gentlemen, welcome to the finest sixty minutes if pro wrestling in the world, the Show Time Power Hour! I'm your host, William Regal. I'm joined by my co-hosts, Michael Hayes and Jim Cornette! We have a treat for you tonight, as Heavyweight Champion Brock Lesnar will defend the title against 'Broken Bomb' Jason Justice! That should be a dandy!"
Michael Hayes: "It should be a straight-up fight!"
Jim Cornette: "Two big boys throwing hands for our top prize?! I like it!"
Regal: "Also, we'll have 'War Machine' defending the North American Tag Team Championship against 'Reno Scum!' That, and we'll start the hour with a Cruiserweight 'Scramble' to determine a number one contender to Ricochet, who will be at ringside! Let's get this night kicked off!"
Before the match could begin, "Ladies and Gentlemen" by Saliva played to bring out CEO Jordan Richards to a ringing chorus of boos.
Jordan Richards: "You people are showing just how fickle you are! This time a month ago, my music hits and you're cheering like mad. Now, you boo me out of the building. Well, it's a good thing I don't conduct business based solely on popular opinion! I get that you are conditioned to like a particular thing and if something changes, you cease to like it. You're ignorant sheep and you think that your opinions are the ones that matter. Well, I'm sorry to burst your collective bubble, but the only opinion that pays the bills around here is mine! The reason there is a 'show' for you to watch is because of my hard work! In fact, from now on, I demand to be referred to by my original moniker, 'The Show' Jordan Richards! Now, to my next order of business. I am bringing on a new staff member to 'The Richards Collective' today. I need someone to function as my personal assistant for all matters wrestling related. As you know, Stacy Keibler runs the day-to-day operations of my business foundation. Eve Torres runs the administrative needs for the 'Collective.' Now, AJ Lee is the personal assistant to Commissioner Flair and 'Stone Cold.' But, I need someone to attend to my needs at television tapings, live events, and other functions. So, I'm promoting someone who is already under contract to this company. So, without further adieu, let me introduce the former 'Empress of the Underground,' who is now the 'Empress of the Empire,' Karlee Perez!"
Regal: "Whoa! So, Catrina, whose real name is Karlee Perez, has been brought on as Jordan Richards' personal assistant?!"
Karlee Perez came sauntering out to a mixed reaction. She had a sly grin on her face.
Richards: "Now, don't worry about 'Worldwide Underground.' They'll be taken care of. In fact, I've already found a suitable replacement for Karlee in their group. But, she was destined for bigger things. Now, she's in a position more tailored to her station and expertise."
Karlee Perez: "When Jordan Richards makes an offer like the one he did to me, you take it and ask no questions. I am where I belong, at the top of the food chain!"
Richards: "Ha, ha! This is my kind of lady! I think this will be a very profitable arrangement! Now Karlee, let us adjoin to my executive office. We have business to attend."
Perez: "With pleasure."
Regal: "Well then, perhaps we can get this first match started."
Match One ~ Cruiserweight "Scramble" match to determine a number one contender to the NWA: Show Time Cruiserweight Championship ~ Johnny Mundo, Jack Evans, "Darewolf" PJ Black, "The Man Gravity Forgot" Adrian Neville, Solomon Crowe, Jay White, Jonathan Gresham, Hangman Page, Tony Nese, Trent Seven, "Bruiserweight" Pete Dunne, Tyler Bate, "No Fly" Drew Gulak, "Hot Sauce" Tracy Williams, "Bonafide" Fred Yehi, Colton Piper, Richie Steamboat
"Worldwide Underground" came to the ring together with Taya en tow. Apparently, she has replaced the former Catrina in the group. Considering that Taya and Mundo are engaged to be married, it seems to be a natural fit. The match was as fast and exciting as we might have predicted. Each man involved went for pins almost immediately. There were no less than eight pinfalls in the twenty-minute match. Another peculiar circumstance was the continued situation between Solomon Crowe and Jay White during the match. Crowe seemed to be looking out for White, though that assistance seemed to be unsolicited. Jonathan Gresham had some brief moments of interaction with them as well. As the last seconds ticked away, the final pinfall came frenetically and slightly controversially. Adrian Neville hit "Red Arrow" on Piper. He went for the pin, but Pete Dunne kicked him in the face and covered Piper himself. Seven and Bate fended off the others as Dunne got the pin. No one else could score a fall before the bell.
Winner = Pete Dunne in a total match time of 20:00
Regal: "I have always been a fan of 'British Strong Style' and they did not disappoint tonight! Pete Dunne has earned a future shot at Ricochet, who seems to be applauding his efforts!"
Hayes: Great match with a surprising end!"
Cornette: "Those Cruiserweights are quicker than a hiccup! What action!"
Regal: "Fans, let's take a commercial break. We'll be back momentarily!"
Regal: "We're back! Joanna Rose is standing by with tonight's Heavyweight Championship challenger, who's with the rest of his 'Broken Universe.' Joanna, take it away!"
Joanna Rose: "I've been joined by 'Broken Bomb' Jason Justice, 'Broken Soldier' Gunner, and 'Broken Savior' Jon Skyler. Jason, you'll be challenging for the Heavyweight Championship, currently held by 'The Beast' Brock Lesnar. What are your thoughts?"
Jason Justice: "The seven deities have spoken to 'Broken' Matt and Brother Nero. They have declared our mission, to embark on a greater expedition of gold. We have been given clear instructions to seek out the most prominent pieces of gold we can find. What better place to look than in our own back yard?"
Rose: "Any championship is difficult to win. But, to defeat Brock Lesnar, might be an impossible task. He seems unbeatable."
Justice: "Though odds might be stacked in his favor, I am playing with house money. The 'Broken Bomb' is still ticking. Detonation could be any second. Brock Lesnar will be caught in the crosshairs. Tonight, the expedition begins. Tick, tick, tick..."
Rose: "You heard it here, William. A bizarre interview indeed."
Regal: "Thank you, Joanna. Jason Justice didn't need any help being eccentric. Being 'Broken' may have sent him completely over the edge. Let's go to the ring for the North American Tag Team Championship match!"
Match Two ~ NWA North American Tag Team Championship ~ "War Machine"--Hansen & Raymond "Death" Rowe vs. "Reno Scum"--Luster the Legend & Adam Thornstowe with "Patron Saint of Filth" Christina Von Eerie
This was a hardnosed, smash mouthed style match that both teams relished. "War Machine" has dominated since reforming several months ago. The have traveled throughout the US and Canada defending their championships proudly. "Reno Scum" is one of those wildcard teams that it hard to gauge. Their style is one that lends itself to unpredictability. Ultimately, this came down to a test of sheer will. "Reno Scum" hit the team finisher on Rowe, but the pin attempt was broken up by Hansen. A four-way brawl ensued. Eventually, "War Machine" hit "Fallout" on Luster. The referee was knocked down and did not make the count. Christina Von Eerie interfered and broke up the pin. She smacked a chairshot over Hansen's back, but he barely felt any pain. He and Rowe began to circle Vone Eerie. She retreated as Thornstow blasted both Hansen and Rowe in the back with the chair. He then nailed Hansen in the forehead with the chair and dumped Rowe to the outside. The referee roused as Von Eerie grabbed the chair and got it out of the ring. Adam made the cover.
Winners and NEW NWA North American Tag Team Champions = "Reno Scum" by pinfall in 14:23
Senior Referee Nick Patrick ran to the ring to and alerted assigned match referee Justin King of the nefarious actions. Referee King reversed his decision, citing the chair use causing a disqualification.
Winners and STILL NWA North American Tag Team Champions = "War Machine" by disqualification in 14:23
Regal: "At least justice prevailed in that match!"
Hayes: "No kidding. 'War Machine' dodged a bullet in that one!"
Cornette: "Justice prevails. Ha! I wonder if we'll be saying that in the main event!"
Regal: "It could be. It would history-making if we did! We'll have that huge main event when we return. Stay with us!"
Regal: "We're back! Let's go to the ring for our main event!"
Match Three ~ NWA: Show Time Heavyweight Championship ~ "The Beast" Brock Lesnar with Eve Torres vs. "Broken Bomb" Jason Justice with "Broken Soldier" Gunner & "Broken Savior" Jon Skyler
Justice was a house of fire early on. He took the fight to Lesnar, proving he was not intimidated by the aura and mystique that Brock brings. Lesnar eventually got the upper hand, but still did not dominate Justice. He had to wear him down, which he did for several minutes. Justice began to fire up and show signs of life. He made his comeback with fury. Jason had a real sense of urgency. It was almost as if he sensed his moment. He hit Lesnar with the "Psycho Slam," but Brock's legs swung out and clipped the referee. He was only off his feet for a few seconds, then responded to the pin attempt. Brock managed to get his shoulder up at the last second to break the pin. Justice couldn't believe that he had the champion dead to rights but couldn't finish him. Justice went for a second "Psycho Slam," but Brock spun away from it and hit an "F-5." Justice was out of it, but flung his foot on the bottom rope at two. Torres was standing right there and flung his foot off the rope before the referee saw it.
Winner and STILL NWA: Show Time Heavyweight Champion = Brock Lesnar by pinfall in 22:09
Regal: "That was blatant interference by Eve Torres! She cost Justice the match!"
Hayes: "Yep! We all saw it!"
Cornette: "I saw Lesnar kick out of a pin and Justice did not. Brock won. End of story."
Regal: "Brock may have kicked out of a pin attempt, but he may not have if the referee could have counted immediately!"
Cornette: "If 'ifs' and 'buts' were candy and nuts, we'd all have a fabulous Christmas too! Jason Justice lost! Pure and simple!"
Regal: "That notwithstanding, we did see a fine hour of action! Fans, please join us next Tuesday on TBS for more of the Show Time Power Hour! For Michael Hayes and Jim Cornette, I'm William Regal, saying, ta ta for now!"
