William Regal: "Ladies and gentlemen, welcome to the finest sixty minutes of pro wrestling in the world, the Show Time Power Hour! I'm your host, William Regal. With me is hall of famer and co-host extraordinaire, Michael Hayes! Michael, we're less than two weeks away from Starrcade 2K16! Things are starting to heat up in NWA: Show Time!"
Michael Hayes: "Starting to heat up?! Brother, we're on fire!"
Regal: "It's a truly exciting time to be a wrestling fan! Fans, as was noted yesterday on the NWA's Transfer Center website, NWA: Show Time has just signed four of the most talented young stars in the sport to compete exclusively in the cruiserweight division alongside Dean Ambrose, the current titleholder. All four of those men will compete here tonight!"
Hayes: "Yep! Jay White, Damian Slater, Tony Nese, and Noam Dar will battle in a 'Fatal Four-Way,' with the winner receiving a future shot at the Cruiserweight Title!"
Regal: "That will be an instant classic! Also, Mikael Judas and Jason Justice will defend the Tag Team Championship against 'The Revival' on the program! We'll also be speaking to members of the three teams facing off in the 'Deathzone' match next week! All that and more, so, let's go to the ring for our first contest!"
Match One ~ "Aces High"--Bully Ray, D-Von, & Knox vs. "Sons of Steel"--Boomer Payne & Brice Anthony and "The Man Gravity Forgot" Adrian Neville
This was a wild and wooly match-up, to say the least. Adrian Neville represented the style and grace, while everyone else just beat the crap out of each other. "Sons of Steel" used their tandem offense to perfection, while the Dudleys did what they have always done. The end came when Neville Launched himself off the top rope. He was caught with a huge leaping "Clothesline" by Knox for the pin amid a ring full of superstars.
Winners = "Aces High" by pinfall in 10:03
Regal: "Neville was nearly broken in half by Knox and that huge 'Clothesline!'"
Hayes: "Yeah, he took his head off! That guy is huge!"
Regal: "We'll be back with that special interview after the break!"
Regal: "Fans, we're back. It's time to go to the interview that was moderated earlier today by 'SoCal' Val. She sat down with members of 'The Richards Collective,' 'The Bullet Club,' and 'The Outsiders.'"
The scene cut to a pre-taped interview.
Valerie Wyndham: "I am here with representatives from 'The Richards Collective,' NWA: Show Time CEO Jordan Richards, CM Punk, and The Rock. I'm also joined by members of 'The Outsiders,' Kevin Steen and Claudio Castagnoli. Finally, Commissioner Scott Hall and Tama Tonga are here from 'The Bullet Club.' Gentlemen, thank you all for agreeing to sit down and conduct this interview. Next Tuesday, all three of your groups will fight inside a three-ring structure completely enclosed in a steel cage. This structure, and the match itself, is called the 'Deathzone.' Now, Mr. Richards, explain to us why exactly this match is happening."
Jordan Richards: "Well Val, the bottom line is that the three factions you see before you are all engaged in a fight for supremacy in NWA: Show Time. The entire NWA just won a war against 'The Bullet Club,' one that lasted for many exhausting months. I'm not going to go through that again. So, we're going to see who the alpha dogs are. We're going to lock eleven men and one woman into the 'Deathzone' and they will fight it out to a definitive finish. Any time someone is pinned or submitted, they leave the 'Deathzone.' We go until one team or one person is left standing."
Wyndham: "Commissioner Hall, what are your thoughts headed into this match?"
Hall: "Hey, yo! 'The Bullet Club' has no fear. We're not worried. Not in the least."
Wyndham: "Do you care to shed any light on who you might send into the match?"
Hall: "You'll know when everyone else knows...when we walk to the ring."
Wyndham: "Fair enough. Mr. Steen, 'The Outsiders' are in a unique situation, due to the fact that Black Widow is the only female in this match. Do you think that this puts your team at a disadvantage?"
Kevin Steen: "Mr. Steen. I like that. First of all, 'The Outsiders' are the class of this company. We were the class of 'The Bullet Club.' Now, they're a shell of their former glory since we left. Secondly, Black Widow is no liability. She has fought and beaten many men in her career. She is a genetic anomaly. She will be an asset to us. here's the deal. We're going to win the match. And. yes, we're going to win it with a girl on our team. When we do, the world will bow down."
CM Punk: "I beg to differ, Steen! You boys will go down to us like you always have. 'The Richards Collective' is the top stable in the sport, much less this company! We're the best in the world!"
Tama Tonga: "That's funny! Everyone knows 'The Bullet Club' rules pro wrestling! We have since day one! By the way, Kevin Steen and his crew can't lace up our boots! That's why we kicked you out, punks!"
The Rock: "Just because you from the islands doesn't mean you can talk all that noise! The Rocks says that, next week, we're gonna whip all your candy a--es in that cage!"
Claudio Castagnoli: "'The Richards Collective' is a bunch of has-beens nobody cares about anymore! And, 'The Bullet Club' is a bunch of people no one ever has cared about! 'The Outsiders' will prove we are the toughest and best wrestlers around next week!"
Wyndham: "Gentlemen, let's try to maintain our composure. This next question goes to Jordan Richards. As the CEO of the company, you're in a unique position as the front man of 'The Richards Collective.' Does that skew your point of view?"
Richards: "Of course, I want my guys to succeed. However, I run a business. If the business is to succeed, it cannot be solely because 'The Richards Collective' does so. Look, my group is the best there is. That's why they are in my group in the first place. But, without the other wrestlers in this room, along with a stacked roster full of talent, NWA: Show Time would not be where it is today. And, as far as the 'Deathzone' match goes, I am staying out of it. The match will be won inside the ring by the best team, period. There needs to be a pecking order, and it will be established next Tuesday night!"
Wyndham: "I have one final question. Who will be the last person standing?"
Steen: "I don't mean to brag, but you're looking at him. "The Outsiders' will reign supreme, and I'll still be there at the end."
Tonga: "Hey, the whole 'Bullet Club' will be there at the end."
Punk: "I said we were the best in the world, and I meant it! 'The Richards Collective' will stare down each one of you as we beat you up and toss you aside! We're taking it home!"
Wyndham: "There you have it. History will be made on the program next Tuesday. Back to you, William."
Regal: "Those were some strong words, Michael."
Hayes: "Well, everyone can talk a big game, but can they deliver when it's all on the line? That remains to be seen."
Regal: "Fans, let's go back to the ring for our 'Fatal Four-Way' Cruiserweight match!"
Match Two ~ "Fatal Four-Way" match for a future NWA: Show Time Cruiserweight Championship opportunity ~ Tony Nese vs. Jay White vs. Noam Dar vs. Damian Slater
This was one of the most action-packed matches in the history of the program. These four men made Jordan Richards look like a genius in signing them. They pulled out all the stops to earn the championship opportunity. Nese showed his brute strength. Slater showed his mat acumen. Dar flew around the ring, while White displayed the strong style he learned at the New Japan dojo. Ultimately, Nese had the match won after a "Pumphandle Slam" on Dar, but was leveled with a "Missile Kick" from White for the pin.
Winner = Jay White by pinfall in 17:32
Regal: "Phenomenal contest! These four men battled it out in front of a crowd that was eating up every sequence!"
Hayes: "What a match! Jay White struck at the perfect time, just when Tony Nese thought he had it won! Impressive showing by every man in it!"
Regal: "The cruiserweight division may begin to set the world on fire!"
As Jay white celebrated, he was attacked from behind by Dean Ambrose. Ambrose hit "Dirty Deeds" on the floor, knocking White unconscious.
Regal: "Good Lord! Someone get the trainers out here to check on Jay White, who was brutally driven headfirst into the floor at ringside!"
Hayes: "That was a provoked attack from the Cruiserweight Champion, targeting this next challenger! Man, Jay White is out cold!"
Regal: "Fans, we'll go to commercial as we check on the status of Jay White."
Regal: "We're back. Trainers were able to revive Jay White, who had been knocked unconscious by Cruiserweight Champion Dean Ambrose. White was helped to the back, as he appeared woozy and disoriented."
Hayes: "He took a shot right to the noggin on the hardwood floor. He may have a concussion."
Regal: "Fans, we'll keep you updated on the condition of Jay White. It's now time to go back to the ring for our Tag Team Championship main event!"
Match Three ~ NWA: Show Time Tag Team Championship ~ "Priest of Punishment" Mikael Judas & "Ticking Time Bomb" Jason Justice vs. "The Revival"--Dash Wilder & Scott Dawson
Dawson and Wilder represent pure, unadulterated, old school tag team precision at its finest. Judas and Justice are an old school team as well, but they just like to beat people up and the fans love them for it. "The Revival" controlled the bulk of the match, cutting the ring in half and keeping Justice in for a massive amount of time, as he absorbed punishment for nearly ten minutes straight at one point. Judas finally got into the match and cleaned house. All four men ended up in the ring and Justice fell victim to "Shatter Machine." Judas made the save, but did so with a steel chair, prompting a disqualification.
Winners = "The Revival" by disqualification in 25:28 (Judas & Justice retain the titles)
Regal: "That was a throwback to the tag team battles of the eighties! Fantastic! You hate to see it end inconclusively, though."
Hayes: Yeah, Judas went a little crazy with the chair at the end. They keep the belts, but 'The Revival' technically has a victory over the champions, which is a big deal for them! Does that make them the number one contenders?"
Regal: "It would seem so. This issue between the two teams is far from over, I can guarantee that! Fans, we're hearing that Jay White has passed the initial concussion protocol in the back, but will be taken to a nearby medical facility for further assessment. That is good news."
Hayes: "It's great to hear he does not have a concussion. You'd better believe that he has retribution on the brain. Dean Ambrose better look out!"
Regal: "Indeed. Fans, we're out of time for this episode. Please join us next Tuesday on TBS for the huge 'Deathzone' match on the Show Time Power Hour! It's going to be a once-in-a-lifetime event! For Michael Hayes, I'm William Regal, saying, ta ta for now!"
