Madusa Miceli: "Ladies and gentlemen, welcome to the hottest hour on television, Femme Fatales! I'm your hostess, Madusa Miceli. With me are Renee Young and Melissa Santos! Ladies, GM AJ Lee set up one heck of an episode for us here today! We have three big main event caliber matches, including a rematch for the TV Title, the Shirais against 'Twizted Sisterz,' and Kairi Hojo will face Chelsea Diamond with no disqualifications!"
Renee Young: "What a way to charge into the Christmas season! Today's episode is the gift that keeps on giving!"
Melissa Santos: "I have been waiting all week for today! It's going to be epic!"
Miceli: "You better believe it! Besides all that, AJ Lee has a huge announcement on behalf of our owner Jordan Richards! So, let's get it started!"
Match One ~ NWA: Femme Fatales Television Championship ~ ACT Yasukawa with Chelsea Diamond vs. Hikaru Shida with "The Boss" Manami Toyota
This was an even bigger war than last week. Both ladies tore into each other with some ferocity. Yasukawa was more vicious than usual. Shida was on the defense for much of the match. The referee was struck down inadvertently toward the end of the match. Shida hit a "Falcon Arrow," but there was no one to make a count. During this portion of the match, there was interference from both sides. Chelsea nailed Toyota from behind, then interfered in the bout by hitting a running "Yakuza Kick" on Shida that flattened her. Chelsea then placed Yasukawa on top of Shida. Toyota had recovered and landed a "Missile Dropkick" on Diamond, knocking her out of the ring. She then hit a "Japanese Ocean Queen Bee Bomb" on ACT, then rolled Shida on top of her. Toyota slid out of the ring as the referee was becoming aware again. The referee turned around into the pin and made the count.
Winner and NEW NWA: Femme Fatales Television Champion = Hikaru Shida by pinfall in 15:18
Miceli: "We've got a new champ! But, that match was not without controversy!"
Young: "There was a cluster of interference on both sides. But, I was impressed with Manami Toyota! She looked like her old self in there!"
Santos: "Manami is still getting it down at forty-five years old!"
Miceli: "Fans, we'll be back with the tag team match next!"
Miceli: "Fans, we're back! I'm getting word that GM AJ Lee is coming to the ring at this time with that big announcement! Amanda Rodriguez is standing by."
Amanda Rodriguez: "Ladies and gentlemen, please welcome Femme Fatales General Manager AJ Lee!"
AJ Lee: "Thank you! Before I get to the business I came out here for, I must talk about the match we just saw. The finish of that battle was very controversial, as both sides saw interference while the assigned referee was incapacitated. Because that interference put in doubt who the clear winner of the match may have been, Commissioner Aikawa and I have decided to hold the championship up, effective immediately. Hikaru Shida will be given credit as a two-time Champion, but she will have to relinquish the championship to Commissioner Aikawa before she leaves the arena. We have already decided to have another rematch between Hikaru and ACT next week on this program. To ensure an even contest, I am assigning two referees and banning all members of 'Joshi Mafia' and 'Oedo Tai' from ringside for the duration of the match. With that said, now onto the business that brought me out here originally. Our ringside attendant has a velour bag containing a very beautiful piece of hardware."
AJ Lee has handed the bag and pulled out this immaculate beauty:
Lee: "As you all saw on Tuesday's broadcast of the Show Time Power Hour, a tournament for the twentieth anniversary platinum edition of the 'Big Gold' World Championship will be presented to the winner of a one-night tournament on December twenty-third in Chapel Hill, North Carolina. Well, the women wanted to celebrate the twentieth anniversary of 'Big Gold' as well. So, Jordan Richards has authorized me to announce that NWA: Femme Fatales will vie for this stunning platinum and blue emerald championship belt in the same venue, the Dean Smith Center on the campus of the University of North Carolina, on December twenty-forth, Christmas Eve. There are sixteen women who have previously held singles championships and who currently wrestle for this company. Technically, there are seventeen if ACT Yasukawa is included. Unfortunately, Jordan Richards had already set the brackets before she won the Television Championship last week, so she will not participate in the tournament. The brackets will be displayed on this broadcast before it goes off the air. Good luck to every woman who will be a part of the twentieth anniversary tournament!"
Miceli: "Wow! Two big announcements there for the price of one! The TV Title has been held up and will be determined in a rematch next week with two refs and everyone else barred from ringside. And, our girls will be tangling in a one-night tournament on Christmas Eve for that awesome platinum replica of 'Big Gold!' It almost makes me wish I had won a singles title here!"
Young: "I agree! That championship is exquisite!"
Santos: "Talk about some bling for someone's trophy case! That's it, right there!"
Miceli: "Fans, we'll be back after this commercial break."
Miceli: "We're back from the break! It's time for the tag team grudge match!"
Match Two ~ Io & Mio Shirai with "The Boss" Manami Toyota vs. "Twizted Sisterz"--Thunder Rosa & Holidead with Hana Kimura
This was booked as a non-title match (Shirais are Tag Team Champions). However, Thunder Rosa grabbed a microphone before the match and challenged for the championships. Initially, the Shirais balked until Holidead took the microphone and made a derogatory comment about the Shirai family. The title fight was promptly accepted and the referee rang the bell. The Shirais worked flawlessly in tandem. Rosa and Holidead are dangerous in their own right. Their chaotic and frenetic style is difficult to defend, but the Shirais were masterful. They only made one tactical error, and it cost them. As they set up for the assisted "Tornado DDT" finisher, Io slipped as she was scaling the ropes, which caused about a one or two-second delay. That was enough time for Rosa to recover and push Io off the top. Holidead then executed a "Victory Roll" on Mio, who tried valiantly to kick out, but Holidead had a huge handful of Mio's tights outside the referee's view.
Winners and NEW NWA: Femme Fatales Tag Team Champions = "Twizted Sisterz" by pinfall in 17:03
Miceli: "That's our second match and second title change tonight!"
Young: "I thought the Shirai sisters had that one in the bag! 'Twizted Sisterz' stole one from them right there!"
Santos: "'Oedo Tai' is proving to be a thorn in the side of 'Joshi Mafia!' They've taken two championships away from them in two weeks' time!"
Miceli: "Fans, when we return, we'll have our 'no disqualification' main event!"
Miceli: "Here we go!"
Match Three ~ "No Disqualification" match ~ Kairi Hojo vs. Chelsea Diamond with ACT Yasukawa
Hojo typically comes to the ring in multi-colored, ornate outfits, which are a big hit with fans. However, on this night, she was all business and dressed to fight:
The tall and lanky Chelsea towered over Kairi, who showed no signs of intimidation. An intense stare down began the proceedings. That was followed by a punch exchange that would make hockey players proud. There were two very specific agendas in play. Chelsea was bent on satiating her obsession with being "better" than Kairi, had blood lust in her eyes. Hojo was as focused as she had ever been, with the notion of retribution on the brain after the brutal betrayal of her former best friend Diamond. Neither asked a quarter and neither gave one. They beat each other from pillar to post. The end came after they had exhausted each other. Chelsea had Kairi perched on the top rope and looked to take advantage with a "Superplex." Kairi began "Headbutting" Chelsea repeatedly, finally knocking her off the ropes. This gave her time to stand up and hit her patented "Flying Elbow Drop." Kairi slumped to the canvas, having used her last ounce of energy to soar. The referee began to count, but neither woman responded.
Winner = no contest in 27:31
Miceli: "They both beat each other into exhaustion! Neither woman quit, but neither could get the win!"
Young: "Fantastic fight! What a match! I can't believe there was no winner!"
Santos: "My hat's off to both ladies! They literally left everything they had in the ring!"
Both ladies were helped to the back by officials. The crowd gave them a standing ovation.
Miceli: "I don't think either of them will feel like they got what they came for. With no clear-cut victor, we have to see them go at it one more time! Fans, we're all out of time. Please join us again next Thursday on TNT for Femme Fatales! For Renee Young and Melissa Santos, I'm Madusa Miceli! Keep on rockin' and rollin'!"
As promised, the "Big Gold" Platinum Anniversary Tournament brackets were displayed on the screen as the episode went off the air.
