The episode began with a cutaway to backstage, where Commissioner "Nature Boy" Ric Flair was seen talking to Maria Kanellis. The camera could pick their conversation:
Ric Flair: "So, you're challenging Braun Strowman on behalf of Adam Cole? Why?"
Maria Kanellis: "Because Adam Cole is the best d*** pro wrestler in the world, and he'll prove it against Braun! When he does, I will have shown Adam that I am better for his career than his little tramp girlfriend! In fact, I'm so confident Adam will win, I'll even agree to put the TV Championship on the line!"
Flair: "Are you serious?! Does Adam know about this?!"
Kanellis: "I am Adam's manager. Trust me."
Flair: "All right. I hope you know what you're doing. If you want it, I'll sign it. They'll go in the main event."
Kanellis walked away with a huge smirk on her face. Then, the normal show intro then began.
William Regal: "Ladies and gentlemen, welcome to the finest sixty minutes of pro wrestling in the world, the Show Time Power Hour! I'm your host, William Regal. Alongside me are hall of famers Michael Hayes and Jim Cornette!"
Michael Hayes: "We're in the 'Queen City,' and the action is gonna be hot tonight!"
Jim Cornette: "You said it, Mike! We've got an hour scheduled that would make my dear mama proud to be a wrestling fan!"
Regal: "Indeed we do! In our main event, Adam Cole will defend the Television Championship against the massive challenge of Braun Strowman! This match actually was suggested by Cole's manager Maria Kanellis."
Hayes: "I think she still resents Adam for bringing his girlfriend Britt Baker in and she might be getting a little off the cuff revenge!'
Cornette: "Well, I used to say women had no business in this business. I've softened my stance on that, but Adam Cole may be rethinking his choice of managers after he goes head-to-head with 'The Monster Among Men!'"
Regal: "We also have a special challenge match. 'Sons of Steel' has laid down the gauntlet against 'Catch Point' and invited Matt Riddle to join his three mates and meet them and two partners tonight. The challenge was accepted, so we'll see that eight-man in the hour! Mikael Judas will represent 'The New Church' as he defends the Mid-Atlantic Championship against Hangman Page, and 'War Machine' will defend the North American Tag Team Championship against 'The Revival' in a grudge match! Let's get this started!"
Match One ~ "Catch Point"--"No Fly" Drew Gulak, "Hot Sauce" Tracy Williams, "Bonafide" Fred Yehi, & Matt Riddle (NWA: HAWK) vs. "Sons of Steel"--Boomer Payne & Brice Anthony, Will Ospreay (NWA: HAWK), & Jay White
"Sons of Steel" shocked the world when they brought Cruiserweight sensation Jay White and NWA: HAWK standout Will Ospreay in to team with them. Boomer grabbed the microphone and said, "We have a few friends in this business," before the surprise entrances of Ospreay and White. The crowd went wild for this match, which was off the charts good. It was one of the best ten-minute matches you will see anywhere in the world. Ospreay and Riddle in particular had several amazing exchanges, as they represented their home promotion NWA: HAWK well. Ultimately, it was Ospreay who helped lead his team to victory with the "540 Corkscrew Senton Bomb" on Yehi.
Winners = "Sons of Steel," Will Ospreay, & Jay White by pinfall in 10:03
After the match, "Catch Point" attacked and left the victors laying before stranding tall and saluting the crowd with their signature hand symbol taunt.
Regal: "Well, it seems that 'Catch Point' lost that battle, but they be winning the war after that beat down."
Hayes: "They left them laying like an alley fight!"
Cornette: "But, what a fantastic match that happened before that! Those guys are phenomenal in the ring!"
Regal: "Fans, we'll pause for a commercial break, then we're back for the first of three title matches!"
Regal: "We're back! Let's go to the ring!"
Match Two ~ NWA: Show Time Mid-Atlantic Championship ~ "Priest of Punishment" Mikael Judas with "The Enchantress" Skyler Moon & The Sinister Minister vs. Hangman Page
Page fought as hard as he could against seemingly an over stacked deck. He is much smaller than Judas, but he made up for it with tenacity and a mean streak. The problem is that Judas is even meaner and more sadistic. Page managed a brief flurry of offense, even hitting his "Rite of Passage" finisher. But, Judas kicked out at one. Eventually, he hit "El Crucifejo" and launched Page across the ring.
Winner and STILL NWA: Show Time Mid-Atlantic Champion = Mikael Judas by pinfall in 8:12
Regal: "Mikael Judas is even more deadly than before since forming 'The New Church.' He seems laser focused and impervious to pain."
Hayes: "I still can't believe he kicked out of Page's finisher at one!"
Cornette: "Mikael Judas is everyone's Halloween nightmare in a six-foot, eight-inch package!"
Regal: "Fans, we'll take another break. When we return, the North American Tag Team Championship will be defended on this program for the first time ever!"
Regal: "We're back and we need to keep this hour rolling! Let's go back to the ring!"
Match Three ~ NWA North American Tag Team Championship ~ "War Machine"--Hansen & Raymond "Death" Rowe vs. "The Revival"--Dash Wilder & Scott Dawson with "Stone Cold" Steve Austin
This was a fight and a classic rolled into one. It was a technical masterpiece in tag team precision. "The Revival" isolated Rowe for quite some time and dissected him. Rowe finally managed a tag to Hansen, who came in and cleaned house. He hit the "Spinkick of Doom" on Dash and Dawson separately. Rowe recovered and he and Hansen nailed "Fallout" on Dawson. The referee did not see the move as he was trying to get Dash out of the ring. "Stone Cold" Steve Austin tossed a steel chair into the ring. Rowe caught it and the referee turned around to see him with it. He immediately called for the bell.
Winners = "The Revival" by disqualification in 20:21 ("War Machine" retains the championship)
Regal: "What a dastardly move by Austin! He saw his men were defeated, so he engaged in some trickery to save them!"
Hayes: "It looked like his plan backfired at first. But, his team got the win anyway!"
Cornette: "I'd say it was genius! He snatched a victory out of the jaws of defeat. Now, 'The Revival' owns a win against the number two team in the world, based on those gold belts they carry around."
Regal: "You have a point there. I'm sure they'll use that as impetus for a rematch. Fans, we have to take another break. We'll be back shortly with our main event!"
Regal: "Back from the break. Fans, Maria Kanellis asked for a match with Braun Strowman to 'prove how good Adam Cole really is.' There has been a lot of animosity of late in the Cole camp between Maria and Cole's girlfriend. we'll see if that has any bearing on the match. Commissioner Ric Flair has signed it, so it's official. Here we go!"
Match Four ~ NWA: Show Time Television Championship ~ Adam Cole with Maria Kanellis & Britt Baker vs. "The Monster Among Men" Braun Strowman
This match became more about the subplot on the outside between Kanellis and Baker. Maria kept yelling at Cole that Britt was a distraction. Cole kept yelling that Maria was being a distraction. This led to Adam taking his eyes off the match, where he got caught with a huge "Clothesline" that was followed up by Strowman's "Running Powerslam."
Winner and NEW NWA: Show Time Television Champion ~ Braun Strowman by pinfall in 18:47
Regal: "We have a new champion and those two ladies constantly infighting cost Cole the title!"
Hayes: "Yep! Those girls done did him in!"
Cornette: "I told you that women were a nuisance, especially those two to the career of Adam Cole!"
Regal: "Fans, Strowman is the new TV Champion and Adam Cole is left mediating between two mad ladies! What will come of this situation? We'll find out next week! Tune in to TBS next Tuesday for more of the Show Time Power Hour! For Michael Hayes and Jim Cornette, I'm William Regal, saying, ta ta for now!"
The episode went off the air with Cole, Kanellis, and Baker arguing in center ring.
