Hello everyone, I am Joey Styles and on todays episode of This Week In ECW we take a look back to the last week and also preview the next show. It's been a busy few weeks in NWA: ECW with the shocking debut of Randy Orton a few weeks ago, to John Cena shocking the world this past week.
We start with the big news of the week and that was the debut of John Cena, something nobody expected to happen. He interfered during the main event of Hardcore TV this past Monday and cost Texano a chance to become the new ECW champion. Cena would lay out Cibernetico and then finish his attack off by attacking Randy Orton as well before exiting through the crowd and into a stretch SUV. Now the big question is why did John Cena do what he did and who sent him? We've reached out to John Cena but have been unable to get a response from him, if could be that can't see him but hopefully we get answers soon.
Randy Orton on the other hand had debuted two weeks ago by attacking AJ Styles and company. Orton followed this up by attacking both Texano & Cibernetico at SuperBrawl thus ruining the title match. We were about to get some answers last week from Orton as to what his mission is here in ECW when he was cut off, first by Cibernetico than by Texano. We can be assured that this is far from over between those three but we have to consider the Cena factor and where he plays into all of this.
Now that we've covered the big news items it's time to look ahead at the next show....
TMDK will seek revenge on C & C Wrestle Factory after the former had interfered at SuperBrawl to cost TMDK the NWA World Tag Team titles to The Broken Hardys. Last week TMDK laid out C & C Wrestle Factory backstage and demanded a match against them this coming week. We have confirmed that GM Don Callis has made the match and it will go down on the next episode of Hardcore TV, it will also be for the ECW Tag Team Titles.
Also on this weeks episide we will get to see Chris Hero in action and we will also hear from The Bullet Club who have told us that they have some very important to address. Myself and Joel Gertner will be speaking with Don Callis (Joel hates me for that) to see what, if any information he has on John Cena. All this, and so much more on the next episode of Hardcore TV!
