William Regal: "Ladies and gentlemen, welcome to the finest sixty minutes of pro wrestling in the world, the Show Time Power Hour! I'm your host, William Regal. Alongside me is color man extraordinaire and hall of famer, Michael Hayes! Michael, the world is still buzzing about the events of last week, when special guest referee gave Adam Cole the 'Stone Cold Stunner' and handed the Heavyweight Championship to CM Punk, a longtime nemesis of his."
Michael Hayes: "I can't believe it! It's one of those surreal moments that you don't think is really happening, even when you're watching it live!"
Regal: "I've tried to reach Austin all week, with no success. He's not talking and no one knows why he did what he did last week!"
Just then, "Ladies and Gentlemen" by Saliva hit to bring out CEO Jordan Richards.
Jordan Richards: "Now, the world is talking about what happened last week in this ring. 'Stone Cold' Steve Austin, who I have on the payroll as an agent and trainer, singlehandedly ruined the main event and cost Adam Cole the Heavyweight Championship in what was shaping up to be an instant classic against CM Punk. Austin has refused to answer phone calls. He will not respond to text messages. Well, I've had enough of him ignoring me. Austin, I know you're in the back, so get out here right now and explain yourself!"
After several seconds, Steve Austin came walking out from the backstage area.
Richards: "Well, he lives indeed! So, Steve care to clue the world in on what was going through your mind last week? And, why haven't you returned any calls?!"
Steve Austin: "In the heat of the moment, I was pissed! Adam Cole put his hands on me, and no one puts their hands on 'Stone Cold' Steve Austin without paying the price! So, I dropped him with the 'Stunner' and decided I'd give Punk the belt to teach Cole a good lesson. Well, I spent the last week doing some hunting, some fishing, some beer drinking, and some soul-searching. I came to the conclusion that old 'Stone Cold' screwed up last week. I watched the playback from the match, and it looks like Adam Cole accidentally ran into me. He didn't put his hands on me on purpose. So, I made a mistake. I'm man enough to admit it."
Richards: "That's all well and good, Steve, but the damage has been done. Adam Cole is no longer the champion and CM Punk has a title he wanted to earn, and he knows he didn't."
Austin: "I get it. And, that's why I want to make it up to both of them. H**l, let's get 'em both out here right now!"
Adam Cole's music hit first to bring he and Maria Kanellis out to the ring. CM Punk's music hit to bring he and wife AJ Lee out.
Austin: "Here's what I'm offering up. I want a chance to redeem myself in front of the world. I know that Punk has already agreed to give Cole a rematch for the belt. I say we do it here tonight and let me be the special referee again!"
Adam Cole: "I don't think so, pal! You screwed me last week! Why would I even think of putting myself in that position again?!"
CM Punk: "Yeah, this makes no sense! You proved last week you can't be trusted!"
Austin: "Hey, I get it! But, that's why I need to be the referee again. I have to show everyone I can be trusted! Last week was a mistake and I admitted it. Let me fix it."
Cole: "What assurance do I have that you will be trustworthy?"
Austin: "I'm giving you my word as a man. I'm from Texas, son. Our word is our bond. If you can't trust a Texan, who can you trust?"
Richards: "All right. I'm not so sure this is a good idea. Steve, I understand your wanting to make amends for last week, but I don't know if putting yourself right back into the same situation is the best way to accomplish that. You were a wrestler for nearly two decades. That's in your blood. You can't just turn it on and off. We saw that last week."
Austin: "That's why I did all that soul-searching over the last week. I've got to make peace with this. I need to make it right. I have to prove to everyone that I'm the man I say I am. Let the boys make the call."
Richards: "You seem passionate about making this right. Adam and CM are grown men. They can make the call. If they let you officiate, you're in. If not, Senior Official Nick Patrick will take the match."
Punk: "I get where Steve is coming from with the idea to make this thing right. I feel like I stole the championship from you last week, even though I had nothing to do with it. I'm okay with Austin reffing the match. Adam, it's up to you."
Cole: "I don't know."
Austin: "Come on, man! I need to make this thing right with you especially!"
Cole: "I may regret this, but okay. Steve Austin can ref our match tonight."
Austin celebrated as everyone left the ring.
Regal: "So, we have a repeat of last week's main event. Hopefully, we will not see the same result."
Hayes: "I don't know. This could go either way."
Regal: "Fans, we have an exciting match coming up next, with The Rock challenging Cody Hall for the Mid-Atlantic Championship! Let's go to the ring!"
Match One ~ NWA: Show Time Mid-Atlantic Championship ~ Cody Hall with Commissioner Scott Hall and Yellow Barbie vs. The Rock with Eve Torres
The Rock dominated the match. he was in rare form. Hall was in defensive mode from the opening bell. Nothing he tried worked. Ultimately, The Rock nailed a "People's Elbow" in center ring and went for the cover. Commissioner Hall interfered for the disqualification.
Winner = The Rock by disqualification in 10:14 (Hall retains)
Regal: "Scott hall blatantly interfered on behalf of his son! That is conduct unbecoming of the Commissioner of this great company!"
Hayes: "I wish Jordan Richards could fire him for it, but he's got an ironclad contract!"
Regal: "Fans, we'll be right back with more action."
Regal: "We're back. 'SoCal' Val is standing by with Commissioner Scott Hall and 'The Bullet Club' right now. Val?"
Valerie Wyndham: "I'm here with Commissioner Scott Hall and the rest of 'The Bullet Club.' We watched you blatantly interfere on behalf of your son, just to keep the Mid-Atlantic Championship around his waist. That does not seem to be acceptable conduct from the Commissioner of NWA: Show Time. What do you have to say for yourself?"
Scott Hall: "Hey, yo! It's not acceptable to help my own flesh and blood succeed in his chosen profession?! By who's definition?!"
Wyndham: "Well, you hold an administrative position in this company. I would think that should come with some integrity."
Hall: "Integrity?! You got Jordan Richards running around here abusing his power left and right, setting himself up with a super group while he sells the contracts of a founding member of 'Bullet Club' and his brother?! But, no one is running around here talking about integrity with him?! Why am I being singled out?! The bottom line is this, Val. Jordan Richards has handicapped this group for long enough. I've got a huge surprise for everyone!"
Wyndham: "What sort of surprise are you talking about?"
Hall: "You'll know it when you see it."
Wyndham: "Cryptic words from Scott Hall. Back to you, William."
Regal: "I don't like the sound of that at all."
Hayes: "Me neither. No 'Bullet Club' surprise can end well for us."
Regal: "Let's go back to the ring."
Match Two~ Special Challenge ~ Ricochet and "The Beast" Brock Lesnar with Maryse Ouellet & Eve Torres vs. "Killer Elite Squad"--Davey Boy Smith, Jr. & Lance Hoyt with Taylor Gallagher
This was a fight from the word go. When he was in the ring, Lesnar dominated. Ricochet held his own against much bigger competition. The end came when Lesnar attempted an "F-5" on Hoyt. Smith "Chop Blocked" him and threw him out of the ring. Smith then nailed a "Clothesline" on Ricochet and "KES" followed it up with the "Killer Bomb." Smith kept Lesnar out of the ring while the count ensued.
Winners = "Killer Elite Squad" by pinfall in 12:32
Regal: "'KES' pulled out the victory. That's a little bit of a surprise!"
Hayes: "They're a tough team, but you just never expect 'The Richards Collective' to lose."
Regal: "Wow! We'll be back in a moment."
Regal: "We're back from the break and it's main event time!"
Match Three ~ NWA: Show Time Heavyweight Championship ~ Special Referee "Stone Cold" Steve Austin ~ CM Punk with AJ Lee vs. Adam Cole with Maria Kanellis
Even more so than last week, this had "instant classic" written all over. The back-and-forth action was phenomenal. These two took it to another level. Referee Austin seemed to be calling everything right down the middle, almost deliberately so. But, his intentions were clear by the end of the match. Cole was on a roll and hit the "Last Shot." He went for the cover. Austin counted to two, then flipped Cole a double bird. Adam Stood up and ate a "Stone Cold Stunner." Austin got in his face and berated him. Austin then helped Punk to his feet. As Cole staggered up himself, Austin hit another "Stunner" that staggered Cole right into a "GTS." Punk covered for the pin.
Winner and STILL NWA: Show Time Heavyweight Champion = CM Punk by pinfall in 30:45
Punk and Austin celebrated after the bell. Lee looked a little confused, but joined them in the ring. Kanellis was in shock.
Regal: "What?! Austin and Punk were in cahoots the whole time!"
Hayes: "They swerved us all!"
Regal: "CM Punk has turned his back on 'The Richards Collective,' it would seem! I don't get it! He and 'Stone Cold' have waged a war of words for many years! Now, they're partners?!"
Jordan Richards stormed the ring to confront Austin and Punk. He received a "Stone Cold Stunner" for his troubles.
Regal: "The fans are shocked. We're shocked. Jordan Richards was shocked and is now laying prone beside Adam Cole as Steve Austin and CM Punk stand triumphant in center ring. Fans, I don't know what to make of it! We'll have to get to the bottom of this! For now, we're out of time on the broadcast, unfortunately. Please join us again next Tuesday on TBS for more of the Show Time Power Hour! For Michael Hayes, I'm William Regal. Goodnight, everyone."
