William Regal: "Ladies and gentlemen, welcome to the finest sixty minutes of pro wrestling in the world, the Show Time Power Hour! I'm your host, William Regal. Alongside me is hall of famer Michael Hayes! Michael, something has to give with former World Heavyweight Champion Brock Lesnar! The man has destroyed everything in his path since being robbed of the championship at Starrcade! It seems that he will stop at nothing to get his hands on Kevin Steen and Commissioner Scott Hall!"
Michael Hayes: "You said it, Billy boy! Brock Lesnar is a beast on the loose! Even Jordan Richards can't control the man!"
Regal: "We will hear from Brock Lesnar himself on the matter a little later on. We'll also see The Rock defend the Mid-Atlantic Championship against Cody Hall and Adam Cole will do battle with Hangman Page with the Heavyweight Championship on the line in a 'Street Fight!' Hopefully, this will end that vendetta once and for all. But first, let's go to the ring for a 'triple threat tag team' match!"
Match One ~ "Triple Threat Tag Team' match ~ "The Richards Collective"--CM Punk & Ricochet with AJ Lee and Maryse Ouellet vs. "The Outsiders"--Kevin Steen & Claudio Castagnoli with Black Widow vs. "Killer Elite Squad"--Davey Boy Smith, Jr. & Lance Hoyt with Taylor Gallagher
This match had so much action, it was almost difficult to follow. Each team shined at various points. The end came when Punk hit "Go to Sleep," followed by the "630 Senton Splash" from Ricochet onto Hoyt, only to have Steen swoop in and toss them to steal the pin.
Winners = "The Outsiders" by pinfall in 17:12
Immediately after the match, Brock Lesnar hit the ring and went after Steen, who escaped through the crowd. Lesnar did manage to grab a hold of Castagnoli and level him with an "F-5." Brock seethed the entire time and glared at Steen, who refused to approach ringside. Lesnar then grabbed a microphone.
Brock Lesnar: "Kevin Steen! I want your a-- in this ring right now! But, because I know how much of a coward you are, it's not going to happen! So, I demand a match to be signed with you and Scott Hall against me! I don't care if it's a 'handicap' match! I just want to be in the same ring at the same time with you two punks again! This time, I can guarantee things will be different! You cost me the World Title! Now, I owe you the a-- beating of a lifetime! Jordan, get out here and make the match now!"
"Ladies and Gentlemen" by Saliva hit to bring out CEO Jordan Richards.
Jordan Richards: "So, it seems that this man will not cease to destroy all opposition until his demands are met. I have attempted to reason with Brock Lesnar, to no avail. I would have hoped that either Kevin Steen or Commissioner Scott Hall would have stepped up to the plate like men and volunteered for a match with Mr. Lesnar. But, as I expected, neither of them want any part of 'The Beast.' So, I took the liberty of signing an open contract today on behalf of them all. So, next week, we will see a match take place between Brock Lesnar, Kevin Steen, and Scott Hall. Call it a 'three-way dance.' Call it a 'handicap' match. regardless, the three of you will be in the ring against each other. What happens after the bell rings will be sorted out among the participants. Now, to ensure that no one get into the match who should not be there, or that no one in the match can escape, I am ordering this match to be contested within the confines of a steel cage! Furthermore, this will be a 'last man standing' match!"
Steen was livid from the crowd. Commissioner Scott Hall came out to protest as well.
Scott Hall: "I am retired from active competition! How can you put me in a match?! I didn't agree to that! I refuse to be in that match, and there's nothing you can to make me!"
Richards: "Scottie, my good man, you clearly have not read through the entirety of your contract. Yes, it is guaranteed. So, I cannot fire you. However, there is a clause buried in it, whereby I am able to discipline you as I see fit when your speech or conduct is undesirable. Well, since it was your interference that led directly to a contracted talent losing a match and a World Championship, that is deemed as conduct unbecoming the office of Commissioner. This match is your punishment for that. It's ironclad, my friend. The company attorneys have already confirmed it. So, there's not a dang thing you can do to get out of the match. If you don't show up, you'll be fined six months salary!"
Hall: What?! You can't do that to me! I'm retired!"
Richards: "Well, your license is up to date, so you'll be coming out of retirement for one more main event, 'Bad Guy!'"
Lesnar took the microphone from Jordan Richards for one last parting word.
Lesnar: "I'll see you next week, boys!"
Regal: "Oh my! What a first segment that was! 'The Outsiders' stole the three-way, Brock Lesnar destroyed Castagnoli, and Jordan Richards signed a three-man 'steel cage' match for next week!"
Hayes: "That's how you get an hour started right!"
Regal: "Fans, we'll be back in just a moment!"
Regal: "We're back from the break! It's time for the Mid-Atlantic Championship match!"
Match Two ~ NWA: Show Time Mid-Atlantic Championship ~ The Rock with Eve Torres vs. Cody Hall with Bad Luck Fale, Commissioner Scott Hall, & Yellow Barbie
The Rock dominated this match, for the most part. The athleticism of Hall kept him in it. But, the veteran Rock kept exposing the lack of experience in his younger challenger. Interference from "The Bullet Club," a constant staple in their matches, reared its ugly head once again. While Hall had the referee distracted arguing a call, Fale nailed The Rock in the back of the head with a steel chair shot. He roused Hall, who eventually took advantage with a "Razor's Edge."
Winner and NEW NWA: Show Time Mid-Atlantic Champion = Cody Hall by pinfall in 13:02
Regal: "That's another championship stolen by 'The Bullet Club' due to outside interference!"
Hayes: "It's the same old song and dance! Change the record already!"
Regal: "Fans, we have to take a commercial break. We'll be back with the main event!"
Regal: "It's 'street fight' time!"
Match Three ~ NWA: Show Time Heavyweight Championship ~ "Street Fight" ~ Adam Cole with Maria Kanellis vs. Hangman Page with Bad Luck Fale, Commissioner Scott Hall, & Yellow Barbie
These two tore the house down. It was a brawl from the opening bell. The match took to the stands, to the dressing room, and to the ringside area. Anything that could be used as a weapon was. There were chairs, ringside steps, trash cans, TV monitors, backstage equipment, and a myriad of other goodies used as plunder for the battle. "The Bullet Club" continually interfered, as expected, but were neutralized by "The Richards Collective," which chased them away from the ring and held the fort until the finish. The final sequence was particularly brutal. Page went for his trademark "Rite of Passage" onto the steel steps. Cole reversed it into the "Panama Sunrise," which bounced Page's head unceremoniously off the steel. he was rendered unconscious as a bloodied champion crawled over for the pin.
Winner and STILL NWA: Show Time Heavyweight Champion = Adam Cole by pinfall in 24:19
Regal: "Adam Cole retains the title in a phenomenal match-up!"
Hayes: "That was everything we wanted to see in a 'street fight!' It was just a mean match! That was old school right there!"
Regal: "Indeed! fans, that takes us to the end of this week's broadcast! Please join us again next Tuesday on TBS for more of the Show Time Power Hour! And, don't forget about the huge 'Big Gold' Platinum Anniversary Tournament next Friday in Chapel Hill, NC! For Michael Hayes, I'm William Regal, saying, ta ta for now!"
The episode ended with Cole standing triumphant in the ring with the rest of "The Richards Collective." "Bullet Club" attempted a quick ambush, but were easily turned back.
