William Regal: "Ladies and gentlemen, welcome to the finest sixty minutes of pro wrestling in the world, the Show Time Power Hour! I'm your host, William Regal. With me is my hall of fame co-host, Michael Hayes! Michael, we have some major developments in NWA: Show Time to discuss here tonight!"
Michael Hayes: "You got it, Jack! In fact, we're gonna bring out CEO Jordan Richards right here at the top of the hour to do just that!"
"Ladies and Gentlemen" by Saliva blared to bring out CEO Jordan Richards.
Jordan Richards: "Well, well, well. What a difference a week makes, huh?! Last Tuesday, I made a mandate between two of the participating six-man tag team in the World Championship tournament. The goal for one of those teams was to have a better finish than the other. Well, we got our answer early on! So, let's get 'The Bullet Club' out here right now!"
Scott Hall and company came to the ring, dejectedly, as they knew their fate.
Richards: "Well, boys and girls, you know why you're out here. You lost your first tournament match and 'The Power Trip' won theirs, so, it gives me great pleasure to announce to the world that the NWA: Show Time version of 'The Bullet Club' is hereby disbanded permanently!"
Scott Hall: "Jordan Richards, you never could get rid of us on your own, so you had to do it with a technicality. Way to abuse your power, there, 'boss!'"
Richards: "Hey Scottie, I don't feel a bit badly for how this all played out. You and your cronies tried to take my promotion away from me! So, it is what it is. But, speaking of your 'boss,' as you so eloquently put it, I have an announcement to make to that end. Since you lost your job as Commissioner of this great organization, I have been searching for a replacement to fill that role. Well, I've found him. Allow me to introduce you to the new Commissioner of NWA: Show Time!"
The fans were brimming with excitement. About five seconds passed, then this intro aired on the tron:
The arena went ballistic. Charlotte, NC lost its collective mind when "Nature Boy" Ric Flair appeared in the entrance way. 'The Bullet Club' gasped. Jordan Richards grinned from ear to ear.
Richards; "Ladies and gentlemen, it is my honor and privilege to welcome a man who needs no introduction, the twenty-time World Champion, multi-time hall of famer, and greatest wrestler ever to lace up a pair of boots, the new Commissioner of NWA: Show Time, 'Nature Boy' Ric Flair! Now, Ric has been given the full weight of authority that comes along with the job of Commissioner. In fact, he and I were talking this afternoon and he has a little decision he'd like to let you in on. Ric, the floor is yours."
Ric Flair: "Wooooooooooo! Charlotte, North Carolina! The 'Nature Boy' is back home! Wooooo! I am so happy to be back in the 'Queen City,' where I live in the biggest house, on the biggest hill, on the biggest side of town! Now, back to business. Scott Hall, you and I have been down the roads many times! I have sat back and watched this whole 'Bullet Club' thing play out. I watched as you joined up with the McMahon family and tried to do to the NWA what you did to WCW twenty years ago! I also watched as this man (Jordan Richards) led the fight against you and won! Now, he and I go back a little as well. We've already been business partners before. Now, I'm fully vested, signed, sealed, and delivered, and the office of Commissioner is about to style and profile! Wooooo! And, my first official act as Commissioner is this: the former 'Bullet Club' is going to have a three-way match tonight! That's right! It's going to be Bad Luck Fale versus Hangman Page, versus your son Cody! And, just to throw a little wrinkle in the mix, the person who loses the fall will be fired on the spot!"
Hall: "You're going to fit right in here with Jordan Richards, 'Naitch!' You both know how to abuse your power!"
Flair: "Scott, I remember all the crap you, Kevin Nash, Hulk Hogan, and Eric Bischoff gave me back in the day! Now, it's payback time! By the way, that match is not only tonight, it's next!"
Regal: "My head is spinning right now!"
Hayes: "Mine too! And, there's no alcohol involved!"
Match One ~ "Three-Way Dance" ~ "Under Boss" Bad Luck Fale with Yellow Barbie vs. Hangman Page vs. Cody Hall with Scott Hall
This match started trepidatiously, as all three men had been partners for so long, they did not want to engage each other physically. However, once they all realized the loser would be fired, they began to compete without regard for their former friendship. For much of the match, Hall and Page teamed up on their larger opponent. The ploy paid off, as Page nailed his flipping "Springboard Clothesline" and Hall hit a top-rope "Elbow Drop" for the win.
Winner = Cody Hall by pinfall in 10:13
After the match, Hall and Page shook hands and went their separate ways. Fale was left in the ring, where Flair re-entered.
Flair: "Well, it looks like you are true to your name...bad luck! Fale, you're fired! Wooooo! By the way, Yellow Barbie, I like the way you look, so you can stay on as one of our dancers. Now, get out of here!"
Regal: "So, Bad Luck Fale has been fired and is being escorted out of the building by Security as we speak! Fans, we have to take a break. Stay tuned for more!"
Regal: "We're back! I'll tell you what, Michael! Ric Flair already has made a huge splash in his first moments as our new Commissioner!"
Hayes: "You got that right! He's laying down the law!"
Regal: "As we saw a couple of weeks ago, Adam Cole, who was the reigning Mid-Atlantic Champion, also won the Television Championship. Per NWA: Show Time rules, and in the interest of fairness, one individual cannot hold two championships at the same time within this organization. Cole has decided to give up the Mid-Atlantic Championship, citing the fact that the television program has a broader scope since we are broadcast worldwide on TBS. Therefore, a tournament to crown the new champion is expected imminently. more details will come as they are available. Speaking of championships, we are about to go back to the ring for a match featuring the Cruiserweight Tag Team Champions, 'Dos Reinas Rudas!'"
Match Two ~ NWA: Show Time Cruiserweight Tag Team Championship ~ "Dos Reinas Rudas (Two Mean Queens)"--Taya & Sexy Star vs. Jonathan Gresham & "Bonafide" Fred Yehi
This was a fast-paced, highly aggressive bout. Taya and Star have proven that they can hang with the guys and excel. However, Gresham was at his calculated best and really took control of this match. all four participants were in the ring at the same time. Yehi ended up locking Taya in the "Koji Clutch." Sexy and Gresham crashed into the referee, knocking all of them out of the ring. During that time, Taya began to tap out. with no referee in sight, the match continued. Out of the crowd came NWA: Femme Fatales star Queen Maya, who stomped away on Yehi, breaking the hold. Maya then hit a "Chokebomb" on Yehi. Taya then scaled to the top rope and hit a "Moonsault." Queen Maya threw the referee into the ring and held off Gresham (out of the referee's view) while he counted the pinfall.
Winners and STILL NWA: Show Time Cruiserweight Tag Team Champions = "Dos Reinas Rudas" by pinfall in 12:40
Regal: "What was Queen Maya doing here and why did she assist Taya and Sexy Star?"
Hayes: "Does she have some sort of connection or partnership with them?"
Regal: "Not that I've ever heard about! Nevertheless, she gave them a huge boost toward victory. Fans, we need to take a commercial break. Back with more in just a moment!"
Regal: "We're back! 'SoCal' Val has the Cruiserweight Tag Team Champions standing by. Let's go to them now."
Valerie Wyndham: "I'm here with Taya and Sexy Star. Ladies, we saw Queen Maya come aid you in your title defense. Have you formed a partnership with her?"
Taya: "We choose not to discuss our personal business with you, Val! Needless to say, Maya is a queen, just like us. You'll learn all you need to know when you need to know it. Vamanos, Sexy!"
Wyndham: "Well, it looks like we won't be getting any answers here today. Back to you, William."
Regal: "Thanks, Valerie. well, they're being very tight-lipped about their association with Queen Maya. we'll have to wait and see what develops. For now, let's go back to the ring!"
Match Three ~ "War Machine"--Hanson & Raymond "Death" Rowe vs. "The Dudleys"--Bully Ray & D-Von with Taylor Gallagher
This match was just as smash mouth as we expected. Both teams took advantages during the contest. Bully and D-Von took control for several minutes on Rowe, who eventually came back. "War Machine" managed to hit "Fallout," but could not complete the pin because "The Power Trip" hit the ring to cause the disqualification.
Winners = "War Machine" by disqualification in 19:39
"The Revival" laid into "War Machine," hitting "Shatter Machine" on both members. After the beating, CM Punk took a microphone.
CM Punk: "'The Power Trip' are the top dogs around here! Not you! This is what happens when you try to make us look bad!"
Steve Austin: "That's right, boys! We stomp a mud hole in you and walk it dry! And, that's the bottom line, because 'Stone Cold' said so!"
Regal: "Whoa! 'The Power Trip' came out here and laid waste to 'War Machine!'"
Hayes: "They put a country whoopin' on them, sure as the world!"
Regal: "Let's take a break while we restore order."
Regal: "Hanson and Rowe were helped to the back, but 'The Power Trip' remains out here."
Punk: "We are the best in the world! We hold the Heavyweight Championship and the Tag Team Championship! No one can touch us!"
Just then, Brock Lesnar's music hit to bring out "The Beast." He ran to the ring and took on 'The Power Trip' alone. They began to get the better of him, which prompted The Rock, Ricochet, and Adam Cole to sprint to the ring. A massive brawl ensued as the fans went crazy. Commissioner Flair came to the ring.
Flair: "If you boys want to fight, let's make it official. Get a ref out here and we'll do it!"
Match Four ~ "The Richards Collective"--"The Beast" Brock Lesnar, The Rock, Adam Cole, & "King of the Cruiserweights" Ricochet with Maria Kanellis, Maryse Ouellet, & Eve Torres vs. "The Power Trip"--CM Punk, "The Revival"--Dash Wilder and Scott Dawson, & "Stone Cold" Steve Austin with AJ Lee
This match started and ended with Lesnar giving "German Suplexes" to everyone, except Austin, who managed to avoid them like the plague. It was a melee from the word go. The referee tried to maintain order, but it was not going to happen. eventually, he threw the match out.
Winners = no contest in 6:11
Regal: "Fans, this one never was civilized. The referee mercifully called for the bell. But, that won't stop these hated enemies from going at it!"
Hayes: "It's a pier-sixer for sure!"
Regal: "Indeed! Fans, we are out of time. Please join us next Tuesday on TBS for more of the Show Time Power Hour! For Michael Hayes, I'm William Regal, saying, ta ta for now!"
"War Machine" returned to the ring and went after "The Revival." "The Power Trip" was retreating as the closing credits ran.
