William Regal: "Ladies and gentlemen, welcome to the finest sixty minutes of pro wrestling in the world, the Show Time Power Hour! I'm you host, William Regal, joined by hall of famer Michael Hayes! Michael, it seems that there are three stables vying for supremacy in NWA: Show Time! Last week, the program ended with 'The Bullet Club' standing tall amid a sea of broken bodies, as they attacked both 'The Richards Collective' and 'The Outsiders.'"
Michael Hayes: "Yep! Three alpha dogs are in a turf war! Only one can win! Who's it going to be?!"
Regal: "While that remains to be seen, we do know for sure that we have the first true 'mixed tag team' match in many years on the program today! That should be an exciting affair! Plus, 'Meiyu Tag' takes on Mikael Judas and Jason Justice with the Tag Team Championship on the line!"
Just then, "If ya smellllllll...what The Rock...is cookin'!" blared to bring The Rock out to a roar.
The Rock: "So, let The Rock get this straight! Last week, this beautiful Mid-Atlantic Championship belt is thrown over a big ole broad shoulder, and it's almost time for the millions...and million's of The Rock's fans to watch him do what he does best, put boots to a--es!" (a "Boots to a--es!" chant breaks out)
The Rock: "And, all of a sudden, he gets jumped from behind by Kevin Steen, Claudio Castagnoli, and Idol Stevens. Now, The Rock's not gonna lie. They dealt out a beating last week. They put The Rock down! So, The Rock thinks it's only fair that he gets to return the favor by laying the smack down on their candy a--es here tonight! So, The Rock doesn't care which one of you it is. Talk it over backstage. Play 'Rock, Paper, Scissors' if you have to, but someone needs to get out here right now so he can take his a-- whipping like a man!"
"The Outsiders" appeared on the entrance ramp.
Kevin Steen: "So, Rocky wants to fight, does he? Fine. Let's fight!"
The Rock readied himself as Steen, Castangoli, and Stevens ran to the ring. The Rock held them at bay for several seconds before they overtook him. At that point, "Cult of Personality" hit to bring out CM Punk. He hit the ring and went after Steen and company. Then, "Why Are You So Cold?" played to bring out Ricochet, who went straight to the top rope and hit a "Corkscrew Plancha" onto Stevens and Castagnoli. The fight continued for a few minutes more until "The Richards Collective" fully gained the upper hand. "The Outsiders" retreated up the ramp as they shouted at The Rock, Punk, and Ricochet, who were then blindsided by "The Bullet Club." "The Richards Collective" eventually ran them off after Punk grabbed a couple of steel chairs. All three stables were screaming at each other at various parts of the ringside area. This brought out Commissioner Scott Hall.
Scott Hall: "Hey, yo! It looks like we're having trouble deciding who's running the show around here. Let me make it perfectly clear. It's 'The Bullet Club!' But, just to give us something to do, why don't we have a match next week? How about we make it a three-way tag team match? 'Steen and his buddies will take on three of Jordan Richards' scrubs and we'll pick three of our men! What do you say, boys?"
Ricochet could be heard saying, "Bring it on, b****!" Steen and his camp nodded in approval. Just then, "Ladies and Gentlemen" by Saliva hit to bring out CEO Jordan Richards.
Jordan Richards: "So, it looks like we have quite a few froggies ready to jump! Scott, I normally hate anything that comes out of your mouth, but the three-way tag match idea is a good one. 'The Outsiders' have their three, we'll pick our three, and you decide which three of yours will be fed to us! But, let's up the ante just a little bit. When I was a youngster and I misbehaved, my mother would lash me with a leather belt to keep me in line. Now, both of your groups have misbehaved by jumping on 'The Richards Collective.' I'd say a good ole fashioned belt-whipping is in order! How about we add this one stipulation--the winning team gets to dole out ten lashes a piece to the losers?! That's right! We're about to jump into our time machine and pull out a gimmick that harkens back to Michael Hayes' days in World Class Championship Wrestling. 'P.S.,' we're going to have ourselves a 'Country Whipping' match next week!"
Hayes: "Oh man! I had plenty of those with the Von Erich family over the years! All I can say is, you better not lose next week, or you won't sit down for a month!"
Regal: "A three-team 'Country Whipping' match on the program next week?! Oh my! That's going to be one to see! Fans, we have to take a commercial break. When we return, the ten-person mixed tag team match will be next!"
Regal: "We're back! Let's go to the ring!"
Match One ~ Ten-person "Mixed Tag Team" match ~ "The Kingdom"--Michael Bennett, Matt Taven, "Killer Elite Squad"--Davey Boy Smith, Jr. and Lance Hoyt, & Taylor Gallagher vs. "Wrestling's Greatest Tag Team"--Shelton Benjamin and Charlie Haas, "The All-Americans"--"Olympic Hero" Kurt Angle and "Universal Soldier" Gunner, & Veda Scott
With this being a true "mixed tag team" match, it was perfectly legal for the men to face off with the women. This did not happen much, but the few times it did, it was plenty entertaining. Kurt Angle locked the "Ankle Lock" on Gallagher before it was broken up by Hoyt. Smith caught Scott in a "Bearhug" and rag dolled her around before Haas made the save. The match was fast-paced and furious. The finishing sequence saw Bennett and Taven set up for "Hail Mary" on Scott. Benjamin nailed Bennett with a "Superkick," taking him out of the equation. At the same time, Gunner shoved Taven off the top rope, crotching him. Benjamin then hit a scintillating "Springboard Hurricanrana" on Taven, allowing Scott to pounce on him for the pin.
Winners = "Wrestling's Greatest Tag Team," "The All-Americans," & Veda Scott by pinfall in 11:23
Regal: "What a match! The action was everywhere!"
Hayes: "The women held their own against the fellas, and Veda Scott even got herself a pin over Matt Taven. I bet that's guy's singing soprano right about now!"
Regal: "Indeed! Fans, we have word that 'SoCal' Val is standing by with Mikael Judas and Jason Justice, who will challenge for the Tag Team Championship in our main event."
Valerie Wyndham: "I'm here with 'Ticking Time Bomb' Jason Justice and 'Priest of Punishment' Mikael Judas. You two will attempt to regain the NWA: Show Time Tag team Championship in a few minutes. What is your mindset heading into this match with the formidable champions, 'Meiyu Tag?'"
Mikael Judas: "Our minds are set upon our future victims, they who you call 'Meiyu Tag.' Yes, we have shared a ring with Goto and Shibata before. We know of their prowess. They weave a tapestry in the art of 'strong style.' But, we offer a style even stronger still, one tinged with the blood of our sacrifices. Goto and Shibata must clear their minds, lest they fall victim to their thoughts. Fear is a silent assassin, but it lurks in darkest corners of the hearts of men. We, however, know no fear. For, we have conquered our thoughts. Tonight, wrongs will be righted. Sins will be purged. Sentences will be carried out. Our lust for warfare will be satiated. The spoils of victory come in the form of two platinum championship belts. we shall reap the treasures of triumph."
Wyndham: "So, you are predicting a title change tonight?"
Mikael Judas: "Predictions are merely uneducated guesses. Let them be reserved for prognosticators and weathermen. I make only the promise and pain, wrath, and destruction."
Wyndham: "Jason, any parting words from you?"
Jason Justice: "Tick, tick, tick!" (walks away laughing maniacally)
Wyndham: "William, back to you."
Regal: "Those two still strike me as an odd pairing, but, boy, do they intimidate!"
Hayes: "When I see guys their size walk around, any notion I have to get back in the ring goes away very quickly. Those guys are the real deal!"
Regal: "Let's go to the ring for our main event Tag Team Championship match!"
Match Two ~ NWA: Show Time Tag Team Championship ~ "Meiyu Tag"--Hirooki Goto & Katsuyori Shibata with Lana vs. "Priest of Punishment" Mikael Judas & "Ticking Time Bomb" Jason Justice
This was as violent as anticipated. Every man took turns teeing off on one another. The Japanese are very proud people. Goto and Shibata are smaller in stature and strength than their challengers, but looked to prove they were just as heavy-hitting. For those who enjoy smash mouth pro wrestling, you were treated to it in spades. The moment of the match had to have been when Judas fell victim to a double "Penalty Kick" finisher from "Meiyu Tag," only to kick out at the one-count. The crowd erupted as he sat up with a look of rage on his face. The end came after a "Psycho Slam" on Goto from Justice.
Winners and NEW NWA: Show Time Tag Team Champions = Mikael Judas & Jason Justice by pinfall in 22:51
Regal: "We have new champions! Mikael Judas and Jason Justice have become two-time champions!"
Hayes: "That was a man's match! They beat the heck out of each other!"
Just then, this familiar tag team came stalking down the entrance ramp:
Regal: "That's 'The Revival!' They are the last ever NXT Tag Team Champions from WWE! What are they doing here?!"
Hayes: "I don't know, but it looks like they have bad intentions!"
"The Revival" attacked the new champions and left them laying after dual "Shatter Machines." They posed with the championship belts before leaving the area.
Regal: "'The Revival' came out of nowhere and left Judas and Justice prone in the middle of the ring!"
Hayes: "That was a statement made, for sure. But, will they regret jumping on the big dogs later?"
Regal: "Fans, we need some questions answered after that appearance. Do they work for our company now? Are they rogues? They clearly have decided to go straight for the champions. Is there a history? or, do they simply want those titles? Wait a moment, fans. I'm getting word that Jordan Richards has a cameraman backstage. let's cut away right now."
the scene cut to the backstage are, where CEO Jordan Richards was talking to Ricochet.
Richards: "Listen, I know you're upset that Carmella's contract was not renewed."
Ricochet: "Dang right I'm upset! She ran my day-to-day affairs! And now, she's gone?! Just like that?!"
Richards: "Hey, I get it! It's a shock to the system. But, I have you covered. Follow me outside. I have a surprise for you."
The two walked outside to a limousine. Jordan opened the rear door to reveal this beauty:
Richards: "I'd like to introduce you to your new valet, the beautiful Maryse Ouellet."
Ricochet: "Seriously?! I can dig it."
Richards: "Maryse, this is your new partner, 'The Future of Flight' Ricochet."
Ricochet took Maryse by the hand and helped her out of the limo.
Maryse Ouellet: "Je suis enchantée. Je suis ravi de faire votre connaissance (I am enchanted. I am delighted to make your acquaintance)."
Ricochet: "I don't know what she said, but I like it!"
Ouellet: "Don't worry. I speak English just fine."
Ricochet: "Maybe you could teach me some French."
Ouellet: "My pleasure. Maybe you could show me some of your moves."
Ricochet: "That would be MY pleasure."
Richards: "I'll let you two get to know each other. By the way, you're welcome."
Ricochet and Richards exchanged a fist bump. Richards then kissed Maryse's hand as they all went back into the arena.
Regal: "My, my. I'd say Maryse is a comparable replacement for Carmella."
Hayes: "I'd say she's a major upgrade!"
Regal: "That makes two debuts, of sorts, here tonight! What an episode!"
Jordan Richards walked back out to the ring with a microphone in hand.
Richards: "I have one more announcement. Ahead of next week's big 'Country Whipping' match, the NWA is airing World of Wrestling 'Halloween Havoc II' live on Friday. I have decided that Show Time needs some representation on that program. So, we are going to have a 'Three-Way Dance' between Kevin Steen of 'The Outsiders,' Bad Luck Fale of 'The Bullet Club,' and the World Champion himself, 'The Beast' Brock Lesnar of my 'Richards Collective.' But, this won't be any ordinary three-way match. You see, to coincide with the theme of Halloween, this will be a 'Death' match! The last man who can answer a ten-count wins the battle! So, boys, good luck, and may God have mercy on your souls."
Regal: "Fans, we're rapidly running out of time. Please catch 'Halloween Havoc II' this Friday on TBS, and please join us again next Tuesday on TBS for that huge 'Country Whipping' match and more on the Show Time Power Hour! For Michael Hayes, I'm William Regal, saying, ta ta for now!"
