"Show Time Power Hour" TV Taping Number 52 (Week 103)

William Regal: "Ladies and gentlemen, welcome to the finest sixty minutes of pro wrestling in the world, the Show Time Power Hour! I'm your host, William Regal. With me is my hall of fame co-host, Michael Hayes!"

Michael Hayes: "What's up, Charlotte?!"

Regal: "I'd like to introduce the newest member of our broadcast team, legendary manager and commentator, 'Louisville Lip' Jim Cornette! Jim, it's an honor!"

Jim Cornette: "I'd say the honor is all mine, but it probably is yours! Ha ha! I kid! I am happy to be a part of NWA: Show Time and the Power Hour! Not since my days with 'The Midnight Express' have I been more excited to be a part of this sport! And, what a day to debut, with a huge 'Three-Way Dance' for the Heavyweight Championship!"

Regal: "Yes, we do! Brock Lesnar will defend against both CM Punk and Braun Strowman in our main event! Plus, 'Catch Point' debuts in tag team action! but first, 'The Broken Universe' will take on 'Team Angle' in our first match-up! Let's go to the ring!"

Match One ~ "The Broken Universe"--"Broken Bomb" Jason Justice, "Broken Soldier" Gunner, & "Broken Savior" Jon Skyler vs. "Team Angle"--"Olympic Hero" Kurt Angle and "American Alpha"--Jason Jordan & Chad Gable

This was a very good technical match. All six men were on their games. This was a stalemate until the very end. The tide turned in favor of "The Broken Universe" after the appearance of this lady at ringside:

Reby Hardy (under contract to NWA: UHCW), wife of "Broken" Matt Hardy, strolled out with a smirk on her face. She distracted Angle long enough for him to get caught with a "Psycho Slam" for the pin.

Winners = "The Broken Universe" by pinfall in 10:09

Regal: "Reby Hardy has made her first appearance on our program, and it led to victory!"

Hayes: "She didn't do much, but it made all the difference in the world."

Cornette: "I often say that women are a distraction. That's exactly what Reby Hardy wanted to be. It worked like a charm!"

Regal: "Fans, we'll be back in just a moment! Stay with us!"

Regal: "Fans, we're back from the break and ready for more action!"

Match Two ~ "Catch Point"--"No Fly" Drew Gulak & "Hot Sauce" Tracy Williams with "Bonafide" Fred Yehi vs. "Sons of Steel"--Boomer Payne & Brice Anthony

This was a phenomenal scientific match, for the most part. "Catch Point," the Evolve Tag Team Champions, controlled the majority of the offense. Payne was isolated for several minutes without a tag to Anhtony. Once he got in, Brice turned the tide. He took out every member of "Catch Point" and the fans were rallying behind him. He and Boomer went for the "Steel Curtain" on Gulak, but were accosted by an individual who has yet to make and appearance on NWA: Show Time programming--Matt Riddle (under contract to NWA: HAWK). He locked in the "Bromission" on Payne as the other three members of "Catch Point" attacked Anthony.

Winners = "Sons of Steel" by disqualification in 14:37

Regal: "What is Matt Riddle doing here?!"

Hayes: It looks like he's doing a number on Boomer Payne from here!"

Cornette: "Matt Riddle has joined his teammates in 'Catch Point' to render a beat down to 'Sons of Steel!'"

All four members of "Catch Point" posed after the mugging of "Sons of Steel:"

Cornette: "This crew has been running roughshod over the Evolve promotion for months!"

Regal: "It looks like, in some capacity, they might do the same here. We need to go to commercial and check on the health of Boomer Payne and Brice Anthony! We'll be back."

Regal: "We're back and 'Sons of Steel' left under their own power. They were not happy about the unfolding of events here tonight. 'SoCal' Val is backstage with them now."

Valerie Wyndham: "I'm here with 'Sons of Steel,' who emerged victorious by disqualification against 'Catch Point,' but took a beating afterward from all four members of the group, including Matt Riddle, who is under contract to NWA: HAWK. Gentlemen, your thoughts?"

Boomer Payne: "Our thoughts?! We think 'Catch Point' just made a mistake that jumps off the page! If you're going to come after 'Sons of Steel,' you'd better get the job done! We walked away, which means we're coming after you!"

Brice Anthony: "When we're done with you, you're going to wish you looked as good as we do now!"

Wyndham: "William, back to you."

Regal: "Well, they are about as mad as one would expect."

Hayes: "Somebody's gonna get a tail whipping!"

Cornette: "That's 'Catch Point's' MO. They believe in gang warfare and they stick together to outnumber their opponents. 'Sons of Steel' may be out for blood, but they'd better prepare to face four men!"

Regal: "It certainly looks as though they very happily engage in a pack mentality. That could spell trouble for the roster of NWA: Show Time. Fans, for the sake of time, we're going straight to the main event."

Match Three ~ NWA: Show Time Heavyweight Championship ~ "Three-Way Dance"~ "The Beast" Brock Lesnar with Eve Torres vs. CM Punk with AJ Lee & "Stone Cold" Steve Austin vs. Braun Strowman

This was an epic struggle that saw Lesnar and Strowman teeing off on one another. Punk tried to dodge both, but he got bombs dropped on him several times. At the end, it was like three heavyweight boxers in a slugfest. Strowman hit his "Running Powerslam" on Punk. Before he could cover, Lesnar sent him packing with an "F-5." Brock then covered Punk for the win.

Winner and STILL NWA: Show Time Heavyweight Champion = Brock Lesnar by pinfall in 30:54

Regal: "What a match!"

Hayes: "What a fight!"

Cornette: "That was a titanic struggle and I am happy to have been here for it!"
