William Regal: "Ladies and gentlemen, welcome to the finest sixty minutes of pro wrestling in the world, the Show Time Power Hour! I'm your host, William Regal. With me is my hall of fame co-host, Michael Hayes! Michael, we've got a donnybrook scheduled tonight!"
Michael Hayes: "Yes, sir! It's gonna be a 'Freebird' style fight in the main event! Jordan Richards has signed a two-ring, 'Fatal Four-Way Elimination Steel Cage' match that will see 'The Richards Collective' vs. 'The Power Trip' vs. 'The Insurgence' vs. 'The Bullet Club!'"
Regal: "In fact, we only have two matches signed for this episode, because the last half-hour has been devoted to this 'Steel Cage' match! The entire hour is devoted to six-man tag teams, to coincide with the beginning of the NWA World Six-Man Tag Team Championship tournament, which began yesterday and will end at NWA Spring Stampede in April!"
Hayes: "I represent the greatest six-man tag team of all time! I can vouch for the fact that the winner of this thirty-six-team tournament will be the real deal!"
Regal: "Right you are, old friend! We understand that 'SoCal' Val is backstage with new Cruiserweight Champion Ricochet and Maryse, who just arrived. Valerie?"
Valerie Wyndham: "I've just caught up with Show Time Cruiserweight Champion Ricochet. What are your thoughts after winning the championship last week?"
Ricochet: "I feel fabulous! I proved to the world that I'm the best cruiserweight in it!"
Wyndham: "They call you 'The Future of Flight,' which seems to be appropriate considering that you now represent the cruiserweight division."
Ricochet: "I am 'The Future of Flight' no more! I already have proven that I'm the best high-flier. Now, I've proven I'm the best cruiserweight! I'm the king! It's time for my coronation!"
Wyndham: "Coronation?"
Ricochet: "Yes! I am king of the cruiserweights and this is my queen!"
Wyndham: "So, you're calling yourself, 'king of the cruiserweights' now?"
Ricochet: "I'm not calling myself anything. I AM the king of the cruiserweights, whether anyone likes it or not!"
Wyndham: "There are plenty of cruiserweight superstars ready to get in the ring with and try to take the championship from you."
Ricochet: "It's time for my coronation! Maryse, where are you?!"
Maryse Ouellet: "I am here! I have it!"
Ricochet: "Fantastic! Let's do this!"
Ouellet: "I now pronounce you the true king of the cruiserweights! Your majesty, the crown." (Maryse placed a crown on Ricochet's head)
Ricochet: "And, you Maryse, are my queen! We shall reign supreme! Bow down to your king!"
Wyndham: "Well, it seems as if we've seen the coronation of a king here tonight. Back to you, William."
Regal: "Wow. Ricochet sure is taking this title victory seriously, isn't he? Fans, let's go to the ring for our first match-up, which features the debut of 'British Strong Style!'"
Match One ~ "British Strong Style"--Trent Seven, "Bruiserweight" Pete Dunne, & Tyler Bate vs. "The Menagerie"--Knox, The Titanic, & Crazzy Steve with Rebel
As Rebel did her split along the bottom rope, Trent Seven offered her a "moustache ride," which did not sit well with Knox and company, and the fight was on. This was a highly competitive match-up, with "The Menagerie" providing a macabre presence, as opposed to "British Strong Style," which is dark, brooding, and demonstrative. "BSS" was impressive, really commanding the ring with precision and hard striking. "The Menagerie" has a couple of heavy hitters in Knox and Titanic, a gargantuan with muscles on top of muscles. Crazzy Steve is much smaller than his partners and was separated from them for the bulk of the match. He finally got the tag in to Knox, who cleaned house. As the action began to break down, Steve tried to get back into the fray, only to be hit with the "Tyler Driver '97," which ended it.
Winners = "British Strong Style" by pinfall in 15:08
Regal: "Impressive outing by the British trio!"
Hayes: "I like smash mouth wrestling, and they do plenty of it!"
Regal: "We'll take a short break, then it's back for more!"
Regal: "We're back! Before we go to this huge main event, our own Joanna Rose had the unique opportunity to sit down with the new NWA World Tag Team Champions, 'The Broken Hardys,' who remain unaffiliated to the NWA. Let's here this very interesting interview now."
Joanna Rose: "I am here with the NWA World Tag Team Champions, the Hardy brothers."
Matt Hardy: "Miss Joanna of the Rose, let me very quickly correct you. For, you see, I am 'Broken' Matt Hardy and this is Brother Nero. The brothers Hardy cease to exist the way you know them."
Rose: "Fair enough. 'Broken' Matt, you and Brother Nero are not affiliated with the NWA. As of yet, you have chosen not to sign with any member promotion, yet you reign as the World Tag Team Champions. What are your plans going forward? Is there an NWA member promotion that you are looking to sign with?"
Hardy: "The seven deities have opened the 'Broken Universe' for us to traverse in our expedition of gold. It began with the NWA Tag Team Championships of the World. We will travel through time and space to defeat any tag team which holds the gold. We will make their title reigns obsolete and then we shall DELETE them from the wrestling world! Ha! Yes! So, Miss Joanna of the Rose, you ask if we seek to sign contracts to wrestle in one place? No! Surely not! 'The Broken Universe' must be untethered to purse the gold!"
Rose: "Brother Nero, the 'Broken Universe' is quite a phenomenon worldwide. You and 'Broken' Matt are recognized wherever you go. You are one of the most famous tag teams of this generation. So, why not settle down into one promotion and finish your careers?"
Brother Nero: "Finish our careers? Miss Rose, our careers will never die! Just as we shall never die! The stuff of legends lives on in infamy for all of time and space! The seven deities have given us immortality! We shall never be rendered obsolete, young Miss Rose! But, we will continue to be transposed from place to place in the expedition of gold!"
Rose: "Transposed?"
Hardy: "Ah yes, Miss Joanna of the Rose! When Brother Nero and I place our hands simultaneously on Vanguard One, the seven deities whisk us away to the next land in which we are to conquer! Space and time can no longer restrict our mortal bodies, as they have ceased. We have been given the serum of life and vitality, and therefore must move about in our search for gold. Although, I have been informed that there is tag team gold to be won here in your NWA: Time of the Show. Haha! Yes! Indulge 'Broken' Matt as I tell you what time is the show! Now is the time of show! 'Broken' Matt and Brother Nero must pay a visit to your 'Revival.' They have gold that must be expedited by the 'Broken Hardys!'"
Rose: "Are you challenging 'The Revival' for the NWA: Show Time Tag Team Championship?"
Hardy: "The 'Broken Universe' does not challenge, nor does it accept a challenge. The seven deities direct our footsteps. But, they did direct us to you. And, you work for Time of Show. This is no coincidence. Make it known that Vanguard One will teleport us through time and space, and we will find our way to your 'Revival.'"
Nero: "When we're through with your 'Revival' from Time of Show, they will be obsolete!"
Hardy: "We shall DELETE their title reign and take their gold back to House Hardy in Cameron, North Carolina! DELETE! DELETE! DELETE! DELETE! DELETE! DELETE! Hahaha! Yes!"
Rose: "There you have it. We may see the NWA World Tag Team Champions challenging our Show Time Tag Team Champions, looking to add more gold to their trophy case. Back to you, William."
Regal: "I have known the Hardys for years. While they've both been on the eccentric side, I've never seen them as bizarre as they are now."
Hayes: "I used to manage those boys! It looks to me like they've short-circuited! They're cooked!"
Regal: "Where they go from here remains to be seen. One thing's for sure. They will be looking to 'expedite' gold from every city they enter. Fans, the second ring and cage are in place. Let's get ready for our main event!"
Match Two ~ "Two Ring, Four-Way, Six-Man Tag Team, Elimination, Steel Cage' Match ~ "The Richards Collective"--"The Beast" Brock Lesnar, The Rock, & Adam Cole with Maria Kanellis and Eve Torres vs. "The Power Trip"--CM Punk & "The Revival"--Dash Wilder and Scott Dawson with AJ Lee and "Stone Cold" Steve Austin vs. "The Insurgence"--Kevin Steen, Claudio Castagnoli, & Idol Stevens with Lisa Varon vs. "The Bullet Club"--"Under Boss" Bad Luck Fale, Hangman Page, & Cody Hall with Scott Hall and Yellow Barbie
This was an early candidate for match of the year. It had everything you could think of. It looked like a warzone out there. As you might expect, the steel mesh was used multiple times to open up the flesh of the competitors. Blood flowed liberally in this one. Idol Stevens was to be pinned, as an "F-5" turned into an easy pinfall by Punk. "The Bullet Club" went next, as Cody Hall said goodnight after a "Rock Bottom." "The Power Trip" and "The Richards Collective" remained and waged a furious rivalry inside the two-ring structure. All six men were bloodied by this time. AJ Lee snuck handcuffs into the ring from the outside, which allowed Punk and "The Revival" to lock Lesnar to the cage. This lasted for several minutes as they commenced a three-on-two beatdown. Brock bellowed as he tried to free himself. As his partners were being mugged, he was powerless to aid them...for a while. Brock finally pull the handcuffs through the steel mesh, breaking apart with his brute strength. He then became a man incensed, taking out every opponents in his wake. He used the handcuffs as a weapon, since they were still strapped to his wrist. Punk took Lesnar out with a chairshot (chair had been thrown in by Austin) to the back of the knee. As they wailed on Lesnar, Maria Kanellis took off her high-heeled shoe and pushed it into the ring to The Rock. The Rock stuck the heel of the shoe into the forehead of Dawson, causing him to scream in pain. The Rock then laid the smack down on Wilder, using the shoe on the last punch. Cole smacked Punk in the back with the steel chair, then leveled him with "The Last Shot." As the combatants were strewn throughout, exhausted and ripped to shreds, Lesnar mustered one last "F-5" to Dawson, who had blood dripping from his freshest wounds. The Rock bounded off the ropes with the "People's Elbow' for the final pin.
Winners = "The Richards Collective" by pinfall in a total match time of 39:34
Regal: What a tantalizing bout! Violence personified!"
Hayes: "Yeah, and 'The Richards Collective' proved that they're not ready to give up the top spot just yet!"
Regal: "Fans, what an action-packed program we've witnessed here tonight! Unfortunately, we're out of time for this week. Please join us again next Tuesday for more of the Show Time Power Hour! For Michael Hayes, I'm William Regal, saying, ta ta for now!"
