William Regal: "Ladies and gentlemen, welcome to the finest sixty minutes of pro wrestling in the world, the Show Time Power Hour! I'm your host, William Regal. With me is my hall of fame co-host, Michael Hayes! Michael, the action has been breaking down over the last few weeks! Anything and everything can and has happened recently!"
Michael Hayes: "You said it! Folks have been back alley brawlin' like me, 'Bamm Bamm,' and Buddy Jack used to do!"
Regal: "Indeed! It looks to be more of the same this week as we head down the road to SuperBrawl at the end of the month. Officials have already broken up a fight between Ricochet and Bully Ray, as well as a locker room argument between members of 'Los Ingobernables de Japon' and 'Meiyu Tag.' As a result of those two scrums, we will see a grudge match featuring Ricochet and Bully Ray doing battle in a 'New York Street Fight!' we'll also see a special challenge match, as Tetsuya Naito and Seiya Sanada take on 'Meiyu Tag' with their ever-present advocate, Lana! But first, we're going to the ring to see the debuts of two new signees to the Cruiserweight division, UK standouts Tyler Bate and Pete Dunne!"
Match One ~ Tyler Bate vs. "Bruiserweight" Pete Dunne
Winner: Tyler Bate by pinfall in 15:14
Regal: "What a fantastic showing by both men! Oh my, that was true European wrestling at its best!"
Hayes: "They knocked the slop out of each other, that's for sure! I'm impressed with these two youngsters!"
Regal: "Wow! What a way to start the program! Fans, we'll be back with our tag team challenge after this commercial break!"
Regal: "Fans, we're back! We're going to switch gears a little bit, as we go from European catch-as-catch-can wrestling to strong style puroresu! Let's go to the ring, where Scarlett Bordeaux is standing by!"
Match Two ~ "Meiyu Tag"--Katsuyori Shibata & Hirooki Goto with Lana vs. "Los Ingobernables de Japon"--Tetsuya Naito & Seiya Sanada
The former Tag Team Champions "Meiyu Tag" took the early fight to Naito and Sanada. Naito and Sanada turned the tide and took over mid-way through the match. Goto and Shibata waged an epic comeback and readied for the double "Penalty Kick" for the finish, but this individual came strolling out of the entrance:
Goto and Shibata stopped dead in their tracks and confronted Kamaitachi, who has not been affiliated with NWA: Show Time up to that point. Sanada took the opportunity to scoop Goto up from behind with a "Schoolboy Rool" and a handful of tights while Kamaitachi held Shibata's leg and prevented the save.
Winners = "Los Ingobernables de Japon" by pinfall in 12:26
Regal: "What is Kamaitachi doing here?! He has no business in the arena, let alone at ringside!"
Hayes: "I don't know, but he turned the tide as soon as he walked out here!"
Kamaitachi was welcomed by Naito and Sanada, along with AEVIL and BUSHI, who ran in from the back. They presented Kamaitachi with a "Los Ingobernables" hat. He put it on and shook Naito's hand to a chorus of boos. "Meiyu Tag" jumped back into the ring, but were quickly outnumbered and decimated. "Los Ingobernables" stood tall.
Regal: "We need to get some help for 'Meiyu Tag' out here! Fans, we're going to commercial and get ordered restored. Back in a moment."
Regal: "We're back from the break. 'Meiyu Tag' left under their own power, and boy were they hot!"
Hayes: "Oh, they're ready to light Naito and his crew up!"
Regal: "We haven't seen the last of this new feud. It's just getting revved up! Fans, 'SoCal' Val is standing by with Ricochet and Maryse, as they head into this big main event."
Valerie Wyndham: "I'm here with Ricochet and Maryse Ouellet. Ricochet, you and Bully Ray have been engaged in a feud that has stretched over several weeks now. Tonight may be the culmination of that in this company's first ever 'New York Street Fight.' What are your thoughts just moments away from that match?"
Ricochet: "First and foremost, I'm prepared to go to war with Bully Ray. Secondly, I have a lot to prove out there tonight. Ray has said that I don't belong in 'The Richards Collective' and that I can't win the big-money matches! I'm much younger and less experienced than Bully. He's been in so many hardcore matches, I couldn't even begin to count them. But, I have more heart than anyone in this company. They say I'm just a high-flyer, all finesse. Well, tonight I prove to the world that I can fight with the best of them!"
Wyndham: "Back to you, William!"
Regal: "Strong words from Ricochet. Joanna Rose is in the opposing locker room with Bully Ray. Let's go to her now!"
Joanna Rose: "I'm here with..."
Buly Ray: "Do you know who I am?! I know you know my name, but do you really know who you're dealing with here sweetheart?! My name is Bully Ray, and I'm the baddest man in the building! Ricochet is a glorified spot monkey that is everything wrong with pro wrestling! Tonight, I expose him for the chump he is! You ain't ready for the big time, kid! I'm sending you to the back of the line! Anything else, Joanna?!"
Rose: "No, I think you covered it quite well. Back to you, William."
Regal: "Wow! Bully Ray is focused tonight. Ricochet feels as though he has a lot to prove. I'd say Bully Ray is in the same boat, especially being the elder statesman against one of the most talented young stars in the world."
Hayes: "I agree. The young buck has shown me so much in his time here. Can he beat the legend at his own game? And, can Bully Ray turn back the clock and bring his A-game in the 'Street Fight?'"
Regal: "We'll see! Let's head back to the ring!"
Match Three ~ "New York Street Fight" ~ Bully Ray with Taylor Gallagher vs. Ricochet with Maryse Ouellet
These two left it all in the ring...and everywhere else in the arena. They beat each other from pillar to post. Bully Ray dealt out a tremendous amount of punishment, but Ricochet kept getting up. Ricochet, on the other hand, used his athleticism to shine. If it could be climbed on, he did and jumped off of it with typical death and gravity-defying form. Amazingly, Bully Ray still looked strong thirty minutes in. He and Ricochet were bloody messes, which seemed to fuel them both. Bully Ray hit a top rope "Bully Bomb," but Ricochet astoundingly kicked out. Bully attempted a second one, but Ricochet reversed and leveled his opponent with a kick to the skull. He bounded the ropes and hit his "630 Senton Splash." Rather than cover, Ricochet scaled the ropes again and connected with a scintillating "Double Rotation Moonsault" for the win.
Winner = Ricochet by pinfall in 35:07
Regal: "What a war! They went to battle!"
Hayes: "It was a street fight in every sense of the word, but Ricochet stayed tough and pulled it out!"
The fans gave the match a standing ovation. Ricochet soaked in the cheers in his exhausted state.
Regal: "Who says Ricochet can't win the big one! Fans, we're rapidly running out of time for this week! Please join us again next Tuesday on TBS for more of the Show Time Power Hour! For Michael Hayes, I'm William Regal, saying, ta ta for now!"
