William Regal: "Ladies and gentlemen, welcome to the finest sixty minutes of pro wrestling in the world, the Show Time Power Hour! I'm your host, William Regal. With me is my hall of fame co-host, Michael Hayes! Michael, we are coming off the biggest Starrcade in history and there has been a major shake-up that involves NWA: Show Time!"
Michael Hayes: "That's right, Billy boy! Brock Lesnar was dethroned as the NWA World Heavyweight Champion by Bray Wyatt, after interference from what seemed like everybody in the locker room! The whole 'Wyatt Family' attacked Brock, then Kevin Steen and Scott Hall showed up and cost Lesnar the match and the title! I still can't believe those two were working together! I can tell you, because I saw him come in today, that Brock Lesnar is pissed, brother! He's as man as I have ever seen the man! Somebody is going to 'Suplex City' tonight!"
Regal: "I fear that you are correct, good sir. Brock Lesnar is hot, to say the least. Fans, also, we saw ACT Yasukawa turn on 'Joshi Mafia' and join the new 'Oedo Tai' stable, over at our sister promotion, NWA: Femme Fatales. Things definitely are chaotic in the Jordan Richards owned territories right now. But, congratulations are in order for Kairi Hojo, who captured the NWA World Women's Championship at the big event as well!"
Hayes: "Kairi Hojo is the best women's wrestler on the planet! Now, she has the hardware to prove it!"
Regal: "It was a huge night that fans will not soon forgot. but, controversy surrounded the night. For that, there certainly will be repercussions. Let's shift gears and talk about today's episode. Dean Ambrose will defend the Cruiserweight Championship against Jay White! That should be fantastic! Also, Ricochet will put the Television Championship on the line against the challenge of Jay Lethal. Fans, it's going to be a great one! Let's go to the ring for our first match-up!"
Match One ~ "The Axis of Evil"--"Bugarian Brute" Miroslav Barnyashev, Sheamus, & "Meiyu Tag"--Hirooki Goto and Katsuyori Shibata with Lana vs. "Los Ingobernables de Japon (The Ungovernables of Japan)"--Seiya Sanada, Tetsuya Naito, "King of Darkness" EVIL, & BUSHI
This match only got about three minutes in before Brock Lesnar stormed the ring and destroyed everyone in sight by himself.
Winners = no contest in 3:23
Lesnar was seemingly impervious to pain, shrugging off any attempts by the eight men in front of him to take him down. After he had destroyed the lot of them, he glared into the camera, wide eyed and clearly in a rage. Jordan Richards came to the ring and took a microphone from the ringside attendant.
Jordan Richards: "While I do not condone Mr. Lesnar interrupting a match on this program, and my apologies to the participants for your inconvenience and any damage to your persons, I do understand the reason for Mr. Lesnar's outburst and his overall demeanor. You see, Brock is highly upset that, not only did his year-long stranglehold on the NWA World Heavyweight Championship come to an end, but it did so in a fashion that he had no control over and one which never should have occurred. Brock understands why the 'Wyatt Family' interfered in the match. Heck, he almost would even condone it. That's what they do. They protect the interests of the man who has brainwashed them, Bray Wyatt. Mr. Wyatt, I would advise that you not get very comfortable with the NWA World Heavyweight Championship. You see, Brock has a mandatory title rematch clause, as all former champions do. So, he will be coming for you. However, it will not be immediately. Brock has placed a very high priority on gaining vengeance on the two individuals who perpetrated the theft. Those two men being Kevin Steen and NWA: Show Time Commissioner Scott Hall. First of all, it seems fairly mysterious to most people why these two worked in tandem, when 'The Outsiders' and 'The Bullet Club' seem to be sworn enemies. While that may the true, what also is true is that 'The Richards Collective' is a common enemy of both 'The Outsiders' and 'The Bullet Club.' So, we surmise that a deal was struck, whereby the two entities put aside their differences for the common goal of costing Brock the World Championship. My question is, what do you get out of that deal? Why poke 'The Beast' with a stick? Gentlemen, whatever your agreement, I hope your collusion is worth the pain and anguish that you will endure at the hands of this uncontrollable monster. Mark my words. This man was the hunted for over a year. Now, he has become the hunter. He smells the faint aroma of blood in the air. So, he will seek and destroy. I almost feel sorry for anyone who crosses paths with this man until his bloodlust is satiated. It's going to be a violent Christmas season, I can tell you that. Kevin Steen, Scott Hall, and all of your cronies are in the crosshairs. May God have mercy on your souls."
Richards basically had to drag Lesnar away from the ring.
Regal: "This could get ugly."
Hayes: "Oh, it's ugly already. It could get worse."
Regal: "Fans, we'll be back after the commercial break."
Regal: "We're back and it's time for the Cruiserweight Championship match! Let's go to the ring!"
Match Two ~ NWA: Show Time Cruiserweight Championship ~ Dean Ambrose vs. Jay White
The young prodigy White absolutely overwhelmed Ambrose from the opening bell. Dean was backpedaling almost immediately. White actually seemed to be on the way to capturing the championship. He hit the "Missile Kick" and took Ambrose down. Dean barely got his foot on the ropes to break the pin. Ambrose retreated to the corner. White followed. As the referee was attempting to break them up, Ambrose snuck in a low blow. He then hit "Dirty Deeds" and escaped with his title intact.
Winner and STILL NWA: Show Time Cruiserweight Champion = Dean Ambrose by pinfall in 14:12
Regal: "Well, Dean sure did steal victory out of the jaws of defeat."
Hayes: "Yeah, he stole it all right!"
Regal: "Fans, we welcome our newest correspondent, my fellow country woman, Joanna Rose! She is standing by backstage with Commissioner Scott Hall, who may shed some light on the events that unfolded at Starrcade! Joanna, take it away!"
Joanna Rose: "Thank you, William! I'm standing by with NWA: Show Time Commissioner Scott Hall. Scott, the world watched as you and Kevin Steen, who we thought was your enemy, band together to cost Brock Lesnar the NWA World Championship. The world has one question: why?"
Scott Hall: "Hey, yo! Joanna, is it? Listen, what Scott Hall and 'The Bullet Club' do is our business. But, just because you're hot, I'll spill some of it. Yes, Kevin Steen and I came to a mutual agreement for the greater good."
Rose: "And what 'greater good' is that?"
Hall: "Taking 'The Richards Collective' down a notch. Not only does Jordan Richards own the company, he's amassed a stable full of thoroughbreds to surround himself with and keep his agenda intact. Enough is enough!"
Rose: "So, taking the World Championship away from Brock Lesnar takes Jordan Richards down a notch?"
Hall: "Exactly. Richards is Chairman of the BoG. He knows that the World Title gives the owner more power in the grand scheme of things. So, we take the strap away and he does not hold all the cards. That makes him more vulnerable politically."
Rose: "Why join forces with Kevin Steen?"
Hall: "Steen was a means to an end. We're not friends. We never will be. I hate him. He hates me. But, we both wanted to be at the top of this promotion. To do that, you have to take out Richards' boys, pure and simple. So, we agreed to work together and make it happen. After we take down Jordan and his group, 'The Bullet Club' will do what it has to do."
Rose: "Which is what?"
Hall: "Watch and see, pretty lady. Watch and see."
Rose: "Back to you, William."
Regal: "So, Hall is in cahoots with Steen. Was that a one-off deal, or will this partnership continue?"
Hayes: "That's the million-dollar question."
Regal: "We'll be back with our main event after the break."
Regal: "We're back! Ladies and gentlemen, it's for our main event, for the Television Championship!"
Match Three ~ NWA: Show Time Television Championship ~ Ricochet with Maryse Ouellet vs. Jay Lethal with Truth Martini and the "Hoopla Hotties"--Shotzi Blakkhartt, Zahra, & Dana Adiva
This was an instant classic. both men's full arsenals were on display. They threw everything but the kitchen sink at one another. Every move, every dynamic piece of offense, every dramatic shift of dominance, all played out as the fans ate it up. Ricochet owned the early part of the match. lethal wore him down and took over for the bulk of the battle. Ricochet began to build some new momentum in the late stages of the match. Lethal attempted to hit the "Lethal Injection," but Ricochet nailed him with an "Eniziguiri" in the back of the head. This put Jay down, where he lay prone on the mat while Ricochet scaled the ropes and hit the "630 Senton Splash" to retain the championship.
Winner and STILL NWA: Show Time Television Champion = Ricochet by pinfall in 28:11
Regal: "Fantastic match! that was a standing ovation type of match. The fans are chanting, 'That was awesome!,' and for good reason!"
Hayes: "That was the best TV match I've seen in a long time! They both laid it all on the line! Beautiful match by both men!"
"The Bullet Club" and "The Outsiders" came out of the crowd and blindsided Ricochet. They laid the boots to him until "The Richards Collective" ran down to the ring and a massive brawl ensued.
Regal: "Fans, it has broken down completely out here! We're running out of time. Please join us next Tuesday on TBS for more of the Show Time Power Hour! For Michael Hayes, I'm William Regal, saying, ta ta for now!"
